Most PT practices are almost cookie cutter versions of the same thing. They come up with a list of…read morethe same exercises and then have somebody tell you to do them. Fyzical is different. To begin with, they have lots of special equipment for balance and gait training. I've had a lot of PT before and never seen this type of equipment. It has been great for both diagnosing and treating my issues. They can also test my ability and measure my progress. They can even compare it against what is normal for my age range. The other thing that they do differently is that when I walk in and tell them about something I'm having a problem with, they work on it with me. They help find me some exercises that address that specific problem. They aren't tied to an unchanging list of exercises. All of the staff is caring and I'm finally making progress with my gait and balance.

I think the owners could really improve the experience by investing in updated equipment and furnishings. The last time I did this I went to the ER and it took forever and my copay for an ER is A LOT! My specialty care is $65 so lesson learned so when I hurt myself again I decided to try this facility as they had an X-ray facility on-site and I could see a doctor in sport medicine. The whole experience was so pleasant from the front desk workers, X-ray tech and the doctor. Clean facilities, no waiting between phases I was in and out within an hour (That included sign-in, X-rays, nurse visit, doctor visit, and boot fitting).
