I bought a couch on May 23rd from Mor. It was delivered setup by them but was defective. It developed a problem within 2 days. They sent another couch that developed the same problem within a month. They then sent another tech that determined it was also defective. They then told me it would take 8-10 weeks to get the parts in. I asked for a refund, and I am being denied until they get the parts, send a tech to install them, and then determine if it fixes the problem again or not. Then I have to wait to see if it develops again. It is apparent to me that there is a defect with the design of the couch and I no longer want to deal with it. They don't care about their customers after the sale. They refused to refund my money or exchange the defective couch to a different brand. They won't let me get store credit either. Also they are misleading customers with the battery packs attached to the electric couches in the showroom. We only found out after it was delivered that it didn't come with the power supply it was attached to in the showroom. When I complained about that at the time I reported the first defect, the manager tried to sell me a used battery for over $100. I purchased the couch on May 23rd, and it is now Sept 16th and I am still trying to deal with them to get what I paid for. I guess it's $860 down the drain. I have today filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and I am warning you NOT to do business with Mor. read more

Do NOT shop here. These guys are so unorganized. Had a couch delivered, guys didn't even knock, no curtesy call, then just left, forcing me to take ANOTHER day off. It was also a nightmare trying to get something delivered since I had a credit. Once the couch finally arrived, I was supposed to get a mattress cover along with it, to use the credit. Delivery guys forgot it. One person told me they could ship it to me, no charge, since it was supposed to be delivered with the couch. A week later I'm told to come pick it up, and to ship it there would be a shipping fee. Please don't write back and say "We're sorry you had a bad experience..." Just moved to Phoenix and I had to but all new furniture so I went with this story called Mor's. I have never heard of it before coming from the east coast but it reminded me of Ashley Furniture. I looked in a decided to get everything I need from them. Dustin assisted me even though he wrote my address down wrong I was able to square it away Mor's sent me a reminder for delivery about 5 days out amd I notice address was wrong and I called them quickly amd they fixed the problem I didnt want someone else getting my stuff I paid for. Overall I was happy with everything I received. My sofa had some minor stains and the delivery guys called the store amd informed them of the stain amd.i received a called about 10 min later telling me the technician would be out Sunday to treat the stain. Thanks Mor for acting so promptly with the situation. My other bed will be delivered next Monday but this is everything I got this Monday. read more

After posting my review at the beginning of the month I was finally placed with with Mor's best customer service representative - Brianna. I'm sure after reading my update you will understand why I say Brianna is their best representative and you'll be asking for her too (sorry in advance for any extra work Brianna). I had a horrendous nightmare experience with Mor (see my previous review), I could not believe how difficult it was to get some help and it just seemed the gentleman I was placed with didn't get the whole customer service thing even though Mor's motto is complete satisfaction. His partial solution, went on for months and it was what I like to call a comedy of errors. Brianna reached out to me - both leaving me an email and voicemail and seemed incredibly eager and cheerful to help me. She had a completely different perspective and after speaking with her I could genuinely see she wanted to do what was right for me, the customer. She listened to the my side of things, reviewed the file and it was determined the stripped screws could not be replaced. For the Hollywood Loft I was offered a re-selection, which was great, but I had a hard time parting with this bed because I had decorated the bedroom based on it and it was just perfect in the master. I also expressed continued concern with the low profile box spring in the guest suite which left a huge gap making the bed rather uncomfortable when the pillows slipped through. Brianna went above and beyond and called around and was able to find me a brand new Hollywood Loft (which by the way was discontinued last year), she also swapped out the low profile box springs for normal ones and the guest bed is perfect now. The delivery team took extra care to not strip the screws on the new Hollywood Loft and put all the box springs and mattresses back in place. I cannot express how happy and excited I am that I finally have a FAIR and amazing resolution. Brianna completed this task in record time, she showed genuine interest and delivered amazing service - I love to see great customer service. I can only hope everyone on the customer service team will follow her example, because this kind of service makes you want to go back. But just so we're clear, I want only Brianna to help me in the future! read more

Buyers beware. They don't offer a return/exchange policy unless there is a "manufacturer defect." We bought a mattress and the size didn't work out as we had hoped with the new bed. We wanted to return it the next day after receiving it but were told it wasn't a manufacturer defect. Get with the times! Most places will even offer a trial period up to a year to break in a mattress. We weren't even asking for a full refund, just an exchange for one that would fit better. I'll finish furnishing my house elsewhere and will advise others as well. read more

