Starting eating it, but here is a photo.

We had takeout. BBQ is solid, the pork sandwich was alright, ribs were the highlight (some of the best around) and the brisket was great. Sides were a little bland and Jalapeño Mac and cheese was surprisingly bland. The beans and the creamed corn were okay. The cost was rather high for the portion sizes, which were smaller than expected, $50 (including tip). The sad part for us was that they forgot to pack our banana pudding, which was really disappointing considering the price point and that we live 25 minutes away. Meat was 4 stars, but the sides and forgetting to pack our dessert made this a 3 star experience overall. Really, really sad about the pudding.

I am from The Hill Country of TX. Llano TX area home of Coopers BBQ. The County line is an hour from my home. So I know TX BBQ. Often will go to Lockhart for the Best around. Moonies is ok. Brisket fell apart had to use a fork with sauce to eat. The brisket should be springy and slight pressure applied to pull apart. This was fair to say the least. The potato salad had no flavor. Cole slaw unedible it tasted off. Toasted bread is for Italian food. BBQ requires white bread two slices minimum. I did not have pork as that is Eastern style not TX BBQ. I did have the sausage it was good. Would have liked it a bit spicier with jalapeño as an option. I believe for a Georgia pallet this place is fine. Its kind of like the Mexican bull Horns hanging at register. Its nice but its no TX Longhorn.

The folks are super nice. Good BBQ. Good baked beans--they mixed apples in. Sweet and interestingly good! Their fried okra is on point. They have inside and outside seating. Might be a little noisy outside because of the road. Inside was quieter and had the great smell of BBQ in the air.

Great real Texas BBQ. If you like a laid back rustic Ambiance with real good Texas bbq this is the place you have to try. You order get your food and pay at the counter. Very friendly. But the food is what your their for. We hat the Brisket, sausage and pulled pork. Outstanding. They have a number of sides that complement the main dishes. Give them a try.

Have lived in Buford for several years now and one of the perks is being so close to Moonies which is where we get our sides when we grill and smoke homemade ribs. Their sides are delicious and are ready within a few minutes of a call in pick up order. We love the ribs and brisket here but we have been mostly smoking our own ribs lately so we have exclusively been getting our sides from Moonies for family meals. Prices are a little high but the quality more than makes up for it. Service and ambiance of the restaurant is great and always a pleasure to visit. 5 stars and two thumbs up!

We were in the surrounding area, found this place via Yelp and decided to try. The girl working at the register was very friendly. She recommended us to buy by the pounds and then order side dishes. She said we'd get more value for our money. We followed her recommendation and ordered the brisket, pulled pork, ribs and a few side dishes (French fries, green beans, special brisket chili, and banana pudding). My favorite is the pulled pork. Brisket is not bad at all, but I've had better. This place has the best green beans I've ever tasted. I highly recommend this place whenever you are in the nearby area.

Loved this place!! The meat was delicious. People were nice. Great feel to the place. Like an old bbq shack and it smells DELICIOUS the moment you open the door. Only giving it 4 stars because of the sides. I liked the jalapeño Mac (not too spicy for me, a spice wimp!) and the creamed corn was good just not great. I was used to the more crushed corn in creamed corn so that threw me off a little bit, and the Mac was good but I wished it was a little more creamy. Good bbq though (and sauce options)! I may be trying some new sides next time though.

Brisket was tender and the oak flavor really tasted good in the bark.

The BBQ was a good for trying to replicate Texas BBQ. As a live long resident of Texas I found that the pork was better than the brisket.

