I only go here for the Aprés nails- they have a gentler application than other nail enhancements and are lighter. During this visit we got a full set Short- square- black French tip- they charged $65, which is pretty standard. Pedicure- BodiPure Reflex Keratin- $38- they do charge $10 to remove previous gel polish. The service uses the little cheap foot masks you can buy for $1- $5. The hot stone massage was nice. Truly don't know why places charges $10- $15 to remove gel as they don't use any additional products just fill off the older color and it's faster than doing a soak off. I brought my own polish for my toes- as I hate the $10 up charge for gel which again- saves them time because you cure them and not wait for the polish to dry. read more

I have really loved this place in the past! Always decent pricing for how good the quality was, and my Gel X always lasted 3+ weeks , still looking relatively fresh by the end. This week was first time back in a while, and I just went with the first available stylist because Bryan was out of town. I got medium-length gel x with chrome powder and no design, the same on all nails. I was expecting some sort of prep or manicuring of my cuticles and nails, as my nails were ineven lengths and I had lots of hangnails and excess skin from picking (which is the reason I was getting my nails done in the first place, it is impossible to pick skin with thick/dull extensions!) The only prep was sanding down the top layer of nails, which did help some with the excess skin near the cuticle When I left, I noticed many of my cuticles were flooded with gel, some of the side walls weren't painted, and the nail shape was generally what I asked for, but every nail looks a little different from the others. I really love the color I went with, and the technician was very kind and accommodating to my preferences, so I paid with tip and left, as I didn't feel like it was worth making a fuss about. I went home and trimmed what I could of the flooded gel myself with cuticle nippers Now, 2 days later, nearly all of my nails have the gel polish chipping off the gel x apres tip, and there is visible lifting on more than a few of the sidewalls due to the gel flooding :(. There are visible bubble shapes in the top coat, and you can easily see the black polish under the chrome due to the chipping. I am only in town for a short while and likely will not have the chance to go back and fix it. They still look beautiful from others' perspective, but for $80+ I would hope the same is true close up. I know I could likely go back in to have them fix it, but I am concerned with the health of my nail beds, and one visit to the salon alone involves enough sanding and buffing of the nail that I am not sure if it will be worth it. Overall, I did have a lovely time while I was there: nice music, salt scrub, and the tech was very gentle with my hands. The result was not what I had experienced in the past, though. I came here with a friend because it's her rsalon. We called to make an appointment and still had to wait 30 minutes when we got there. Then, once I sat down for a pedicure she waited over an hour for a nail tech to see her, even with an appointment. Two girls walked in and they took them over my friend with the appointment. The guy doing my pedicure was really pushy trying to upsell me on a more expensive pedicure package and gel after I already said what I wanted. He made me put my feet in before he added the water so the foot tub was freezing the entire pedicure. He barely took any circles off and just rubbed the lotion in - no massage, not even with the hot stones he insisted I upgraded too. They also don't have their colors on display so when it was time to paint he asked me what color and only handed me about half of their options. We let the staff know we were upset with our experience and all they said was "sorry some of our staff are on vacation." Which is fine, but just say we can't accommodate you today then. I was so excited when I went with a friend to get a mani/ pedi each. Unfortunately, the experience was a bit disappointing. We were not offered anything to drink or really shown around. So they told me to pick a color and I was not sure where the colors were. Service was slow and not the most skilled. I had one person working on my manicure and one on my pedicure at the same time and I was still there for almost 3 hours. Asked for a deep french and most of my nails still have a pretty narrow french style. Also did not receive the rest of the hand treatment I was supposed to get as they were closing and rushed us out even though the entire experience began at 4:00pm. Technician did not seem comfortable with the style and asked me to move from the massage chairs to the nail tables to make it easier for her. I've only had the gel on for three days and they are already chipping. My friend was also not very happy with her pedicure and her toe was also sliced during the pedicure. She also did not like the french they did on her toes and her manicure had gaps near the cuticle as well as not enough coats of polish. The salon is clean, the staff is nice and attentive, but the quality I find is not as up to par as it was when I first started going. I'm so upset that my French pedicure is just falling apart after 1 day. The French manicure looks really nice, but the nail tech didn't "close" the tip of the nail with polish. For the best manicures I get that last a while, the mail tech is usually closed the tip by putting just a little polish on the very end to close any cracks for potential air pockets to get in and cause chipping. I tried to explain that to this nail tech and she just didn't understand. Instead she filed the underneath of the mail after completing the manicure with gel polish. I know I could always go back and ask them to fix, which I have done already with past services, but it's just an inconvenience to have to go back and ask them to fix a mani or pedi that shouldn't have done. I visited this salon at the suggestion of other friends of mine, and the glowing reviews online. I booked on Booksy for the same day, and the appointment was changed by the business for 2 days later. I called and they were able to fix it, but who I requested wasn't available which was slightly frustrating. I always try to book ahead for them to have someone available, instead of doing a walk-in service. Customer service wise, they were lovely! The techs who did my manicure were kind and very friendly. Skill, however, wasn't the best. The BIGGEST issue; I was cut twice on both of my big toes, which left a gash and bled the entire appointment in my cuticles. She apologized profusely, but no efforts were made to notify someone, or ensure it was cleaned up properly before continuing. I worry that it'll become infected and I'll end up spending money on a doctor's appointment. I had booked and UCF special for $53 (including a manicure and pedicure) and it ended up being $90 which was extremely unexpected. I did ask for Gel which definitely costs a bit more, but not 40 dollars extra. At that point I just paid since I wanted to leave. I never get my nails done, and this something I was excited to treat myself with. I didn't bother asking what the charges were since I just wanted to get home and treat the cuts in my cuticles to prevent an infection. I wish this place lived up to the reviews for me, but getting cut multiple times during my appointment was the point that I draw the line. My friend and I came on a Saturday morning for UCF Signature pedicures. We were greeted promptly and were assisted in choosing our polishes. We decided to do regular polish, not gel polish. The pedicure was overall lackluster. The techs seemed to just go through the motions and lacked attention to detail. I know this spot only opened up in the last year and I saw that most reviews were for manicure work, but I didn't think I would have such an odd experience getting a pedi. For the UCF Signature pedi that I received, there was no additive in the foot bath... it was just water. My nails were not cleaned, and my rounded nail shaping was not very good. Salt scrub was nice while it lasted. Paraffin treatment was relaxing, although some of it spilled out of the bag and into the tub as my tech was putting it on. I thought ok, maybe the experience wasn't great but at least my toenails will look cute. Wrong. On application of the topcoat, the color was smudged and noticeably lifted off like 3 toes on one foot and my big toe on the other foot. I spoke up about my big toe but didn't say anything about my other toes. I figured if I could see the goofs at my distance, the tech should be able to see them since she is literally face at my feet, but she didn't say anything or she didn't notice. When she redid my big toe, she forgot to apply basecoat and she applied one coat less of color. It is what it is... I just wanted to leave. My tech was nice and personable, good conversation... but I feel like I came for a chat and not a relaxing pedi. I was offered a drink/mimosa/water etc. Liners were used in the tub, files and scrub sponge seemed to be disposable. Hygiene and friendliness/hospitality is there. Manis seem to be good here (from other reivews), but I would go elsewhere for a pedi. read more
