I had gone to urgent care, worn a heart monitor, done EKGs, blood tests, and had multiple follow-ups with doctors. Everything came back "normal." And while that should have been reassuring, deep down, I knew something wasn't right. I had pain, random heart rate spikes even while resting, and an overwhelming sense that something was off in my body. Still, the doctors told me, "You're fine." And honestly? I started to doubt myself. It got to the point where I thought, "Do I have to wait for this to get worse before anyone believes me?" I was starting to feel helpless. I even had nights where I wondered, What if I go to sleep and don't wake up? Out of desperation, I turned to holistic healing. I'd heard of reiki before but had never seriously considered it. But this time, I felt like I had no other choice. I found Kazumi through Peaceful Body Healing, and while browsing her services, I came across something called "BodyTalk." I had never heard of it before, but something about the way it was described felt right. So I booked a session. My first BodyTalk session with Kazumi was on November 28, 2024. I wasn't sure what to expect, but she instantly made me feel comfortable. We talked through my symptoms, emotional stress, and history -- and then she began the session. I laid on the table, she held my hand and began tapping, and soon started asking me questions based on what she was picking up intuitively from my body. One of her questions brought me back to a memory from when I was five -- something I hadn't thought about in decades. It was surreal. She ended the session with a short reiki healing -- which felt like a bonus since that's what I originally set out to try. Side note for the data lovers: I use an AI stress tracking tool called StressWatch that monitors my body's stress levels. The charts I've included show my results from 2024 through March 2025. In November, before connecting with Kazumi, my stress levels were at its worst point of the year. After my first session, December showed significant improvement. Then in March -- after completing her Reiki I course -- my stress levels were in the green, the best they'd ever been. Seeing this shift both felt real and was backed by actual data. It made me a true believer in the power of holistic healing. Kazumi has helped me heal in ways I didn't think were possible -- not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.
