After touring the extremely extensive array of the most beautiful trees, MJ helped us select the perfect trees that exceeded our expectations to create a beautiful wall of instant privacy within our budget. Moon Valley of Carrollton's turnkey service included custom installation and MJ presented a myriad of payment options with substantial discounts for financing, credit card, or cash. We opted for the additional year guarantee which includes up to (2) two replacement trees for every tree planted if there's ever an issue that can't be solved by MJ and his team. Most importantly, after the sale MJ came out twice to mark the locations of the trees and ensured that that there would be absolutely zero utility conflicts prior to moving any soil. On the day of installation, MJ was on-site the entire time making sure everything progressed perfectly to the plan. Our third project with Moon Vallley.....our crape Myrtle from last year is thriving! Christian Hall designed our front flowerbeds for us a few weeks ago and did a beautiful job, we were so excited to see all the new plants. Today James was in charge of the planting crew and they were prompt, even called to say they juggled their times and started us much earlier than originally planned. James and his crew were very efficient, I think they had both flowerbeds planted in about an hour and were very responsive to all our questions. They did a great job at leaving our yard clean. Last week we also used Moon Valley to trim our huge pistache tree in the front yard. Rudy was the foreman of our job, gave us a lot of good advice about where and how much to trim off the tree. We wish we had used MV last year when we had our big backyard tree trimmed......they will be our tree trimmers going forward. I didnt get the name of the guy who climbed up and actually trimmed the pistache but I'm sure MV knows to give him credit.... We chuckled that he was like a monkey climbing that tree....he did such an awesome job of evenly trimming right where needed and we were thrilled how he cut off all those little fragile twigs from top to bottom bc with each windstorm we'd be rakng the front yard to gather them all! I stopped by Moon Valley Nurseries because I was nearby on an errand. I'd been looking for front landscaping for months. We had some ideas, but couldn't draw it all together. Many nurseries wanted hundreds of dollars just to get their ideas! I happened upon Matt, who was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. After showing him pictures and discussing our ideas, Matt made some recommendations and we walked the nursery to look at options. That afternoon Matt and his crew stopped by our house. They "flagged" the area to show what it might look like. We quickly had an agreement in principle. The next week, Robert and his crew came to install the plants. They had selected full, beautiful, blooming specimens. Robert provided communications, an eye for detail and a desire to please. He taught me about the plants as they planted them. They identified a leak in the sprinkler system and fixed it free of additional charge. He even helped me with a tree that was already on the property. I highly recommend both Matt and Robert! I recently visited Moon Valley Nursery in Carrollton to purchase trees for a large-scale landscaping project at my new home. From the start, Robert was incredibly helpful, walking me through a variety of trees and taking the time to explain their characteristics. His knowledge and patience made the selection process smooth and enjoyable, and I truly appreciated his customer-focused approach. However, my experience took a disappointing turn when I was introduced to the general manager, Scott. Rather than a professional greeting, he immediately assumed I was there to sell him tires simply because I was wearing a Discount Tire jacket. His dismissive and rude attitude was completely uncalled for and left a bad impression. It's unfortunate that such a positive interaction with Robert was overshadowed by this experience. When making a significant investment in landscaping, professionalism and respect go a long way, and Scott's behavior made me reconsider where I take my business. read more

Zack swooped in like a superhero, armed with knowledge and a Sharpie, ready to save the day (and my 13-year-old Red Oak). Not only did Zack diagnose the salt-induced leaf burn with the precision of a tree doctor, but he also demonstrated how to prevent it. His expertise was nothing short of magical--he even labeled my treatment bags with seasonal instructions as if they were treasure maps. Magic (Josh) at Moon Valley Nurseries is amazing! We met him at the Home & Garden Show in Fort Worth recently and decided to go ahead with a consult. He came to our home in Paradise and listened to our wants and then walked the property with us. He came up with a really reasonable plan for trees that we wanted. Most importantly, he was able to work within our budget. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with him. We arranged to meet him at the nursery to pick out our actual trees...what fun that was! We found a couple of fruit trees on that trip that we brought home and planted ourselves...we will most definitely let Moon Valley do all the rest of the planting in the future! I have had 2 years of bad weather that has caused many of my fruit and landscaping trees to die. We bought the trees insurance. That was great! Moon Valley has replaced some of the trees 2 times in 2 years. Richard the Manager of Carrollton has been a super star in solving our needs! Then he handed to replacement to James and Bo to replace the trees! They are simply GREAT!. Finally we have the back yard and front yard as we planned. My wife and I saw the big banner being flown behind a plane on Labor Day on our way to a Rangers game. She said we should check there for new trees to help with noise abatement. The following Saturday we did. We were greeted and treated great. Rode around on the 7 acres in a gator looking at trees. We found it, bought them and just had them planted. I went by there to look for shrubs last week.I walked around for quite a bit and Reggie was the first to greet me and let me know he would be back around to help me as he had another client with him. Reggie came back and forth amongst both of us. He made me feel welcomed and was very attentive from the beginning. He asked questions about my project needs and wants. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE STEFANI! We first became Moon Valley customers in March 2025. The sales person spent significant time discussing plant options. The actual install had a few hiccups and unfortunately we did need to replace several trees and shrubs - but that happens in nature. What matters the most was Stefani's personal involvement and follow through. I LOVED this nursery. I called and Una came out and was great at helping us decide which package, which plants, trees etc. My husband and I then went to the Nursery to pick out exactly what we wanted. All the plants were planted perfectly and the staff was amazing. They gave clear instructions and were generous with the "moon juice" that you use to help roots grow. I am still waiting on one tree, but they offer me a good deal on another one because I had to wait so long. The staff, professional approach and quality trees make this place AMAZING. We needed to replace two trees from our front yard that we lost during last summer's straight line winds. Moon Valley had just opened its new location in Carrolton, so we dropped in to see what kind of inventory they had. It turns out they had a lot - but we had a great experience working with Dakota, who patiently answered all our questions and guided us to two great specimens in our price range.
