For a small, independent neighborhood liquor store, I am not sure you could ask for much more. The owner, Sam, is a genuinely nice guy. For a small space, they have a reasonably good selection. Their prices are fair considering you are paying for the convenience of being next to a grocery store, and rent is more expensive in those locations. Moondance has a decent selection but not as big or varied as other liquor stores around town. Their prices seem higher than the liquor stores that I frequently go to. They are conveniently located right by Sprouts supermarket so you can almost do a one stop shop for groceries and liquor! read more

Neighborhood liquor store with a good variety and decent sales. The owner, Sam, has amazing customer service and always is great when talking with him. Now the kids he has running the place while he's gone need some customer service training. One of the kids who waits on us on a regular basis, ID's us every time with an attitude. I, at age 40 with my close in age boyfriend, were recently denied a sale because my ID was in the car. He refused to service us even when I said I'd walk to the car to obtain my ID. Poor customer service never wins in Fort Collins. Sam's club liquor store has items at more of a discount & ALWAYS amazing customer service....go there! read more

I went in with a VALID DRIVERS LICENSE from another state, the states name is in blue on the top of the ID. A small man wearing glasses behind the register pulls out this running out of ink ID book that makes it look purple and tells me he is not comfortable with my ID even though I also showed him my credit card with matching signatures and names but he still wasn't comfortable. Awful if you have an out of state ID, I have had decent experiences here but this was awful and rude. It's not my fault your printer ran out of ink for that states page BE BETTER. read more

Decent selection for a store of its size. to be expected of a neighborhood liquor store. Most of the know brands but not much variance. Asked the staff about a few items to see if they had them to which they said they didn't. I went to look for alternates to each item and found each item they said they didn't have. When I cam to the counter with the items, the cashier seemed unfazed by the fact they didn't check and they did in fact have the items. In a city with many liquor stores, I will probably pass on this one and choose instead to visit Wilburs or the new Craft Beer Cellar in Old Town. read more

They seem to employ college age kids who find it funny to be extremely rude to the customers. I was in there last weekend and they were absolutely horrible to the couple in front of me. And the last time I was in there, the boy behind the counter was eating his dinner and didn't even bother to ask if I needed help. Shop somewhere else. read more

Knowledgeable and friendly staff who always greet us and offer assistance. There are bigger liquor stores in town with larger selections but no where is as genuinely service oriented and friendly. The owner always talks to our children. This place is small town, true Fort Collins. read more
