I made an online appointment for 10am today. I arrived a few minutes early and Michelle brought me promptly. The atmosphere was very clean, soothing, and calming. There was a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders, so Michelle was focusing on those areas first me during the massage. She also ended up cracking my back, which felt good as well. My mom and brother were in town this weekend and she decided to treat us to facials and massage. Amanda and Michelle treated us perfectly. My mom and I got combined massage and facial. I started off with the massage. She used multiple techniques (deep tissue, ashiatsu, thai, and hot stone) on me and worked out some stubborn knots between my shoulders. I had never experienced ashiatsu before but found she was very adept with her feet. It was very intense but oh so good!! The hot stone massage was oh so wonderful too. Next was the facial. She took her time and not only provided a rejuvenating skin treatment, but also gave a wonderful facial and head massage. Working out more tension. My skin has not felt so soft in a long time. My mom and brother came out saying how good they felt too. My mom's face was smooth and soft and my brother shared "the crunching in my shoulders is gone." I was able to get in quickly on a rainy Tuesday and I worked with Jenny. It was easily one of the best massages of my life. Although she was young she really seemed like she'd been doing body work for many, many years. She checked in with me a couple of times about the pressure (it was perfect) and her draping made me feel comfortable. We usually go to the Good Hands in Fair Oaks but we were near the Citrus Heights location so we decided to make an appointment. We were greeted by the most calm and gentle dog I've ever met in my life. The dog honestly set the tone for how great our experience was going to be. My husband got a massage by Amanda and he said it was great! BTW He likes strong pressure. We got a couples massage and she stepped on him and worked on his high hamstring strain, it gave him so much relief. I got Lilly and she is one of the best masseuse they have on staff. Dan and Amanda are a wonderful couple and really know what they are doing. I've had a lot of issues with trauma and being able to have my hips and back touched.
