This place is an excellent spot for inexpensive and quality furniture. As a new college grad, I…read moredon't have a ton of money saved up and don't want to head over to Nebraska Furniture Mart to spend $$$$ on furniture for my new apartment. This place hooked me up excellent. I bought an amazing couch here for $350 (new). When I was looking at two other stores in the DFW area, the SAME exact couch was priced at $60 more expensive and $500 more expensive. Yes, you can get the same couch here for $500 less than other stores in the DFW area. That's INSANE. They also have a clearance section in the back with returned furniture that is marked down to dirt cheap prices. I got a like new night stand for $35, an amazing bookshelf for $57 and a solid TV stand for $90. A new dresser here cost me $250, new kitchen table was $100 and as I said earlier my couch was $350. That's a total of $882 to furnish an entire apartment with high quality furniture. I have friends that have spent over three grand furnishing their place! The deliver service they utilize is a bit pricey ($85 flat rate) but it beats hiring movers. The guys working here are super friendly and don't try to push you into buying anything. This place is where you want to visit if you don't feel like spending a fortune on furniture but still want high quality stuff.

The retail location referred us to this outlet location, and we're very thankful they did. In fact, some of the same items we looked at that were 400$ at their retail location, were $180 at their Outlet store. This place is a bargain for high quality furniture. It's clear their stock changes regularly, so I highly recommend checking this place out on the regular. Interestingly enough, one of the new chairs we bought had a rental return that matched, so we got a matching pair of designer high quality chairs for a steal. Be sure to look at the entire store. The facility isn't as nice as the other one, with this one having more of a warehouse feel. I'm not even sure it's as big as the retail location, but you're not here for the facility anyway. You're here cuz you're going to save a fat stack on some furniture. Marco was really helpful and very knowledgeable about the furniture. He showed us everything and was very informative. Francisco was nice and friendly, and was even flexible when my wife demanded pillows that went with a different couch... even though we had already paid. Delivery was smooth. We actually purchased items at both locations, and the delivery company owner Alex picked up items from both stores to deliver them for us on one delivery, and for a bargain! Alex and his crew was very familiar with furniture delivery and all furniture was delivered without any marks on the new items or on the property. He was about 10 minutes early even. To top it off, I negotiated with Alex to move my existing furniture out of the way for the new furniture! I'm no Charlie Sheen, but 'Winning!'

As we're relocating to the area, family recommended we check out Weir's Furniture's…read moregoing-out-of-business sale to help furnish our new home. Service from Michael at the Spring Valley location and Rita in Plano was fantastic. It's genuinely sad that employees like them will be losing their jobs. We shopped over Memorial Day weekend and found several great deals, though we also passed on a few items that didn't quite feel discounted enough yet. A quick check back just a few days later showed inventory is pretty thin. We're looking forward to enjoying our new furniture in our new home.

I have been seeing the store closing signs and felt like I had to get in to see if I could find a…read morebargain. I have always loved Weirs and been a customer of those for all of my adult life (bought my first bedroom set from them at 18). Honestly, I have seen better sales while they were in full operation. It seems though the signs said discounts up to 30%, most of what I saw was only 10% off so it was hard to see the value in that. The service was good. It's sad to see good people losing their jobs. I did tell a few people who really demonstrated good service about the fact that the company I work for is hiring. There are still a lot of nice pieces left and several high end mattresses at a fair price, so if you are in the market it's probably worth the look!

I came to know about this place from Facebook - I follow their page (District 635) on there and was really impressed with the color palettes that they use and the uniqueness of the items they show on there. The store itself is just as impressive. They go to other furniture/ decor places and get their closeouts and sell them here. While they advertise that their prices are significantly less for designer pieces, I do not see much financial savings, HOWEVER, I am willing to pay their prices because, as I said, mostly everything in here is extremely unique. I will say this - I saw a coffee table here made out of a Russian boat propeller with a glass top (super cool and different!) for $2300 and it was $4000 at Restoration Hardware ... so that's something, right? :) They constantly get new pieces in, so you have to check back frequently. They are only open Thursday-Sunday, so you really want to try to get there Thursday to see the best things that they have to offer for the week. For the most part, you buy right off the floor. Sometimes they will have a few duplicate items from the floor back in their warehouse, but this is one of those places where when you see something you like, you better buy it because it may not be there next time. *Note: They are connected to The Dump, however, the styles/ selection is nothing like the The Dump. Trust me, I don't like The Dump either.

I can also say that the furniture is very old and made of Teak wood imported from India. We picked it up from the store with only $100 off the price because one of the accent horse head on the front was cracked. I am really happy with the kind of furniture they collect over there.

Never got the phone call the night before to give us delivery window. Contacted sales person and was told 'you're scheduled for June 1st" (not asking if this date was ok. It wasn't. Then were given June 8th as delivery date. No phone call night before, no contact june 8th as of 1pm. At 2 pm, email stating delivery would be june 9. then told 10:30-1:30 window. morning of the 9th, time change. Oven finally did arrive, the gentlemen that delivered and installed were professional and friendly. Installation was done in about 15 minutes.
