My vehicle was supposedly towed to this collision shop on the evening of July 28th. On the 30th, I called and gave the insurance approval to the office manager. For the first week, I was told it would take a couple weeks because they only had one mechanic that did engines. (so NOT my problem). When I stopped by to check the progress the following week, it came to their attention that my vehicle wasn't even there yet. So for 5 days, they never even checked to see if my vehicle was even there!! Every week I call and every week I am told another excuse why it hasn't been fixed yet!! I have been to Moran Collision Center many times for repair on my different automobiles. I have had the best experience with Moran compared to any other collision shop I've been to. They not only did a great job with my car but also kept me updated with everything they did. Their communication to their customers is impeccable. Tom (the manager) was so helpful in explaining everything to me and not making me feel as if I was a burden if I had any questions. The young man Mitch was also very courteous and always made me feel comfortable. Mitch would go out of his way to see if I needed anything and always offered beverages. Other collision businesses need to take note from Moran Chevrolet on how to treat customers. I would highly recommend to my friends and family. read more

After my vehicle was damaged due to a rear end collision in July, I had it towed to Moran Collision Center for repairs. I am leasing it through Moran Chevrolet and was hoping for a hassle free experience, and I figured it would probably just be easiest to have their repair shop fix it. I should have checked the reviews on Google. Moran took 3 and-a-half months to restore my vehicle. My understanding is that many replacement parts were back ordered. I will give the dealership the benefit of the doubt about this, although I find it disconcerting that even something as simple as a seat belt is difficult to obtain for a 2017 vehicle. My frustration lies with the fact that Moran provided next to no communication. In the time they had my car, I received four updates, three of which were because I called THEM (and it always seemed like an inconvenience to the person answering the phone). At one point, after hearing nothing for over a month, I called and asked them to let me know if there were any further delays. There is no excuse for this. I should not have to beg for them to communicate with me. They should have reached out weekly with progress updates. When my vehicle was finally ready, I made sure to express this to both Tom and Rocky. "We need to do better. We WILL do better," Tom said. These words rang hollow. It shouldn't take an experience like this to realize you need to tell your client what's going on with their vehicle. I inspected my car. Everything essentially looked the way it did prior to the collision. I took it on a test drive. So far, so good. I signed off on it and provided my insurance check to Rocky, who said I would need to pay a $1,000 deductible. My insurance agent made a point to tell me the deductible would be waived, because I was not at fault. It was even written in the notes on the check, "deductible waived." Rocky responded with something like (paraphrased), "I'm not saying I don't believe you, but everybody says their insurance company tells them this." He then proceeded to comb through every line item to make sure it matched their estimate. Moran should have sorted this out in advance. Instead, I felt like I was in the wrong. Once I pulled off the lot, I immediately discovered a problem: the radio antenna didn't work. Tom told me "you have the patience of a saint" and said that the repair people usually check everything thoroughly, while Rocky later said that they don't usually inspect the radio. I ended up having to leave the car with them, so they could diagnose the issue. As expected, I received no updates until it was ready, two and-a-half days later. I've been driving the car for a week and noticed that the side view mirror blind spot detection does not work properly, but I have no desire to return for repairs. I will wait until my next tire rotation and have the dealership take care of it. Needless to say, I would not recommend Moran Collision Center to family or friends. read more

Now I've had my truck back from Moran collision gratiot ave Clinton twp mi for a couple of months finding a lot of scratches dirt in paint overspray in door jam toneau cover does not fit correct lots of water in cargo area I don't think to many insurance companies will Recomend Moran collision after their client gets collision work there I'm surprised pat Moran lets that type of quality go out the door read more
