Hands down the WORST experience I've had at an auto shop. Brought my car in for an electrical problem and they cut a wire without asking me beforehand. This created another issue, which they stated they could fix for around $1500 with no guarantee that it would fix my problem. I obviously passed given they created the issue. The Toyota mechanic I went to afterwards said what they did made no sense and they shouldn't have cut the wire without asking me. He was baffled they did this and now it's creating more hassle than the original issue. To make matters worse, when I called Morano Brothers to get more information about what they cut, Bob was extremely rude, stating that he had already explained the issue to me several times. Sorry, I'm not a mechanic. And when the Toyota guy is saying what you did made no sense, I'm probably going to have a hard time comprehending it as well. Long story short - AVOID these guys. They cut wires without asking you, try to screw you by charging you more for issues they created, and are extremely rude when you ask for reasonable explanations. read more

Had a slight mishap. Another driver hit my driver's side mirror and tour it apart. I went to Morano Brothers for an estimate. We agreed on the price, they ordered the new part and it arrived. I dropped my car off and the work was done is a couple of hours. Mirror looks great. Bob was very friendly, easy to talk to and kept me informed on progress. Will be going back if I ever need body work in the future. read more

I've been taking my cars to Morano Brothers for years now. They have been trustworthy and make sure the job is done right without extra work. I was having AC problems and took my car there. After spending some time looking at it they diagnosed it as a bad compressor or clutch on the compressor. When they went into do the repair work they discovered that the belt wasn't tight enough. They tightened it up and saved me hundreds of dollars in parts I didn't need. They have always been honest with me and given me warnings about pending problems when they have noticed them. read more

Disclaimer: I know nothing about cars. I went here because it's within walking distance from my aunt's house. Oh, and I drive a crappy 2001 Ford Taurus. Service: I wanted the car checked out because the brakes were feeling funny, and I needed an oil change. The first time I drove up the guy told me to schedule an appointment - bummer. I did so for 5 days later and dropped my car off that morning. It was really quick and easy to drop off and pick up, and everyone in the office was very nice. Work: Seems good on my end. As I mentioned before, I know nothing about cars, and they ended up charging me somewhere in the realm of $220 for the check-up, oil change, and to replace some component of my brakes (not the drums, not the pads... some other piece I hadn't heard of before). My brakes definitely work better. My only complaint is that as I was picking it up one guy off-handedly mentioned that I needed to have the axel boots replaced as well. Why they didn't mention that earlier when they called to tell me the brake plan, I have no idea. Seemed like a waste of time to come down and pick it up after 1 problem is fixed, only to be told that I needed to get something else fixed some other time (minus a star for that one). He guestimated the axel boot fix would be $200 more, which ended up being pretty accurate (I took it to a different shop to have this part done). Overall: I'd be more than comfortable to use these guys again. They seem fair and get the work done quick as long as you schedule your appointment ahead of time. read more

Best auto body and paint shop and service center. Fair prices, honest and great family.

I took my Genesis in to fix up damage that was done after I hit a deer that darted in front of the car. The repair was done perfectly and very quickly - absolutely no residual evidence of any problem, and the car looks new. The cost was also far less than I would have anticipated - and far less than the original estimate. Morano is clearly the place I will go if I ever need work done again on the car. read more

I went to Morano Bros for the first time to get an estimate to remove the paint from my garage that my 16 year old transferred to my car. Mr. Morano looked at the car and asked me to come inside while he prepared an estimate. A few minutes later, he asked me to go back outside with him. All of the garage paint was gone from my car. When I asked how much I owe him, he said nothing! While I hope I don't need any body work in the future, if I do, Morano Bros will be where I go. I'm so surprised and grateful. read more

Service is above & beyond! I'm very impressed! Excellent work--my car looks like new again. Repairs were completed in less than the estimated timeframe. Service is awesome--friendly, attentive, and helpful--they even vacuumed my car and helped watch my son while I got the car seat out of my rental. And best of all, the cost was very fair: I went to another recommended body shop for an estimate and Morano Brothers beat them by $600! I hope I don't need collision repairs again anytime soon, but if I do, I will happily return. Thank you! read more

The Morano brothers have worked on my car several times since I moved into this area a few years ago. They do great work. They've always been super friendly and communicative (something I have not experienced at pricey dealerships). And they'll come pick you up if you need a ride back to get your car when they're finished. I highly recommend them. read more

At the recommendation of a friend, I had my Audi side mirror repaired at Morano's and had a great experience. They were able to repair it without replacing the entire mirror, saving a considerable amount of money (another local repair place recommended total replacement). The repair was completed the day after the parts were received from Audi. Tom, one of the owners, offered to drive me home while the mirror was being replaced and pick me up -- very helpful.
