Friend had plain cheese and I had a pep, green onion, mushroom. Zero complaints, I loved it. Vibe: easy. The owner (I think) was extremely pleasant and other employee was very kind. It's a small operation, I love that. There's a map on the wall to mark where you're visiting from, local wears like earrings and stickers, and my fave-pics of the community and family. Great place!

I also ordered the bacon, egg and cheese waffle too but couldn't eat it all. Both were super yummy but if you HAVE to choose just one definitely go with chicken and waffles! The gal working the register was super nice and helpful, answering my questions about the menu with patience. I tried the chicken and waffles which are served in a cup with a fork, already cut up, with syrup. I got the combo with a water and chips, hoping to take the chips with me for the bus ride back to Nashville, but unfortunately they were served in a paper dish, not a bag. There was a picnic table outside and a cornhole game. It was cool that its served in a cup because you can walk around with it. I'm really glad I chose to eat at Whiskey Waffle because the food was good, service was good, didn't take long at all, and I was able to maximize my shopping time.

This is a cute little chocolate shop with some fun knick knacks and photo ops -- I especially enjoyed the two sauropods outside, hehe. There's a wide array of mostly chocolate based treats -- classic dipped goodies like Oreos, chocolate covered nuts like cashews and peanuts, chocolate coins, etc., as well as chocolate covered apples and the more-unique chocolate covered popcorn and chocolate covered pork rinds. Their Easter displays were up and some of the Easter goodies were so cute. They also sell ice cream and milkshakes! After browsing for a while, I decided on a chocolate turtle/pecan cluster and some milk chocolate covered cashews. There was only one employee available while I was browsing and she was on the phone with a customer the whole time; she finished about the time I was ready to check out and was effusively apologetic about her lack of attention. I really didn't need any help so it wasn't a big deal at all, but it was nice to feel like she cared! I split the cluster with my husband later and we both enjoyed it just fine. Some bites of pecans still had that faintly woody/dusty taste they get sometimes but it wasn't overwhelming. The milk chocolate covered cashews were also pretty good; the chocolate especially was very creamy. I do wish there'd been a teeny pinch of salt in them or perhaps the cashews had more of a roasted taste, but that didn't stop me from eating them all lol. The slushy was absolutely better in the hot summer day as we walked the property to learn about the history of the origination and the master distillers story. Years of history and purity are what make the whiskey what it is. Enjoyed world wide, and for a good reason. I would have just wished the tour was more centralized around the water tunnel where they show you the demineralization process of the water they use. Probably the coolest spot in Tennessee. Simply a MUST stop and worth the price of the tour. Absolutely loved every bit of it his tour. Worth every ounce of sweat to experience one of my favorite whiskeys! Didn't disappoint, and our tour guide was amazing! Wishing her a happy retirements and a huge thank you for being a school teacher in her county! Absolutely love this!…read more We went on the "Day at Jack" tour and loved every minute. It is as much a classy tasting as it is a personal tour with a phenomenal docent! The joys were the history lesson as well as the process. Then having lunch at Mary Bobo's and the tour of the Squire House were a joy. If you have the time, this is a must! It is absolutely the best distillery tour I have gone on and one of the top 5 tastings I have participated in the world! The knowledge and interaction of the Docent was amazing. From the moment they greet you at the start of your tour all the way to the end of the day, they are engaged and loving it! Our guide, Justin Grogan, has a personal connection to Mr Jack that he shares along the journey and shared a story that is very captivating. It is a must do if you're in Tennessee!
