Russell Stover Chocolate shops are more than just factory outlets. (Although that is a great reason to shop here.) They offer chocolates and fudges that would not do well in the retail market (i.e. break to easy or flavor quality degrades too quickly) as well as refreshing ice cream treats. Almost all the ice cream concoctions have hot fudge, highlighting Russell Stover chocolate but I am not complaining. If you are not going to eat a treat immediately, boxes of chocolate are available. For the budget minded, excess inventory and bloopers fill a quarter of the floor space in the back. When we are road tripping on I-24 this is a great place to stop in for a treat.

Stop here every time i travel through. Yes it is store. What did you expect- a theme park! They serve ice cream and make fudge and candy apples daily. They love to give out free samples as well. They do have a clearance section. I love to pick up goodies for my employees as prizes and at a boy incentives! Plus the restrooms are always spotless. Good spot to take a break from the road. To the person who was upset that they would not allow her support animal. Get over it this is an establishment that serves food. This is not the place to "Train" your service animal. I train guiding eye dogs. I support the managers actions. If you wanna leave, well bye felicia!

This place is cool. I like to buy chocolates on sale(after a holiday) usually half the price or less. They also sell chocolate chunks that aren't in perfect shape on sale. They have different ice cream that can be bought per scoop. And they're delicious. You can sit on their tables and chairs too. They also have this chocolate truffles and fudge. It's beautiful and cool. The chocolates are delicious and my favorite is the dark chocolate sugar free truffles. They're affordable tooo. It was our first time there and they gave us a free box of chocolate. Great!

Great service, lots of yummy options. Pricey though, not surprised. Clean and had the feeling you're in candy land.

This is a cute little chocolate shop with some fun knick knacks and photo ops -- I especially enjoyed the two sauropods outside, hehe. There's a wide array of mostly chocolate based treats -- classic dipped goodies like Oreos, chocolate covered nuts like cashews and peanuts, chocolate coins, etc., as well as chocolate covered apples and the more-unique chocolate covered popcorn and chocolate covered pork rinds. Their Easter displays were up and some of the Easter goodies were so cute. They also sell ice cream and milkshakes! After browsing for a while, I decided on a chocolate turtle/pecan cluster and some milk chocolate covered cashews. There was only one employee available while I was browsing and she was on the phone with a customer the whole time; she finished about the time I was ready to check out and was effusively apologetic about her lack of attention. I really didn't need any help so it wasn't a big deal at all, but it was nice to feel like she cared! I split the cluster with my husband later and we both enjoyed it just fine. Some bites of pecans still had that faintly woody/dusty taste they get sometimes but it wasn't overwhelming. The milk chocolate covered cashews were also pretty good; the chocolate especially was very creamy. I do wish there'd been a teeny pinch of salt in them or perhaps the cashews had more of a roasted taste, but that didn't stop me from eating them all lol. A nice stop for a quick sweet treat :) give them a try!

The entire staff was so patient and kind with my girls. Afterwards, we picked out a few delicious treats and all left smiling ear to ear. The real magic happened after we left. My 4-year old daughter left her absolutely beloved stuffed giraffe in a corner of the bead room and we didn't realize it wasn't in the car until 10 pm at night when we were two hours away in Indiana. I called Bubble Joy at 8 am the next day with little hope as I knew they were closed Mondays and Tuesdays. A very nice young man answered immediately and indicated he would text his manager (Kristen) and ask her. Kristen hadn't seen "Giraffee" but offered to go in on her day off to look. SHE FOUND IT. And shipped it to us the next morning. I cannot describe how grateful I am and how happy she made my 4 year old little girl. Thank you so so much!

Don't think that you'll be finding a lot of bargains at the Russell Stover store - there is a discount area but the majority of the store is full retail price. The store is absolutely filled top to bottom with chocolate but what struck me was that there was a lot of duplication of product. I found the same box of chocolate covered cherries in three sections. There were displays of "chews" in numerous locations throughout the store. Don't get me wrong, there was a wide variety of chocolates but not nearly as much as I initially thought. Also, there wasn't anything really unique - I've seen a majority of these products at one time or another at my local grocery store - and there I can often get them on sale. The discount area was the biggest disappointment. There were boxes of "mistakes" - you have no idea what you'll get - even though the boxes were discounted, I wasn't willing to take a chance on getting a box of icky creams and my husband wasn't willing to risk getting a box of his aversions - coconut, cherries and raisins (though I'd be thrilled with that box AND I wouldn't have to share!). Other items were leftover holiday candy - half off valentines and Easter candy - really? Even at Walgreens, those satin heart boxes will go to 70% off. I didn't leave the store empty handed, come on - we are talking chocolate, but I did leave the store knowing that I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

You can get a shopping cart right in front of the store before coming in if you need one (or you can also grab a small hand basket inside if you prefer). My husband and I stopped by this market yesterday evening, around 5:50 pm. I wanted to see if there was any banchan and other random snacks for our trip. And although this is a small market, there was a fair selection of banchan that I ended up purchasing (japchae, the glass noodle stir fry) and stir fry fish cakes (one of my favorite banchan). I also purchased a few sheet masks since they were only $0.99 (prior to tax) but kind of in a hidden area that I think others may overlook when they browse this small mom and pop store. My husband picked out a few canned drinks and I also ended up purchasing some seaweed flavored snacks. The prices in general, seem to be a little bit more expensive than the prices back home in Los Angeles at my local Korean markets, but that is to be expected. The selection for most items is actually pretty good, considering that this is a small market. But I think overall, it fits the need of most items that you may be looking for at a Korean market (there are also items that are Chinese and few Japanese items here as well, for those interested). After paying for our items, the employee (whom I suspect is one of the owners), was so nice and thanked me for shopping at the store. I enjoyed our visit and would come back if I lived in this area.
