This is a review of the physical therapy/rehab facility and not an individual provider…read more This is an Ochsner owned medical center specializing in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation as well as physical and occupational therapy. In building B they have a gorgeous new sports medicine rehab/PT room, inpatient rehab and medical offices. They are also currently undergoing further renovations. Most of the occupational therapy is done in a room in the back of the building rather than the fancy new room, but they still have comparable equipment. Building A houses an Ochsner lab (for blood draws), Ochsner Employee Health and medical offices. I go for physical therapy in the sports medicine building and really like it. The therapists are professional, friendly and knowledgable. They have nice new equipment and lots of tables and exercise machines. They employ computerized Epic charting like Ochsner's Main Campus so they always have your information pulled up and remember where you are in the therapy plan each week. I would return to this facility for any further PT/OT or sports rehab in the future without a doubt. Parking is limited in the front of the building, but they have a parking garage as well as lots behind building A and across the street behind building B. Note: this is not an emergency or urgent care facility, you must have a referral or appointment.

The team at Touro Birth Center is known for their expertise, compassion, and commitment to providing personalized care to each patient. I visited the birthing center early on in my pregnancy to ensure the facility met my needs of a having a calming birthing atmosphere. Touro offers just that, a comfortable and home-like environment. I couldn't have been happier with the care I received from midwives(Heather, Sarah, Tisha), nurses (Samantha,Erin) and OB Dr. Tara Morse. I couldn't have asked for a more skilled, compassionate, and supportive team to deliver my baby. The center is equipped with advanced technology and amenities/resources(spacious single rooms, birthing tubs, peanut/exercise balls, postpartum essentials, individual mom and baby nurses, doula support, lactation consultants). The Touro Birth Center also emphasizes family-centered care, encouraging the involvement of partners and loved ones in the birthing process which was comforting to me. I highly recommend Touro Birth Center for families seeking a positive and memorable birthing experience.

I can't wait to get home to take a shower. I used several alcohol wipes to clean the chair I was sitting in and the table with wheels, which also had dirt and dust all over it. I am sure there were tons of germs in the room. I can't be the only one that noticed these things. People come to the emergency with all kinds of illnesses and diseases. I saw a woman with 3 kids in the waiting room with some kind of respiratory illness that seemed to be contagious as all of them were sick, I am glad we got a room before that family came in, otherwise my husband and myself might have caught what they have. they should have been taken to a room when they arrived so they could not spread what they had. This is the closest ER to our house. If there is a next time we will go the Ochsner.

To begin with, they have lots of special equipment for balance and gait training. I've had a lot of PT before and never seen this type of equipment. It has been great for both diagnosing and treating my issues. They can also test my ability and measure my progress. They can even compare it against what is normal for my age range. The other thing that they do differently is that when I walk in and tell them about something I'm having a problem with, they work on it with me. They help find me some exercises that address that specific problem. They aren't tied to an unchanging list of exercises. All of the staff is caring and I'm finally making progress with my gait and balance.

After a complete and thorough examination by Dr Nathan Macalusa, PT, clinical director, I was given an explanation of my assessment and a plan of care to turn my condition around. The PT doctors, staff and facility are all exceptional. Having gone to several physical therapy facilities through the years, I know that finally I have found the best. Fyzical specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, balance retraining, dizziness and fall prevention, neurological rehab, plus many other conditions. Customer service is a major focus for Fyzical. Everyone from its owner to the office staff is Friendly and genuinely cares about the client's wellbeing, body, mind and spirit.

You will not be in the office for long. Love the location on Canal street, the office is clean and decorated with New Orleans Artwork. They take my insurance so I only have to pay my co-pay. I recommend calling before hand to make an appointment but they do take walk-ins. Also, they have massage therapists on staff, a great service for your body pain. They always send a 50% of your massage coupon for your birthday, I recommend taking full advance of this discount. Note: the office is only opened Monday- Thursday so plan accordingly.
