I love the atmosphere of this place. I had a pink and white full set of nails and a deluxe pedi. Love love love my nails, done by Theresa. Deluxe pedi was quite a disappointment (this time). She kept yawning and looking at the timer. The "massage" was just a light rub that my two year old could have done. For 90.00 dollars...disapointed. I switched to Moon Nails after I was given a gift 3 years ago and I stayed. Best nail place ever and their deluxe pedicures are amazing. I also bring all of my children in for nails and pedis as a treat before our big vacations and have never been disappointed. They treat us all wonderfully and always try to fit me in. WARNING: DO NOT USE SERVICES OR BUY A GIFT CERTIFICATE FROM HERE. Last week my family went to get 2 manicures and 2 pedicures. We had received a GIFT CERTIFICATE and was using it. Because of the price of the two manicures (both gel), we "used" it to lower the cost. Our Certificate was NOT USED as a part of our transaction and we will not be getting a refund after the manager of the books and such refused that she "Never makes mistakes" and had to come in immediately to fix it, since the certificates are thrown away immediately and there is NO record of our transaction. We were on vacation and could not come in any sooner. Not only that, 1 nail chipped the same day, and the gel manicure did not even last a week. Not only that, one of the nails was cut and bled, turning bright red after getting home. Terrible service, never will recommend or go back. read more

I have been going to moon nails for over a year and the staff have been professional and polite. My gel nail's have lasted the correct amount of time without chips or problems. Kim is very good at her job and she take's her time to be sure my nails are perfect when I leave. The prices are comparable to other salon's. read more

Overall the last 3 to 4 years I come up with 4 stars. There was a person there who didn't last long and I think one of the reasons is because he refused to do what the customer asked. There does seem to be some staff that are better at dealing with customer service. The place has always been clean. I have had my cuticles nicked, however they have yet to leave me with a spot on my nail bed that I suffered from where I went previously. If you go there as a regular then they will give you tools to bring in every time. As far as pricing goes they are actually a little cheaper than where I was going before. And they are right by Target, which is a huge convenience factor for me and my family since we shop there often! Keep up the good work and thank you for what you do! read more

I'm always very satisfied with my experiences here. I love how they remember my name when I walk in and the owner remembers personal details about clients which I truly appreciate. I have now seen a few different people and I have never had a bad experience. My last appointment I saw Vee and she did amazing job with my full set acrylic and gel polish. She really listened to what I wanted and she didn't Rush. Love the shape and length, exactly what I asked for. When I came in my nails were in terrible condition from last acrylic set (I had them done elsewhere and within a day I had 2 breaks, within 2 weeks I had 6 bad breaks that left my nails really short and painful, then I removed them) anyways Vee was always checking to make sure nothing she was doing was hurting me and again did not seem RUSHED which made me feel more comfortable and also happy that they care to Take the time to make sure each appointment feels special. read more

My experience at Moon Nails was absolutely horrible. DON'T GO THERE!!! I rarely go and get my nails done but thought I would treat myself to a spring mani/pedi at Moon Nails. Wrong place to choose. I went with my friend and we both got pedicures to begin with. We both ended up feeling extremely uncomfortable because the women who were working on our feet kept talking in their native language and then staring at us. Really awkward, unprofessional and not relaxing at all! My manicurist kept checking her phone while in the middle of doing my manicure, and even left for 5 minutes in the middle of one of my hands! She did not take her time to buff, file, or even polish--isn't that the point of her job...to do a good job on my nails?!?? I will NEVER go to this place again. I recommend going to one of the other nail salons that sit on every corner and avoiding this one. The woman I had and the woman my friend had were both extremely rude and I wish I would not have spent a dime there. read more

If I lived closer I would so go here more! Very reasonable priced and they did a good job on my nails. They are clearly just getting their foot in the door of this bussiness but with a little time and clientel they will get more money and maybe have a nicer store which is why i say 4/5. However if you like to have good work done and dont want to pay a arm and a leg, this place is great. They also do great eyebrow waxes for hardly anything. read more

Worst Customer Service!! I walked in and asked for a pedicure. A woman looked at me and said " No time for you" and then turned her back on me. She could of at least told me to come back. My friend and I went in as first time customers on a Friday for pedicures and we had prompt service. It was really busy which made us believe it wasgoing to be an incredible experience. My friend and I sat down and the water was chilly. We had to ask for warm water. We were immediately asked if we wanted to Delux Pedicure or the regular, were told the difference in service and price difference.We decided to go with the Delux. My friend had a very sweet gal, Amy who introduced herself to her and asked a few small talk questions. Very pleasant. I, on the other hand had no conversation with my nail technician, so I had to initiate conversation asking her name and such. I was half way done with my pedicure when Amy had just started on my friend. This was not why we had gone together; to sit on opposite sides on the salon from one another for an hour. My legs were rudely tapped to transfer my feet in an out of the water and there wasn't any communication besides that. My pedicure was very short, the massage seemed like it was a bother to my technician (Lina? Allina?). after time had passed at the drying station, I went back to he pedicure chair where my friend was an saw that she was just starting polish. I waited 10 minutes with her and then asked to speak with the manager. The manager told me I needed to talk to the technician about how I felt. I used the analogy that when you are at a restaurant, you don't talk to the chef if there is a problem with the food, you speak to the manager or your server. The manager at Moon Nails did nothing but say "i'm sorry." This was a HUGE disappointment and I will NOT be returning here. read more

First of all, I admit that I have some mild phobias about the cleanliness of nail salons. When you aren't familiar with a salon, it can be a lot of money to put down only to be grossed out the whole time. So, if you are not a fellow cleanliness nerd, you may feel more comfortable than I did here. This place is busy, and for a nail salon that is a pretty positive sign. I was in for a mani and pedi. I could tell there are many repeat customers, again - a good sign. My impression is that depending on the nail tech you get you may have a fabulous experience or a meh one. Mine was ok, but bordered on meh. Some of the tool cleanliness was questionable. I prefer places that have a disposable plastic liner in the foot tubs, this did not. At the pedi stations it was quite dark, which I just didn't like. The pedicure was pretty good. For some unknown reason, she made me get up and go to the mani station and then got down on her knees under the table and finished the pedi under there. I was thoroughly confused. She also had a bluetooth device around her neck the entire time and kept randomly talking into it, which was just odd. At one point, referring to the bluetooth, she explained she was in an accident once and her lawyer sometimes needs to get a hold of her...mmm-k. Manicure was just as good as I've had other places. The prices were a little high. At home the next day I noticed that the side of one of my toes next to the nail was red, puffy, and had a spot of dried blood, It was also very tender to the touch. Noooo, I thought, please don't tell me it's an infection -- this is my worst nightmare. I soaked my foot and applied hydrogen peroxide twice a day for a week, and it eventually cleared up. My conclusion is that she cut into my skin there and hopefully if an infection started to breed I killed it with the hydrogen peroxide. I realize this can happen, but it left me with an overall not good feeling about this place. I will keep looking. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I went here with my grandmother and she had long beautiful natural nails and they cut them so short it looks as though she chews them. I got acrylics and a week later 2 popped off and one ripped my whole real fingernail off and so I went back to get them fixed and she tried telling me that they didn't do my nails because they "didn't have that color" so after I grabbed the color off the wall and showed it to her she said "oh I remember you. You came with your grandma and I already knew your nails we're gonna pop off because your nail beds are short. " when they were not short at all because I grew them out to get the acrylics on. Don't ever go here. There prices are so much higher. Worst place ever. All my nails are crooked and I will never go back. read more
