It's nestled in a food hall for takeaway only, which we didn't know from doing research. That's fine we found a table outside. The fries tasted like they were previously frozen and fried for a second. No better than Ore-Ida frozen fries, which are bad. The nuggets were extremely dry (I suspect air fried not deep fried) and so tough I couldn't cut them small for my kid. Choking hazard. The bulgogi bowl was acceptable, nothing special. Ordered moonbowls for pickup via UberEats when I was just looking for new places to try around Midtown. The location is ... fairly hard to get to. It's at a two-level building with a kind of weird parking situation .. one tiny parking lot at the lower level and a very slanted one on the upper level on a hill. A lot of cars were parked along the side of the road. Upon further research, apparently this is a new thing by Cloud Kitchens, which is a "ghost kitchen" delivery model where the building is only for takeout and delivery. (I didn't know this so it was kind of weird just picking my food at a kiosk in some building). The pickup was easy enough though - they'll have the ready orders on the screen and you just walk up to the kiosk and show your order ID. I ordered the Don't Cauliflower It a Comeback and at the time, UberEats gave a free order of the Korean Hot Chicken as well. The cauliflower bowl was really good - I love fried cauliflower. The BBQ sauce was a good touch. The shredded kale + onions salad was alright. I picked the steamed bamboo rice as the base, which was very new to me. It's a short-grain white rice that almost reminded me of quinoa but I thought was pretty good. The Korean Hot Chicken was also pretty good, though it is fairly spicy (+ the spicy gochujang sauce that comes with it) so be warned. It came with a lot of chicken so it's definitely good they gave a lot of rice with it. I saved this for the next day so I can't say anything about the crispiness of the chicken but overall this was pretty good, as well. Overall, I thought moonbowls was great. It has some great vegan options (Don't Cauliflower It a Comeback) that are super tasty (if not tastier than their meat options). For $13+, the bowls are very filling and also nutritious and healthy. It's a very interesting take on Asian fusion + vegan/veggie-based cuisine. I would probably get this again for the cauliflower wings alone. read more

We selected the kale salad slaw with brown rice and cucumbers for the BBQ bowl. The fried chicken was the same. You get fresh pineapples with the fried chicken bowl. I had the steak bowl, and felt the taste accurately reflected the pretty, fresh and healthy-looking photos on the website. The restaurant was communicative about the delivery, timing, fanatic about getting the order correct, and wanted to know my feedback. My only disappointment was what must have been a misprint or error on a marketing card attached to my first delivery bag. If I signed up for texts, emails, I'd get "a free bowl". Soo delicious. My first time trying it was on Austin, Texas. The location in Atlanta did not disappoint. I ordered through Postmates the first time and UberEats the second. I got the KBBQ Cauliflower salad both times. The cauliflower has little to no crisp, but I didn't mind. If that's something you'd prefer then I'd suggest popping them in an oven or an air fryer. The various flavors were mixed well. And I didn't feel stuffed after eating the salad which is a plus for me. In order to make it a more complete meal, I paired the salad with the original chia seed pudding for a boost of protein (although I read that they coat the cauliflower in chickpea flour). I think the meal + the chia pudding in total could've been about 45 carbs. read more

When ordering for a large group of people I wasnt able to ask them to label the dishes via the website or even call the restaurant without just speaking to an AI robot and not a human being. Updating my review. I love the food here. You can't go wrong! BUT, the last six times I've ordered, they've always left something to big off the bowl and forgotten to give sauce. My group ordered multiple items today and the bowls now include salted cauliflower, rather than the regular kind with great taste. It doesn't taste good and when they don't give you sauces, it is a cauliflower, veggie, and rice bowl. I texted their customer support who never got back to me. Really disappointed with the changes and the fact that the orders are never correct. You'll likely enjoy what you get, but unfortunately it won't be what you ordered. Cool spot for Korean cuisine inspired bowls that are friendly for many different dietary restrictions like gluten free and vegan! The owner is also really looking to improve their business and learn, and texts after your order to take feedback about anything directly, which really stood out to me! I ordered the Korean Hot Chicken bowl which had steamed bamboo rice, hot/sweet crispy chicken, kale, pineapple, red/green onions, and a gochujang sauce. The chicken was well breaded, and I like the combination of flavors and texture in the bowl. Also got the Korean BBQ Cauliflower wings. I'm not vegan/vegetarian, so it of course doesn't match up to real wing texture necessarily, but the sauce was still really accurate. I did give feedback to the owner about improving the texture of these to be crispier if possible. It's def a hard dish to stay crispy for takeout though, which I understand. If you like poke bowls, burrito bowls, or any other similar types of casual bowls, you'll probably enjoy this! Wow, finally found a place serving Korean style food that is GF. We ordered the Korean BBQ cauliflower and the hot Korean chicken bowl. The star of the order was definitely the bbq cauliflower. It was crispy without being over battered and the sauce was delicious (reminded me of a mild General Tso 's sauce). I will definitely be getting this again. The hot Korean chicken bowl was also very tasty (reminded me of a sweet and sour chicken). I was expecting a bit more spice but it was really good. Food was ready quickly, very filling and packaged great . My only complaint is it is in a weird building that just says food pick up and doesn't really list that it is moonbowls, so that was a bit confusing. Ok I leave a review once every few years and I feel a little scammed so I'm going to offer and opportunity for redemption. There is nothing Korean about these bowls and it's obvious someone with a very mild palate created these dishes. I had the tofu with cauliflower rice bowl and if you're going to do tofu soft and cold, you better make it flavorful. Every topping was in bare bones. The Fresno chilies were raw which I love a pepper but at least roast them a bit. The caramelized onions were too think and not caramelized enough. The cauliflower is just that steamed! And not even dry like rice. It's steamed and wet with no flavor, I don't even think black pepper was used. It's so wet that it's soaked through my bowl. The sauce that came with it was some kind of Mayo and I'm glad I got hot sauce with the other item. The free chicken I got through Uber eats was better but it still just felt off and lackluster. The best thing was the gochujang which wasnt even made by the restaurant It has all the makings of greatness but just isn't there Healthy doesn't mean bland and honestly I don't believe a korean made this and it should not be called Korean food. They market this restaurant as "healthy" but I guess that's relative these days? Another example of the "healthy" menu items is the battered and fried cauliflower appetizer. There are several businesses within one building. Once you order online, you go in to pick up your food from a locker. The tablets they have for self service are not intuitive, but decent enough. Zero human interaction. Not sure what you're supposed to do if you're missing something in your bag. Our order was not exactly right (didn't get a couple of add ons that we paid for). Called the restaurant and were told we'd receive an email within the next 24 hours.. that time has passed and nothing yet.
