We saw a major display of "As Seen on TV" products. We couldn't believe the prices. There were so many products here, and just in time for Christmas too. I wondered if this was a temporary setup. In the back, are seasonal items (wreaths, gift bags, wrapping paper, ribbon, etc.) which is 75% off the marked prices. I found name brand heated rollers, christmas ribbon, fall leaves, and a flashlight for a little over $17.00. This is the place to get all your last minute gifts to people on your Christmas list. The cashier told me that they are here past the holidays and set to open two stores at other malls (Galleria & Meadows). It's a successful supplier to the casinos for promotions that specializes in purchasing closeouts on a wholesale level, passing on the savings to the customers- great for us consumers. The cashier explained that they were experimenting with the setup still and were not sure if they would keep it this way (the organization/layout). I told him that people don't really care about that right now- they just want the low prices. We were pleased with the amazing deals here; honestly, you need to come see it for yourself. When we walked the other side of the mall, we saw that there were two other kiosks set up with a sampling of their inventory. The water is not near the register, so I can not carry it around with me. I go to the food dept and looked for something to eat. I find the pop pies. There were only 2 chicken and the rest was beef. I got the 2 chicken. Went to the register, the line was very long...I had 8 people in front of me. Only one cashier was working the register. Then a manager come over to help her with a transaction. When the manager was done, she walked out the front door of the store. She had her phone to her ear and just ignored the line. So I finally get to the register. I tell the cashier that I have to grab the case of water because there were no cart. She says" I can ring it up, it is the quest water" I said "no it is the nestle water" She said " oh ok" So I go get the water which is by the front row behind the line of product that you can not walk thru. I get back to the register and she is ringing someone else up. I have to ask them to move over so I can set the water on the counter. They were upset but did it. Then the cashier rings me up. Then I see she did not put the pop pies in a bag. I ask for a bag and she tells me it is penny for the bag. I ask "why". She just says "it just is". I then tell her to refund everything I just bought. She look at the manager that finally come back and got on the other register just as I was going to get the water. I say again just refund it. I should not have to pay for a bag even it penny for my stuff that I bought. Then the man behind me says he will do it. I said no. He said it was not a problem. I decided to stop in this time just to do it and it was a pretty good trip. The entrance is small but gets the job done. It's a bit awkward because the left side is the entrance and the right is the exit but it's marked pretty well. The inside was fairly organized and clean looking. I've seen some Walmarts that look pretty worse for wear so it was kind of refreshing to see this one not bad with items everywhere, a sensory nightmare. I had to get some stuff in the pharmacy section, where everything is locked up now and it took less than 2 min for someone to show up to unlock the doors. Easy peasy. There were a shocking amount of registers with actual employees working them. I went to the self check out and it only had like 4 registers. I don't know if it's because they have never changed it or if things are swinging back to manned registers. Let's hope it's the latter. There was an employee working here too and she was friendly and kept the line moving. All in all, I'd definitely come back to this Walmart with its nice employees, clean space and ample parking.

I especially want to recognize a woman I believe was named Symone (spelled with a "Y," if I'm correct). She handled a difficult situation with an upset customer in such a professional and patient manner. The customer was being unfair and trying to pressure her into a situation where they were clearly in the wrong, yet she remained calm, respectful, and composed the entire time. That level of professionalism really stood out to me. Honestly, I don't even live close to this location -- I drive about 20 minutes just to shop there because the food selection is excellent, especially for my lifestyle and dietary preferences. But what truly keeps me coming back is the outstanding customer service from the entire staff. You can tell the team genuinely cares about customers, and that makes a huge difference.
