All of my tools for my construction company were stolen, they took a $1200.00 Generac power bank out of my truck after being asked not to go in my vehicle again in lieu of payment. They waived all storage due to not releasing the vehicle to me and saying the state police said not to release it to me, when in all actualality the police officer said to only release it to me. Then said when you come bring something to blow your tires up as they are flat from sitting I get there and both back tires are off the rims and the vehicle is totally undrivable. I say well thanks for the heads up I would have come more prepared if you told me what actually was wrong with the tires his response was " Ya well oh well ...." The disrespect was at it's finest. Then when I confronted him about taking all my tools he tried to blame it on being stolen and I'll give him that, that could have been the case but the state police did a inventory as it was stolen and part of a crime. I also believe that the tow company was supposed to do that as well and I asked him if he did and he said very proudly, " No why would I do that" I looked up all the VT laws all company procedures are supposed to be posted with rates and insurance information at storage facility and at the towing company it self. Which none of that was done. He refuses to even give me his insurance information and said his insurance would not be paying for anything. Which I doubt that he even has any to begin with but that I'm not sure of. I will be making it my job to be sure he pays for absolutely everything he/ they stole and my vehicles damages. Which includes two broken tail lights and two rear tires which were only two days old. He tries charging me $300 for the tow $150 a day for storage and a hook up he did an dropped the hook a month before, before I could even get any of my property out of it which is also illegal as stated in the VT laws. I would never recommend this company to anyone as you will not get your vehicle back in good working order and they are ridiculously priced to begin with. The person I dealt with the most was Brent then at the property dealt with even worse I'm not sure of his name but he was a large gentleman with a nasty attitude and disposition. I will say my wife was not very polite to them by any means as she was completely blown away by their actions and condition our vehicle was left in after everything we had already been through.

I'd been searching for this one particular car for quite awhile and was adamant about buying it from a dealership because I'd always had bad luck with used car dealers. When I saw the exact car for sale at Schurman and learned it's part of North Country Ford, I reached out to them. I was really nervous, not only because I am a female with a lack of automotive knowledge, but because the dealership is nearly 500 miles from my house. Talking to Mark Boisclair, however, put me at ease. He was so incredibly patient, answering all my questions and zillions of emails and phone calls promptly. He sold me the car at a great price and was trying to help me arrange transport for it. Eventually I decided it would be quicker, easier and almost the same price to fly to New Hampshire, pick up the vehicle and drive it home. Schurman picked me up at the airport (2 hours away!), worked with me on payment and even helped me with an issue that arose days after the sale. They could have blown me off at this point, but Mark was so responsive, even when I was freaking out a little. Turned about to be nothing much to worry about and still Mark was so kind in his correspondence. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Shortly after that, the battery light started flashing. Then I found out it was already due for an oil change. This was supposedly a "fully inspected" and "ready-to-go" vehicle. Clearly, that inspection either never happened or wasn't done properly. It's incredibly frustrating to spend thousands of dollars on a vehicle, trusting that the dealership has done its due diligence, only to end up dealing with mechanical issues almost immediately. I feel completely misled. A reliable vehicle shouldn't come with warning lights and maintenance problems before you've even made your first payment. When I reached out about the issues, I was met with excuses instead of solutions. No accountability, no urgency -- just a lot of runaround. Service department diagnosis vehicles off of CARFAX! General Manager dismisses you when you're trying to explain your frustration! Buyers beware. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere that actually stands behind the vehicles they sell.