This is a warning to MOR shoppers - don't waste your money! I purchased a couch there several years ago to use in a guest room. It was never used until two and a half years ago, I moved it to my den. Attached are pictures showing what the couch looks like now after being used 1-2 hours a day no more than 3-4 days a week. I am a 103 lb female and I live alone. Even after seeing these pictures, MOR management is saying this is "normal wear and tear!" Impossible! They refuse to do anything about this! Obviously they don't stand behind their products. We purchased a furniture set from Mor ($3500 give or take). Within 3 months, one of the electronic cupholders went bad and needed to be replaced. We waited almost 3 months for the part to come from China. While under warranty, another cupholder went bad and Mor did replace the entire couch. Several months later, a third cupholder went bad and was again replaced under warranty (the Chinese manufacturer is being sued in the US for copyright infringement / knocking off the electronic cupholder). Now that the couches are out of warranty yet another cupholder has gone bad and we are forced to repair / replace out of pocket. Poor quality, pretty poor customer service on the 866 line (my last call to customer service was a nightmare due to the agent's really short / bad attitude). Essentially, these couches are garbage and we won't be shopping at Mor for replacements. Buyers beware. read more

I must admit I received exceptional customer service while visiting the showroom, however the delivery service utilized by Mor Furniture is absolutely terrible. I'm going to make a formal complaint regarding the dishonesty, rude behavior and lack of professionalism of these young guys...I had to decline to accept damaged furniture, while one was trying to persuade me to accept unleveled dining room chairs, and even attempted to stick a folded business card under one of the chairs to level it. The table had a large chip on it. Nevertheless, I declined the dining room set and immediately afterwards while bringing in my living room set, the same team forced my couches in and took off a pretty good chuck of stucco around my door frame down to the wire. The rude young man, the same one who lied about the unleveled chairs, took pictures of the damage and stated that his supervisor would contact me about the repairs. I did receive a call from a young lady the next day, stating that the Claims department would be contacting me to repair damage. DIDN'T RECEIVE A CALL OR LETTER...MY HOME IS A NEW BUILD. I attempted to to call and text and was informed that a claim was submitted...it's been a MONTH. I did receive my new dining room set a couple of days ago by a different delivery crew. Again, a couple of the chairs were unleved and rocking on my floor. The young man maybe in his early 20s stated, "there's nothing I can do. You're going have to figure it out." POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! The older gentleman entered with another chair, I showed him the chair and instantly, he made an adjustment and fixed it. If it wasn't for the older, polite, and wiser gentleman, I would have sent the furniture back a second time Due to the Rude, and unprofessional behavior of these young delivery guys, and the lack of follow up regarding my damaged property, MOR FURNITURE HAS LOST MY BUSINESS &LOYALTY!!! I purchased motion furniture 4 years ago at MOR Furniture for Less on Thunderbird at Tatum. Recently I moved and the movers misplaced the power adaptors for my sofa and loveseat. I contacted MOR by phone and email and was met with such resistance and told that they no longer carry the model or brand I bought. I was not looking for warranty or free parts, I simply wanted to purchase the adapters. After being completely ignored and/or denied assistance by MOR, I researched the components and found them on Amazon. My problem is solved - with ZERO assistance from MOR who showed they could not care less about their customer. I will never do business with MOR again and hope this sends a message to others / beware of companies which offer poor service on products they sell / the common component I needed was so easily found and while I specifically asked to speak to someone in Service who might help send me in the right direction, I was completely denied and told they could not help / reality is - they WOULD NOT help and have lost a customer forever. I don't live close to this location, but was in the area and needed new recliner couches. Husband and I had been looking all over town, with no luck finding what we wanted. When we walked into Mor, we saw exactly what we had been looking for, and the salesperson was helpful without being pushy. I am very disappointed in Mor's customer service and the overall quality of the furniture we purchased. We bought a sofa with an electric recliner when we moved here from NJ just over 3 years ago. It just stopped working the other day. I called customer service many times and couldn't get through. Today I persevered! I spoke to 2 different reps. Neither could help. Apparently the warranty is 3 years and even though it is out of warranty, I can't even pay to have it repaired. The reps gave me 3 different numbers of companies that repair furniture, one was out of business and the other 2 don't do this type of repair. We spent $12,000 on furniture there when we moved here. The message I got today from Mor is that they don't care about their customers and I should go elsewhere. I certainly would never go back! read more

