Very happy with the fence install. The reason I chose Humberto Mora was because he was very patient and had good communication when reviewing the project. He showed some good photo examples of his work, and answered my questions well. Also chose him because his pricing was in the middle. His work speed is very fast and the quality of the wood he brought was overall great high quality, not perfect, but great. After completion my neighbor and I did point out a couple things we either wanted changed or fixed. Humberto stayed a few more hours to make those changes. The fence is fantastic and Humberto did a great job at a fair price. If you have any specific design needs, it's best to have it typed out with photos in messenger, and also review in person when the work starts. My neighbor and I went through 5 different contractor bids, and it's best to review carefully if you expect something specific such as "visible concrete vs hidden concrete", "panels touching ground vs not", "pressure treated vs cedar", "distance between posts", "amount of gap between panels", etc. Humberto Mora is Highly recommended! read more

I wanted to give an update on this: Humberto eventually reached out after I had published the previous review, and he and his crew came out to replace all of the rotten boards. A year later, the fence has held up well. It's a shame that we had an issue with the quality of the cedar boards, because I really liked how the fence turned out. If you are getting a lot of fencing installed, be sure to inspect the boards before signing off on the project. read more

From the initial quote, the owner provided prompt responses and itemized details. My project included a retaining wall, backyard patio, and sidewalks. The owner promised to complete the projects in seven business days and kept his promise. Not only was the project done in seven days, all projects turned out extremely well, and he provided constant updates and stayed in touch with us. The entire project turned out perfect and we could not be more satisfied. There was a total of three workers, all extremely friendly and professional. They were very organized I might add. At the end of each day, they would organize all the materials into an area to allow room for us to still move around. Humberto goes beyond all other companies that make fences. He has the eye of an artist to think about making a fence that looks better and works better than you imagined. The front yard fences he built for me many years ago look perfect and people always ask about who made these amazing fences. Some are horizontal cedar, others are framed hog panels to support roses and marionberries. They also built a grape arbor/ support strong enough the massive weight of the fruit. I appreciated the effort to get back as quickly as possible. Although it took us a while to decide, we decided to go with him and glad that he was able to fit us in his schedule. He was very thorough with his work. We love that we would get updates on the progress every end of the day. He would go out of his way to discuss with us whenever he finds anything odd or unusual. Disappointing..we were hoping to use this company for our fencing/landscaping. They seemed ok to begin with (just very inflexible with time) and made an appointment to come out and give us some quotes. We scheduled our whole Sunday around them since they could only come in the middle of the day, and waited in...the guy not only never bothered to show up but didn't even let us know he wasn't coming or acknowledge us trying to contact him to see where he was. Four hours later he sent us a completely incoherent email and didn't even apologize for not turning up. If he's that unprofessional before he even gets the job I can't imagine what his work ethic is like. I expect people to be respectful of our time as we are of theirs! read more

Completely forgot to give these guys a review! They built a really nice cedar privacy fence and double gate for us last summer. We gave it a neutral oil stain and it has held up really well through the year. They had to remove 10+ large brick pillars and cut some branches to clear the fence line. That was a whole day's work by itself. They finished the fence in a couple more days and gave a fair price. Would definitely use them again. read more

They did a rush project for me building a horse paddock. He got a quote back the same day and completed the paddock less than a week after I signed the quote. He fenced in the entire yard with a combination of 6 foot privacy fencing with an arbor for the back yard, and a 5 foot alternating size slat fence for the front yard. He did some pavers all around the house and built a beautiful patio and pergola in the back yard. I love my new yard! He promptly started the work when scheduled and was finished in just a couple of weeks. It took us about a week to find a time we both could meet, but he was building a fence at a house we were moving into so that made scheduling a little harder. His estimate was a good price and he stuck to the budget. We asked for a little change on one of the gates and he quickly responded to let us know it would be a little more due to a larger post being needed which was more than fine.
