We were so excited to find a birth house but it was nothing but headaches. From the horrible…read morecommunication from the scheduling lady, Rhiannon, she would schedule visits in person when they were supposed to be virtual. She also told us we still needed to pay but we paid everything weeks before and just forgot to look at the invoices. I wanted to take home my placenta, but had to get transferred after birth due to high blood pressure and Rhiannon never told the home nurse to grab it when she was at the birth house. I really wanted it for the day after my delivery. The communication was so so frustrating and unprofessional. One of most frustrating things, was we never got our superbill and I picked a higher deductible plan for my insurance to get more money back... Still so disappointed and if i was still in MI, i woulnt recommend them. They also miss spelled my fiancée name on the birth certificate, when its the same as my sons and his is spelled correctly. Quality of care was okay.

I was soooo low on iron so they were supposed to schedule me with infusions come to find out they messed up my insurance so I had to figure that out on my own and started the infusions way later than I should have .... I also had to schedule my own 20 week anatomy scan because they never did ... for being more "holistic" few days before my due date I had to take a covid test so I did and it was not positive but my midwife said the test showed I was "possibly exposed " to covid so she wanted me to do birth center instead of my home which screwed everything up for me .. I was just surprised that covid was such a big deal .... I ended up giving birth on my own having my husband deliver my baby at home ... paid 900 for a doula which I never used ....

Guys I can not recommend this place enough. I had a terrible TERRIBLE delivery through Metro. I had…read moreso much tearing, scaring, and pain. 7 months postpartum came quickly and I was still having intense pain with sex and tampons. after months of pelvic floor therapy and no progress,I decided to give this place a shot and I saw Dr. Dalm. He gave me a brief exam and knew i needed surgery. We got it scheduled and two weeks later it was done. He did perineal plasty, scar revision, and muscle tuck. I'm only a week post op so I will edit and add with how things feel when I'm healed. I am super grateful for Dr. Dalm taking my pain seriously and offering solutions.

I could not give have been happier with my experience at GR OBGYN. I found Dr. Lily Dawson and…read moreGROBGYN myself via google search and knew it was the right fit for issues I was experiencing post partum. After a thorough assessment, she made weekly focuses on my areas of need but we worked thru each one, slowly and carefully making sure I was progressing and understanding self care. I am able to say I am walking away with a wealth of knowledge about my body and I know she gave me "toolkit" of moves to help me strengthen and recover my body from here on out. It's unfortunate new moms arent referred immediately to pelvic floor PT but I was so glad I took the steps to get to GR OBGYN. From the front desk to consistent support from Lily, the staff provides a safe, comforting and welcoming space for women. Not to mention the emotional support from Dr. Dawson, she was the person I didn't realize I needed - I'm forever grateful for our sessions. I can't say enough good things about this practice and if you are searching for some pelvic floor PT or have questions about it; this place is a gem and made a difference in my life. I'm truly bummed to have graduated on but I am a true believer in pelvic floor PT. Thank you Lily and staff for all your do for the GR women.