Mor Furniture got some good nice stuff and just to be honest I purchased in this store twice and everything is good until my last purchase one of my recliner is broken and since I purchase the warranty on my stuff I call them up on how can I get my stuff fix or replace so the lady I talked too says we will send someone there to check on ur stuff and this and that and you will get a call on when we replacing your stuff, so the guy came to my house open check my recliner and said "oh yeah it's broken" so my husband said what we gonna do then... he said we will give u call to when we will replace ur stuff... so ok... a day or so I got a call that my stuff would be replace last wed about this time of the day so I waited n waited gladly they came in half an hour after the start of my 4 hr window... but the guy said I see that I have to pick up the broken recliner but they didn't send a replacement for it yet... so I told the guy I ain't giving u my recliner until I got the replacement he said yeah sure and he said they been trying to contact me that my chair would b replace the coming next week and so I told the guy I been up since morning even took a bath next to my phone incase they call but I never get any call from anyone so he left and said I'll call them to contact u but no one ever did until I gave them a call and explain to me that they made a mistake on setting me up for pick up of my broken chair and replacing it on another day... who does that? Take ur broken one and left u with missing chair on ur set... no.. no... so I told the lady I wanted it to get fix and so she schedule me on Monday and I ask her why would u sched me on Monday you didn't even bother asking me if it's ok with me or just convenient for just for them... so I said no I wanted to have it done Tue Sept. 25 2018 if possible early morning cause u know u got things to do on ur day off... and she said I can't assure u that mam they will call u on Sunday about the time frame it will b deliver so I said ok I'll wait... nope never get any call but a text to confirm that my stuff will be deliver Sept. 25 between 10am to 2pm send yes to confirm so stupid me I reply yes ok so my damn ass cancel all my shit to do wasted another day of my life and guess what 20mins before 2pm no one is showing up on my door my blood is boiling my husband is getting pissy too because he thought I'm just making myself pissed off so I gave them a call and guess what oh, mam they change ur time of delivery between 1pm to 7pm!!!!!! To my surprise I ask her how the hell it happen without me getting a head start or a call in????? And she said sorry o have no idea how it happen I will call the delivery how they mess up and I'll be back at u .... r u serious??? And she got back at me saying I'm so sorry mam since we wasted ur time we will give u 100 dollars of gift card for the inconvenience (better not another mor gift card cause I ain't shopping there anymore).. so I said, lady I wanted it deliver today I will wait until 7pm but I want it done today I ain't wasting any more of my time that I cannot take back for some stupid crap mistake of people that don't do their job properly!!! Please don't go to Tempe location. We are new to Phoenix area. We ordered 3000.00 worth of furniture. The sales person verbally mentioned several times we would get furniture in 1-2 weeks. They now advised it would be in 6 weeks. Long story short nobody was helpful. It gives a bad taste of Phoenix in my mouth. I will never shop there again. From the sales person to manager they were unprofessional . They kept mentioning receipt states 6 weeks. I guess the sales person word means nothing. We would have never ordered the furniture. Horrible experience! I came to this location twice. Hoping that my second visit here would have been better. I came in one evening looking to buy a bed frame and box spring. Picked the one I wanted and spoke with a sales associate to discuss prices. I was given an exact amount, after taxes and delivering fees. About 2 min after giving me the price, the associate walks away and comes back with a "supervisor" and says that he made a mistake on the price and added an EXTRA $100 to the bill. After that incident I ended up leaving. I bought the EXACT same frame I wanted off of wayfair for $140 less and was shipped to my front door for FREE! Two weeks later I called Mor to get prices on a box spring, I asked for the cheapest box spring they offered, I was told it'd cost $100 not including taxes and delivery fees. Later that day I came back with my fiancé to purchase. We went straight to the cashier and was rung up for $150 handed the man $200 in cash. He comes back after 5 min and says that there had been a misunderstanding with the price of the box spring and it would've costed us another $100. I could not believe that the same exact situation was happening all over again. I immediately asked to speak with a manager and he didn't even care to hear what I had to say.
