We've been shopping at this Sam's for years. I don't like stores that charge me to go in and spend money! It makes absolutely no sense. I always say they should pay me an annual fee to come there. However, we have been able to get great discounts on their membership every year. Unlike Costco! The store is very organized and clean. They don't move things around every week which is great. If I can't find something, I always am able to track down an employee. They are always very nice and helpful. Today a male employee saw me struggling with a bag of 500 dum dum lollipops and he immediately knew I wanted to know the price without me saying a word. He took the bag and scanned it for me. What a sweet thing to do. I wish I had gotten his name! There are some really great deals to be had if you do your homework. Every month we need a case of Caesars dog food and it's always the best price; even better than Chewy! My husband always grabs a roasted chicken. Those things are huge and under $5.00! Today he got 2 bags of his Jasmine rice at a good price. I always grab a bag of salad mix and cabbage blend. Both are huge and about $2.00 a bag. I don't feel bad if I don't eat it all and need to pitch some out. The organic mushrooms are also an excellent deal. Now, we have discovered some things are better purchased elsewhere. For example their 80/20 hamburger is $5.99 a pound. If we watch the grocery ads, we can get the same thing for $3.99 a pound at Albertsons. You just have to watch what you buy. Take your phone and compare prices. We have the app and wouldn't be without the scan and go option! I always see loooonggg lines of people waiting to check out and I always wonder why they don't just scan and go? I would never stand in those lines. We always wander over to the blood pressure machine and scan our items. We could do it as we put them in the cart but this works. One time I couldn't get it to work on my phone and checked with the phone lady. She said they had it changed to where you had to connect to the store internet. It seems like they fixed that thank goodness! After you pay you get a bar code they scan on your way out the door. What can they do better? They need some way for shoppers to find items that are obscure. I finally found the honey today. If you could do it through the app, that would be amazing. The other recommendation I have is a way to request they carry certain items. I'm really bummed that they stopped carrying Litehouse blue cheese salad dressing. I was buying it there and then poof! I still look for it every time Occasionally, on our way out my husband wants to stop and get a hot dog and a drink. The hot dogs are big! The drinks are big! 2 dogs and drinks was $3. And change. I love this location, is near my place and has everything I need, this past week the gas prices went down to 3 dollars a gallon there is a saving with no big lines to wait, the corner of pecos and Tropicana is very well located for anyone, the parking lot is always full but be careful at night are some people asking for money or trying to scam, security is around but not always. read more

I placed an order for marble half sheet cake with whipped topping and was to say happy Birthday Finn, Eva & Alex. The order went through and did not include specifics in my confirmation. So I called Sam's Club to make sure it would be correct. A nice young man Nathan answered he said he wasn't able to confirm because it takes 2 hours for the order to come through. He said I could call back to make sure however the bakery wouldn't have an English speaking employee at the bakery that evening. Unfortunately I do not speak Spanish so he wrote down my order and said he would contact his manager for the morning crew. I did get a marble cake - however not with whipped topping frosting (it was buttercream- very disappointing) and the cake just said happy birthday with no names on it! Super disappointing experience it was our first time at a Sam's Club. It started off strong but once we got our groceries and it came to checking out we waited a half hour in line. There was only one girl who was checking out on a SUNDAY. we were there around 11:30am that day. On top of that the girl who was doing the checkout must've been new she was very slow and completely stopped scanning our groceries due to her own assumptions and lack of multi tasking. We had to ask another employee to continue scanning our stuff by the time we got home everything was defrosted waste of $270 and time. And if youre a single woman who lives alone -like myself - why would you ever really need a gallon of Colgate tooth paste? or 700 trash bags? or 115 tortillas for $3.74? You wouldn't! However, paying $3.94 for 20 Tortillas at Smiths now that you know what you can get for .20 cents less... also feels stupid now. Another store, that has joined the list of going down the drain. I give it two stars, because I love their Scan and Go app, however, I am losing interest in how they do business, after being a member for 40 years. Every time I go in, another item is discontinued. I am only able to get 50% of the items, that I was able to get, just two years ago. Now, no more tub butter or fat free milk. Really ridiculous. If I want to deal with only finding 50% of what I need, I might as well go to Costco. The advantage that Sam's always had over Costco, was variety. Waiting for CSR for the jewelry department and had to grab a supervisor to intervene and explain that they didn't have anyone in charge of it. Then why does it have a sign stating to scan QR Code and a CSR will visit you?! A sign saying to grab an employee is not hard to do! The items in the toiletries and pet isles are slim selections and not the most appealing display. My mom loves it there irregardless, but I prefer Costco anytime! read more

