The barista took our order, made suggestions, made the tea from scratch, and it was so good! She is a good representative for the store. In addition to the cafe, you can purchase local foods and items here, from meats and cheeses to jams and jellies, noodles, and non-food items like candles. It's located in a sort of industrial area at the east side of Maquoketa, and it doesn't seem a likely place for the business to have moved (it was in a tiny building downtown the previous time I was there.) But once inside, you'll see that they have so much to offer, and now plenty of room for customers and shopping. Worth a little drive just for the tea, but you will find so much more to please you here. read more
