a hamburger and fries in a styrofoam container

I stop for my routine & was disappointed. The service was slow and unfriendly. My fries were hard, wings were good but smaller and Burger was excellent. This visit the place was unacceptable. Towels or something under fryers and nasty smells near drink fountain/hallway/bathroom. Sorry but no longer in my rotation.

I only had the wings but it was very good. The garlic Parmesan is flavorful and the medium is actually pretty hot. One thing to be aware the menus posted here are very old and wing prices are double now. 18 count wings only is $24.

Tiny sign, not near register, indicating the price of sauces. The sauces are a tiny cup not even 1/2 full.

I have been coming here for at least 5 years when visiting this side of the lake. Especially during the pandemic because I try to patronize the small non-chain businesses. They aren't open Sundays, which is inconvenient but I guess its a little family business. Most of the time the food is pretty good but I have to admit I usually only get the SF4 (popcorn shrimp , drink, cole slaw, hush puppies). However lately the quality went down and the shrimp were always burned. I think because they don't listen well when you place your order or maybe there is a language barrier. There has been inconsistency in the cocktail sauce and recently they started packaging their own. Usually the little cups are only 1/2 full but they will sometimes provide an extra. Today I visited and found that they no longer have the cole slaw and hushpuppies included. Not only that but the price went up a lot. I think possibly $4.00. It was a significant jump! The cocktail sauce was 1/3 full and almost frozen. When I went back to get another one, she pointed to a tiny sign that said extras would now be 75 cents. (see photo). They gave me one and it was only 1/2 full. The one thing I can say was better was that they either didn't burn the shrimp or they switched vendors. They were very good and the breading was flaky and tasty, so there's that. Not sure I will return. For this price, its a better deal to eat at Coastal Breeze, which is a real restaurant with table service. I don't know I will return.

After sitting in the escape-from-Atlanta traffic through Gwinnett, I was struck by an overwhelming urge for a milkshake. Checked the GPS, saw a place with "Shake" in the name, and I was on my way... This place is odd. It's in a strip mall. They have an interestingly jury-rigged drive-through. I decided to try going inside, girding myself for the typically revolting grease pit smell... And was greeted by a *good* meat smell. I'm sure it's typical fed-lot, corn-fed beef, but it actually smelled good. They advertise using peanut oil, so I'd bet the burgers have that nice crust... If I weren't overheating and very unhungry, I would have swallowed my ethics and their meat. I could do without the religious items everywhere, but that's just my preference. And the milk shake? Mixed right in front of me. Satisfied that deep urge.

My mother loves the crispy onion rings and slaw dogs. I enjoy the fresh fried whiting fish.

Ok if you are in a pinch. Owners don't speak good English so my order was messed up. Food was ok.

This place simply has some of the best ever burgers, fries, and real ice cream milkshakes. It's a small place with big taste.

Crossroads Bar & Grille in Flowery Branch just nailed two lunch classics better than most places…read moreI've tried--the Cuban and the Reuben are absolute winners. Stopped in at 5900 Spout Springs Rd for a casual lunch and left seriously impressed. These sandwiches aren't just thrown together; they're loaded and executed perfectly. The Cuban (marinated pork loin, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, spicy mustard, and pickles on a toasted hoagie roll) was a flavor bomb. Look at that cross-section--juicy, tender pork layered thick with ham, melty cheese, and that perfect pickle crunch cutting through the mustard kick. The bread toasted up golden and held everything together without getting soggy. Paired it with fries and a side of ketchup, and it felt like something straight out of a great Cuban spot. Huge portions that actually satisfy. The Classic Reuben on toasted marbled rye was equally stacked: thinly sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and 1000 Island dressing. The bread had that ideal crisp exterior with a soft bite, and the fillings were generous and well-balanced--no dry bites here. Came with crispy fries and a side of creamy sauce that tied it all together beautifully. Service was friendly and quick, the atmosphere is that perfect relaxed neighborhood vibe (great for watching a game or just catching up), and the prices are fair for the quality and size you get. In a world full of average bar sandwiches, Crossroads delivers the real deal with fresh ingredients and obvious care. Whether you're craving the tangy, savory Reuben or the bright, porky Cuban, both hit the spot hard. I'll definitely be back. If you're in Flowery Branch, do not sleep on these sandwiches. Highly recommend--5 stars.

What a truly memorable dining experience. Not many restaurants manage to combine the charm of a…read morehospital cafeteria with the personal touch of having the waitress complain about the customers directly to them, but this place pulls it off beautifully. Our server seemed to feel we were an inconvenience simply for existing, which added a refreshing level of tension to the meal. It's not every day you get the unique opportunity to listen to your waitress gripe about you while she's still serving your table. Customer engagement at its finest. The food was equally impressive. The shrimp arrived thoughtfully pre-chilled -- perhaps to keep things exciting for the digestive system. Within minutes it gave me a stomach ache, which I assume was the chef's creative interpretation of "interactive dining." My brother ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which had such a powerful effect that he ended up throwing up shortly afterward. It's rare to see food provoke such a strong physical response, so clearly the kitchen knows how to make an impression. Overall, if you've ever wondered what it would be like to combine cafeteria-level cuisine with openly hostile service and a dash of gastrointestinal adventure, this is absolutely the place to go. Truly unforgettable.

I rolled in there hungry enough to eat the bumper off a truck and ordered the meatloaf ciabatta sandwich with hand-cut fries, and sweet mercy... somebody's grandma must be back there running the kitchen because that thing was borderline life-changing. The meatloaf was thick, juicy, and had that "somebody's been perfecting this recipe since 1978" flavor going on. The ciabatta held it together like a champ, and those hand-cut fries? Lord have mercy. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside -- the kind you keep saying "just one more" until suddenly the basket's empty and you're thinking about ordering another. Now here's the real kicker: they've got gluten-free options, which means I can bring my wife this weekend without her looking at the menu like it personally offended her. That alone deserves a round of applause. So if you're anywhere near Buford and your stomach starts talking louder than your good sense, do yourself a favor and stop by. Just be warned: You might leave full, happy... and already planning your next visit before you even get to the parking lot.
