How have I never reviewed Square Mile Coffee?! It's one of my favorite neighbor spots! First and foremost, the coffee is great. They serve La Terza coffee and many of the syrups are made in house. It's the type of place you go to where half the people that walk in the door know one another and greet each other with a smile and a hug. They've got several food options, primarily breakfast sandwiches and pastries. The coffee cake is especially yummy and also made in-house. What a unique spot that I'm glad I stumbled upon! My mom and I were wanting to get coffee someplace nearby home and Square Mile came up on my Google suggestions. I have never spent much time in Mount Healthy and was pleasantly surprised by the cute strip that the coffee shop is on. There is plenty of parking outside on the street. The Square Mile building is unique in that it was an old gas station. It maintains its charm and cool architecture, and there are some photos inside of what the gas station used to look like in operation! Currently, the decor and vibes are cozy, clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of seating and the free Wi-Fi information was posted on each table, which made it super easy. The summer menu was so tempting... Everything looked so good, but I settled on a strawberry Matcha drink that was delicious and very beautiful and presentation! My mom got the toasted coconut mocha and commented it was just the right amount of coconut - not too sweet! I already want to go back to try the other things on the menu! They seem to have some of the more unique drinks I've seen around town this summer as well as a classic menu of espresso drinks also. I already told my husband that we should go back! This coffee shop is nestled in Mt healthy. It's very inviting however the customer service wasn't the best. Being short or pointing where an item is to a patron comes off rude. Rather it's your first time there or their 30th. It's street parking and a small lot in the back for convience. I ordered the matcha honey latte. It wasn't as sweet as I liked but I'll know that for next time. The matcha was good. And so was the blueberry muffin. Having it heated was best, otherwise great work space or a good morning coffee run. read more

We were over in the west side of town to check out a plant nursery, and decided to check out a coffee joint while we were in the area: Square Mile Coffee. Stepped into a cool little space with vintage ambiance -- love the beveled glass windows at the back of the main room. We ordered an iced matcha and an iced vanilla latte, plus a zucchini bread slice. Drinks were delicious; zucchini bread good (not very zucchini-y tho). Staff was friendly and efficient. There were several tables, all occupied but we were on a plant mission anyway. Parking available on the street and looks like there's a lot around back. Give this place a try! read more

They have everything I look for when it comes to a locally-owned, neighborhood coffee shop. Free off street parking - check! Cute patio - check! Free wifi and plenty of outlets, double check! I could keep going but I'm sure you get the picture. This is the place you get an amazing coffee and chill. Serving locally roasted La Terra coffee in their massive espresso machine, the coffee house is smaller than most others around but it's uber cozy and charming. The vibes are just "relax and sip". They have a small bespoke amount of bites too, from this addictive coffee cake to an excellent breakfast sandwich. The coffee cake is like crack it's so good. They serve their coffee and food (if you stay of course) in real breakable cups and plates. And in coffee house fashion none of them really match which makes it even better. Even when they are busy and the place is full, the baristas still take the time to make cute little latte art without even being asked to do so. Just one more thing that makes your day. The staff is amazing, and deserves their well earned tips. This place is go good it's part of my weekly routine now. Can't say enough good about this place. I wanted to try this local coffee shop and I must say they are definitely a 10/10. I got the Sweet Vanilla Cold Brew (House Cold Brew, Vanilla syrup with Vanilla sweet cream) which was fantastic. I also tried the ham egg and cheese on a croissant. Which was amazing!!!! If you are ever in town look no further this is your place to get some good coffee and a breakfast sandwich! The sweetest little coffee shop in the heart of Mt.Healthy! My bestie and I were in need of a friend date to catch up and she suggested this spot. It's been on my list to visit and is less than 10 minutes from home. It used to be a garage! They've done a beautiful job transforming it into the sweet space it is with a counter, several small tables inside as well as outdoor spaces, too. They have a seasonal coffee menu with more interesting and fun drinks than you may find at your more commercialized coffee shops. Once our order was taken we didn't have to wait king for our drinks. I opted for a coconut latte because it was rainy and I was cold but needed a summer flavor. It was so well balanced, not too sweet and perfect temperature. This is easily my favorite coffee shop in Cincinnati. The workers/owner are such sweet people and always make me feel at home. The drinks and pastries are stellar quality, and they always have a creative rotating seasonal menu. I'm obsessed with the aesthetics of the place and think I might like to redo my basement to look similar-- industrial with some modern and cozy touches. We stayed in an Airbnb a short walk away and quickly became regulars for the few weeks we were nearby. Creative and tasty drinks that weren't too sweet but still flavorful, and even the drip coffee had great flavor without being too bitter or burnt like drip coffee is at so many places. Always a nice mix of people here, ranging from old friends meeting up to people working/studying, and they also have very fast free wifi. But possibly the best part is they carry Baudry croissants! These are the best croissants you'll probably ever encounter this side of the Atlantic, especially the almond one. This place was the perfect find! My husband and I were staying at an Airbnb in the neighborhood and were just walking distance from this place ( actually very dangerous as I wanted to walk over everyday!) A cute space with laidback baristas. Friendly atmosphere, most everyone who comes in seems to know each other with plenty of smiles and hellos. We were obviously the new kids on the block but still felt welcomed. Coffee was good, my go tos were Chai lattes (really any lattes) and dirty Chai. They also like to get creative with some tasty flavors, where they are listed on a large menu on the wall and change them every month. They have some food options like ham and cheese croissants, other croissants and some pasties. They bake some of their food items but also have some delivered from local bakeries. My favorite is an Almond Croissant and wow I've never had a croissant that tasted this good! They will warm it up for you oh so perfectly. So flakey on the outside and almost cake like on the inside. Plenty of parking in the back and along the street. I walked in during the myths of the covid-19 outbreak pandemic, and couldn't have been more impressed with the way the staff here handled it. Everything was clean, they used sanitation wipes before touching anything, including my credit card, they wipe the screen before having me sign, and after. They took care of all the cups and sweeteners, milk etcetera. They were really doing everything they could to maintain the safety for the workers and the customers. Plus it was a giant cup of locally roasted and brewed coffee, for $3. That's a pretty good price, the fact it was really tasty helps a lot too. They also carry a assortment of baked goods from Rose and Mary bakery down in Covington. If you not had any of those baked goods I'll let you know now they're really good! it's great to finally have a local coffee spot in Mount healthy, even better to have a really good one read more

There is plenty of seating and a homey feeling as soon as you enter the door. Although there are several closer coffee shops available, I choose to drive the 20-minute trek because it is worth it.
