Well, I get it now. One could say I have joined the cult. I am used to contractors showing up at the end of, or indeed after, the scheduled arrival window. Not so with Branch--in fact, they called me a couple hours before the arrival window to see if it would be okay to arrive early, since the technician Kurt was in my area. I was thrilled! Kurt explained everything about the repair to me, and also showed me some things I can do to maintain the garage door (without being condescending). He worked efficiently and also recommended replacing the rollers (which I think were over 20 years old), which I agreed to because the price was very reasonable. He also replaced the light bulb in the garage door opener because he noticed it was flickering. It's a little thing, but it shows to me that they go above and beyond and don't nickel and dime you for things they very well could. He also recommended plugging the garage door opener into a surge protector, and when I quickly produced one, he plugged it in for me too. All in all, the final bill wound up being $50 LESS than what I was originally quoted, and the original quote didn't include the rollers. I'm not sure when I will need garage door service again, but I will certainly call Branch and recommend them to any of my friends who need this service. Really fantastic family business!!

The job was still not done so he returned the next evening, after 5:00pm and stayed until midnight. He also used some of my tools and took them with him. They have not been returned. The job was still not done and he had tightened, loosened, pounded on,T and jerryrigged so many things (including the springs) that the manager and another man came the next day and stayed 2 hours to fix the problems made by the first man. After they left, the garage door and the track were popping and cracking every time I put it up or down. I lubricated them and it seemed to get somewhat better. Two months later the door is very loud again and they sent Quick Garage repair to fix the problem. They fixed the problem that I had with the garage door screen, that runs in the same track, but said that I NEED NEW SPRINGS. The Cowtown guys, that put in my new garage door opener, had adjusted my springs when they were working on my door. Now the Quick Garage Repair guys, that were sent to fix the continuing problems, said that I need new springs and, at my request, would only adjust the springs that are there for $175+. The springs were fine when I got the new opener but they would not take responsibility to tweak the setting because it was not on the invoice, so not under warranty for repair. I could explain in more detail but it might take 3 days to read. This is the first time that I have written a negative review so believe me when I say DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

After reading the reviews of service providers near me, I chose to reach out to Quality Garage door services and a few others. The first service responded within 10 minutes to tell me they would not be able to come out for a week. Three minutes later, Dave from Quality Garage Door Services offered their services. At 7:30am the following morning I received a call from their office with a quoted price and confirming that if we said yes, Tiler could stop by between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Tiler arrived at 11:00am, performed a check of entire door and motor and replaced the broken springs by Noon. He even helped us program our garage door opener to one of the buttons in our truck. Tiler was very professional and informative as he gave us some pointers as to what to look for as our garage door ages. We are very pleased with and highly recommend Quality Garage Door Services.