This is for the gas station, it sucks that the diesel is not separated from the regular gasoline, i have to wait for everyone putting in regular gas that can use all the lanes and I can only use one side because the hose doesn't reach the other side. And their diesel is almost always higher in price then maverik or even the upside app. Bottomline is I never go to the gas station anymore even when I go to get groceries, just no worth wasting my time waiting in line. read more

What a joke. I was in Vegas on vacation from California when my I got a hole in my new tire I purchased from Sam's Club. I arrive at 5:45pm to get it repaired under the "free road hazard" service. They are open until 7pm. The man at the counter rudely says "can't help you. I have too much work already." So, I'm left stranded with a flat tire and have to waste my vacation time to figure something else out. If you can't help me even when it says you're open, change your hours then. Typically we don't have any issues at this location but we also usually use the app and avoid going inside. Today I had placed an order and the app would not work. I had to go inside and speak to FIVE people and it took an entire HOUR to finally get my purchase. The first person completely walked away, the second just said "yeah the app is ass", and the service just continued down the line the same way no matter who I spoke to. It should not take that long to get someone to help you if the app is down. All I needed was to check in for the pickup so they could bring out my groceries. DO NOT use Sam's Club delivery service!!!! I bought a 100" TV a week ago. The earliest delivery date was today. When I checked the delivery update, it showed the TV was picked up and on the truck three days ago and I guess it has been driving around my city. Today I got an update that the delivery window was from 8am to 8pm. A 12 hour window is RIDICULOUS!!!! I have been waiting around 10 hours and reached out to their chat service to find out a better time frame for the delivery. I was surprised I actually got ahold of a live person and not AI. The first thing they asked for was my email and telephone number. The next problem I had was they could tell I was upset and they could only tell me that it should be delivered today. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with their delivery window, they asked if I wanted to speak with their supervisor. I told them they should have their supervisor call me since they have my number. They disconnected and never called! I will never buy anything from Sam's Club where I will need to use their delivery service again!!! read more

The cheapest gas in town period. They are cheaper then Costco. The sushi at the deli is not bad at all. I mean it's Sam's Club sushi. It's good for what it is really. Just don't eat it right away. Let it adjust to room temperature at home a little maybe 10 min. That way the rice won't be so hard due to the refrigeration temperature at the store. I wish Sam's Club had better selections of cereals. Costco has much better selections. I like both Costco and Sam's Club for different reasons. Bigger parking lot than Costco for sure. That's a plus. I've never been so disappointed with customer service at a Sam's Club until now. I needed help in the produce section and asked several employees for assistance. Every time, I was told someone would be right over--but no one ever came. I waited over 45 minutes, asking multiple staff members, and still got the same vague response. One even told me it was "too much work." I understand busy days happen, but this felt like my request was being ignored on purpose. I left feeling frustrated and unvalued as a customer. Management needs to seriously address how their team handles customer service--especially when multiple employees are involved and still fail to follow through. read more

I had gone to this pharmacy for over 10 years never had a problem. I had to start back on opiate meds that's when they went from so so service to treating me like I was a drug addict. They started giving me a hard time every time I picked up to the point of telling me to hit the road because I was in pain. I was able to get alternative treatment and was off opiate. I still needed something for sleep and they started in again refusing to bring my meds to the car as I am unable to walk this was the final straw. I moved to pharmacy with drive through and much cheaper prices. Where I was paying $45 they were charging $90. What more can I say. read more

But we are in the line for self check out and we do not like self check out, the lady who ask was very inconvenient, she made us feel like we are stupid, choose your words , words that are kinds, long standing line is very stressful, we do not have time to spend time just for the line.. so we end up at the back of the line, signs would be nice if there is.. Sam's club is an amazing alternative to Costco. Prices are about the same for similar products. Gas prices are within a penny of each other as well. I picked up a membership only because it was practically free to join! This location off Trop is more convenient for me. Easy entrance, exit and access into the parking lot is much more easier and less stressful to get around unlike Costco. The warehouse is not as massive either. The Serta pillows and mattresses are the best deals here! Didn't buy much on this round. Carrots, cashews and condensed milk. Things that begin with the letter "C".. haha, I just realized that! I was in and outta here in less than an hour. What made it super quick and easy was the scan pay, go feature! D/l the app, scan your cart, pay online and just show your virtual receipt when you exit. No standing and waiting in line. What's even nicer they are open at 8am if you have the Plus Membership! Love it! Helps avoid the crowds as much as possible! read more

Who ever is the manager for the cafe should be fired. They barely have anything. Months ago. after a while there was no pizza. Then no fountain drinks. This past few weeks there is no pretzels. I'm an easy gal to please when it comes to customer service just greet or smile and keep it pushing. I really dislike coming to the Pecos location, the associates appear to be in AWFUL moods and they make it very difficult to ignore.
