The door has an alarm on it if a resident try's to open it. The staff is very nice and alway very kind to my dad. He loves the food and is happy with his room. The only thing that could be better is they don't shave him as much as I would like but I understand that there are more pressing situations and a shave can wait. We have a camera in his room and have NEVER seen anyone be mean or disrespectful to dad. I don't know what they pay their employees but they do a good job. My mother in law goes almost daily and they are kind and helpful to her. I don't think any place would be perfect but they are pretty close.

Isle has such a good reputation with independent caregivers that one actually told us to leave where we were (located in Mans/Arl border) and told us to check out Isle. We did. In just over 30 days, my father learned to trust again and began speaking. The food is so good, the care is amazing, the atmosphere is just what you would want if your loved one has to be there ... They attempt to redirect with harsh verbal commands or physical force. I complained to the Director who confronted those caregivers. The caregivers confronted didn't speak to me after that. It was very stressful to have to work with these rude caregivers. Bathroom breaks, Snacks, Ability to redirect, level of care provided, and Activities were not what was indicated during the tours and registration. Some good staff. I moved my mom September 2025.

Not because of the hourly staff but because of the management and corporate. The food looks better than it taste lately. The community recently changed internet and phone providers and it's been a nightmare ever since! Prior to the change, we paid for mom to have her own modem. Initially, we didn't like having to pay for it but looking back at it now, we would go back to paying for without complaint. The community has one last, Chris, who handles all the complaints and fixes the problems. We made the mistake of asking Polly once for help...well she was no help. She was rude, short with the answer and told mom she had to wait for Chris to return on Monday. Today while visiting mom we learned the phones and internet was out yet again. We have been dealing with this problem for months now. This is the "free" internet they advertise. This isn't a problem my mom is having but the entire community. We have placed several complaints with the front desk and Windy and nothing is being done. We are told that we can wait it out or set up an account with Spectrum. The building is old and it shows. There are multiple leaks with every rain storm. Since moving mom in there have been at least 3 floods due to old pipes. It seems as though the things needing to be fixed aren't being fixed yet new furniture continues to arrive. This week their back gate broke, again! The top portion broke and was leaning forward, a true safety hazard. The worst part is that management will raise moms rent and continue to put referral flyers in her box to help move people into a building that is failing apart.

Their work was close to flawless and oversight was extremely detailed and on point. Most recently, my father got out of a double-gated entrance with a keypad. It was due to an employee's complacency and negligence. He was found by a local family member who recognized him this past Saturday. He walked 2 miles without supervision to Walgreens in Arlington (the one next door to the dry cleaner)! I would have highly recommended this location last year but as of the 2-3 months, management has changed -- drastically. Please make another choice!!
