They cleaned up at the end of the day and were respectful of our home. Having a father who was an electrician, I am a pretty tough customer since I know what is needed for most construction jobs. The sub-contractors were top notch as well. The plumbers, electricians, painters, excavator, sheetrockers, insulators, and the tile worker did great jobs and were equally as respectful. I cannot say enough good things about St. Laurent Construction. I looked at over 6 different outfits when deciding on the work to be done on my home. My decision was based not only on the quoted cost but the actual feeling from meeting each potential contractor. St. Laurent was very real and honest. You could not ask for a better situation. As long as you are organized and willing to give a little with regards to schedules, the job will be great. One often forgets that other work is being done simultaneously on other jobs. Had them come out and quote. Cut PVC trim in my raise…read moregarden bed. Supposed to remove all rot on porch. They literally just filled a hole with dap. That it literally rotted even more. 45° Angle cuts where way off a lot of dap fill in. The vynal siding bubbled out in the middle of the front of the house. Had to tell them that a pc was sticking out from the house. Vynal siding still falling off that week and yrs later. Gutters do not have them install gutters. I had a pretty new metal roof. They dropped onto the metal roof on the attached shed. A hole in that. They used purple silicone on blue roof. Contract final payment when complete yet constant looking for more money when the job is incomplete. Gutters they installed had it running down the middle on to the three season porch roof. Instead originally drained down the back. They redid had made this funky hamster maze looking thing with a bunch of elbows. They my other gutters where custom made. That clogged right away with the leaf guards they installed. Guy came and said he saw nothing. They said well said I have to have it cleaned twice a year. Bunch elbows is where it was clogged. So first winter snow ripped off three leaf guards they screwed back in and repeated the following winter. Well I had utterly gutters come out. They said the leaf guards installed are not supposed to be used for metal roofs. MY HOUSE LITERALLY LEAKED IN MY HOUSE DURING A HEAVY RAIN STORM VERY SHORTLY AFTER. THERE GUY SAID TRIED TO TELL MY WIFE IT WAS A PLUMBING ISSUE. CALLED THEM OUT ON IT. SAYING NO CAPS ON TRIM. THAT IF THE HOUSE WAS PROPERLY TYVEK PROPERLY STILL SHOULDN'T LEAK INTO THE HOUSE. THE JOB SUPERVISOR MADEY WIFE GO OVER THE ISSUES WITH THE EMPLOYER.