We sat upstairs with a group of ladies playing mah jong which was cool to see. The host Gabby was nice, after greeting us we were seated in a booth and began looking at the menu. Our server was Taylor, who was friendly, helpful, and really good at her job. Never needed anything bc she was great! I started with one of their blackberry ciders, my brother got a sour. For an app we ordered a giant pretzel and it was delicious. Whole grain mustard and gooey cheese were served on the side. Hard not to want to eat more than one. For entrees I went with a Reuben with a side of tater tots. The Reuben was tasty, they shred the corned beef up so it's easier to eat, and you get consistent bites every time. Their 1000 island dressing is KILLER. It's definitely homemade and I ordered a side for my tots. Nephew got the salmon BLT with sweet potato fries, and my brother got the Philly cheesesteak with tots as well. Once he tried my suggestion of dipping in the dressing, he got a side as well. The GM Andrew came by and checked on us. Service level is great here, made us feel welcome and happy we were in here. Since I'm technically on the clock I had to head out after two ciders. I could see myself being here for hours, if I'm not careful. Support small owned businesses! Thanks to the team and especially Taylor for a great lunch today/

Crossroads Bar & Grille in Flowery Branch just nailed two lunch classics better than most places…read moreI've tried--the Cuban and the Reuben are absolute winners. Stopped in at 5900 Spout Springs Rd for a casual lunch and left seriously impressed. These sandwiches aren't just thrown together; they're loaded and executed perfectly. The Cuban (marinated pork loin, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, spicy mustard, and pickles on a toasted hoagie roll) was a flavor bomb. Look at that cross-section--juicy, tender pork layered thick with ham, melty cheese, and that perfect pickle crunch cutting through the mustard kick. The bread toasted up golden and held everything together without getting soggy. Paired it with fries and a side of ketchup, and it felt like something straight out of a great Cuban spot. Huge portions that actually satisfy. The Classic Reuben on toasted marbled rye was equally stacked: thinly sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and 1000 Island dressing. The bread had that ideal crisp exterior with a soft bite, and the fillings were generous and well-balanced--no dry bites here. Came with crispy fries and a side of creamy sauce that tied it all together beautifully. Service was friendly and quick, the atmosphere is that perfect relaxed neighborhood vibe (great for watching a game or just catching up), and the prices are fair for the quality and size you get. In a world full of average bar sandwiches, Crossroads delivers the real deal with fresh ingredients and obvious care. Whether you're craving the tangy, savory Reuben or the bright, porky Cuban, both hit the spot hard. I'll definitely be back. If you're in Flowery Branch, do not sleep on these sandwiches. Highly recommend--5 stars.

"There's something magical about rooftops. I would like to say I planned the perfect date, but as some of the best things in life, this was just an impromptu visit to cap off an already great evening. Outside of being on the rooftop, the bar itself is upscale yet approachable, service was fast and friendly. Being a bit of a self engrandized home bartender I'm a bit critical when out of my home lab, but their Smoked Old Fashioned wasn't bad. ("Wasn't bad" really means very good.") While I don't love the prices and hate paying a cover charge, when you throw in live music, a great vibe, and a view, I can't really complain. The owner made an announcement that whoever tipped the band $10 would get a free drink, and since most drinks were over $15 I thought that was cool on many levels. Will definitely be back to The Rooftop!

We walked around and finally ran into a waitress who told us to sit anywhere we wished inside or outside. The only area festive was inside a closed igloo and no heaters were on outdoors which was just a tad too cool for me despite the super nice weather that day. It would have been so to sit outside but without the warmth of the heaters we headed inside. We placed our order and explained we were just there for a pre-dinner drink and wanted to check out the venue so we didn't leave our tab open but we were quickly served the fabulous taking drinks on their menu(s). The Old Fashioned was on the regular menu and the Russian was on their seasonal tabletop menu. Server was very nice and took photos for some ladies we met. The only reason I can't give them a 5 star is they claim they are big on hospitality but yet we were not acknowledged upon arrival. Many restaurants and even some retail stores have a way to ensure they say hello/welcome immediately when you enter and without a hostess - the mindset should be that the bar or wait staff have a way to immediately say hello or welcome so those who have never been feel welcomed as well as those who frequently come. It would be nice to have a more festive decor for the holidays but that didn't affect my review; just a statement to say that the entire Sugar Hill area was pumping and themed with the holiday spirit then we walked in the only area decorated was not even accessible nor was it offered as an option to enjoy.
