This spot is so cute and cozy on the inside, I can't believe I didn't stop by sooner! There is ample seating although there is not much parking available. Prepare for a short walk if you park in the overflow parking at City Hall a block away--although, I did visit when snow was blocking several of the parking spots. I ordered off the Valentines menu- a red velvet mocha. It was neither red nor very different from a typical latte but I enjoyed it! I want to visit again when it's warmer and the Book Bus nextdoor is open! This is a great spot definitely worth your visit. read more

They have a really cool vintage clothing store on one side, coffee on the next and a connecting bookstore right next door. It is literally the perfect cafe'. I took my daughter there for a coffee date and it was a wonderful first time experience! I got the moonflower latte and it was delicious. Both of our pastries were amazing, the perfect amount of softness with flakey edges. Pictured is the fig and goat cheese hand pie. This place is not close to where I live but I have been three times now because the lavender haze latte is so smooth and delicious (oat milk version). I've also tried the black cat latte and the pancake latte. All were good. Black cat tastes like blackberry pie and the pancake tastes like cinnamon pancake breakfast, very warm and cozy for fall. I've also had the coffee cake muffin and chocolate chip espresso scone. Both a bit dry for my liking but still had good flavor - better after warming them. The service is friendly and the cafe/shop is cute and clean. They have used clothing, shoes, and other items for sale as well. Some interesting vintage finds but also some random things thrown in there from brands like Allegra K which is a cheap store on Amazon. I wasn't impressed with the store or resale prices. But I love the lattes so I'll keep going back when I can! read more

Great coffee. I ordered a oat milk vanilllatte. I loved that it was not too sweet. Perfect blend of espresso, steamed milk and vanilla syrup! The space is very inviting as well. There is an area to sit, work/study/chill/enjoy your beverage. There is also a nice book shop and a small shop to buy some local art and clothing. They have "real" drinkware for the in-house orders and for to-go, they use 100%bamboo drinkware. +100 points for these sustainable practices! This coffee shop is connected to a book store which is a great combo. It shares a small parking lot. The bookstore hours are 11-3. The coffee shop is super cute with a chill relaxing vibe. There are lots of places to sit and read or work or meet up to chat with a friend. There is a small shop with clothes and assorted mugs and other items for sale. The service was friendly and knowledgable. I decided to try the cinnamon pancake latte with almond milk. I liked it, I mostly taste the cinnamon but there are some lighter notes that follow. Nice place! The description of "boho" aesthetic seems spot on. We enjoyed a tasty drink (iced latte and the apple pie latte) and took a couple of scones to go. There was a small case filled to the brim with pastries to choose from. Staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. We had wandered away from the counter, but rather than call out our names, the server brought our drinks over to us. Nice! Moonflower is unique in that it is a coffee shop and shop for a small collection of a curated thrift items (clothing and decor) as well as some new items. Fun to look around while waiting for your coffee. Lots of seating and tables in the second room. There is an open door to the book shop next door, which is always a bonus! We parked in the small lot in front and it looks like there is also some street parking. read more

Moonflower might be a great place to grab a cuppa and gab with friends. But, I felt out of place. Pros: Latte: the smoothest tasting latte ever! Layout: being able to browse books, clothing, etc makes one want to linger. Cons: Parking - one of the reasons I will not go out of my way to return to Moonflower. Pretty sure I parked somewhere I wasn't supposed to, but no signage to designate otherwise. Vibe - this is for the hipster type. I felt out of place and like I stuck out. Flavor - my rosemary vanilla latte neither tasted nor smelled of either. Also the latte art game was awkward? I'd rather they not try at all, as opposed to the mess that arrived at my table. So much joy exuding from Moonflower Coffee! As soon as you park you're greeted with a clean outside aesthetic; inside are a few ladies full of enthusiasm and great customer service. I was thrilled to see a London Fog on the menu. It was yummy. I'll be back to try the London Fog with lavender syrup, I totally dropped the ball on ordering but it is worth the return visit for sure! Luckily I snagged a bag of $1 chocolate biscotti, the bite sized pieces were crunchy and dipped in dark chocolate... so good. Before sitting down on the comfy couches to read a book, I perused the connected shops of consignment on the left and the Cincy Book Bus on the right. I fell in love with the Book Bus, check out the reviews on their listing! To my surprise, the lovely ladies making my London Fog brought it over to the Cincy Book Bus where they allowed me to continue looking around. Shopping WHILE sipping my tea= perfection. Literally all the joy in the world was brought to me during my first-but-certainly-not-last visit. They were all so sweet and kind! The clothing there was super pretty and the espresso was really good! Shots were poured amazingly and interior is pretty. Only thing is I wish the espresso was regular espresso and not flavored... but that's obviously not my choice as I'm not the owner. Should've gotten a caramel latte.
