Amazing service, great view. Very tasty food. Great for families. Both casual and nice. Gif selection of wine and beers.

Amazing food.I drive 2 hours away every few months just go get a taste. It's so worth it. Located on the water, the view is awesome. You can always see fish, ducks, and turtles. You can park by boat aswell. I highly recommend them. The wait staff is very friendly and fast aswell.

The not sweet no umbrella type drink

First our Waitress was amazing!! We were a large group and we all had our drinks tended to often. My meal started with the Spinach dip. Sadly I would skip this next time because it was way too much spinach and hardly any other flavor (like cheese). Would make a better side than appetizer. But the absolute star of the night was the Shrimp & Eggplant Napoleon. OMG skip everything and just eat this. Absolute perfection. Wanted to end the meal with their Cream Brulee but they were out so I settled for the chocolate caramel pie. Delicious. Now my absolute biggest reason for only 3 stars is the drink. I asked the waiter who was helping our waitress what sweet drinks the bar had. I told him that I like umbrella drinks and he went and talked to the bar tender who gave him several options. I told him that I wanted the bar tender to surprise me and boy did she. I got a blueberry something drink and it was far from sweet. Had several others with me try it and they all agreed it wasn't sweet nor did it taste good. A bar tender should be able to handle the request of a sweet umbrella type drink. And to be served whatever it was that I got served for $12.00 was a very bad choice on the bar tender. But the main meal and the dessert will keep me coming back. Just not sure I'll be ordering a drink from the bar.

Good food, good service, outstanding view of the river. Good, crispy house made onion rings with a nice creamy pepper dressing. Grilled black drum over fried green tomatoes was very good, with a distinct lemon flavor (this was on the specials menu - not a regular item). My wife's redfish was also good, topped with shrimp and crabmeat. The only downside was bland mashed potatoes- salty with no other flavor. Four stars: I might not go out of my way, but I would definitely eat here again. P.S. Don't know what the "antiques" part of the name is about - never saw an antique shop.

Soft shell crab on a bed of crawfish étouffée & rice. Amazing!

It's a great experience with a great view! The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable, create fresh & fun daily specials, and make great recommendations. Happy hour at the bar is always fun and welcoming with a great local crowd. Highly recommend this place.

We moved to St. Francisville, Louisiana a couple of years ago , and didn't realize this place existed until yesterday. It's not on the main drag, so you wouldn't know it was there by just driving through town. It is literally over the water so the view is great. We made reservations, but went early enough that we probably didn't need to. We got a crab cake appetizer and were not disappointed. It tasted great and the tartar sauce that came with was different than anything I have ever had. It has just a little spice to it that made it taste awesome. My husband generally hates mayonnaise in anything, but he would have licked the bowl. lol. I had the redfish, and my husband had the Shrimp and Eggplant Napolean. The portions were large and tasted great. I think I found a new favorite restaurant. We will definitely be back!!

This place sits directly over the water and every seat has spectacular gorgeous views of False River. The service here is always stellar so no complaints on that. The spinach and strawberry salad with feta and pecans is mouthwatering. The fried fish & shrimp here have always been delicious but I decided to try something new tonight so I started with crawfish bisque which was delicious even though it didn't had a single crawfish in it. For my entree I ordered a single fried Softshell crab to be added to the the crawfish Julie which is supposed to be crawfish and mushrooms in a cream sauce but it was disgusting and more of a bad étouffée made with frozen Chinese crawfish. It was not a cream sauce and didn't have a mushroom in it. The Softshell crab was just a tiny baby and was all soggy with grease so hmm ! For dessert I ordered the berry cake with almond frosting. The cake serving is huge but one bite of it is too much of it because it was just a boxed spice cake with macerated berries under the frosting it was nothing special, I didn't care for it. I don't know if they just had a extremely bad night or what but gee it was bad !

One of my favorite places to eat in new roads. Awesome view of the lake or river (if you are a local).

We had chicken and sausage gumbo, Pepper Jack boudin balls, bam bam gator bites and the blackened chicken pasta. The waiter this time was better than the waitress we had last time. He was very attentive and made sure we never had to ask for refills. The appetizers came out fairly normal time-wise I would say. The main portion took a little bit longer than what you're used to at a franchise restaurant but here that's perfectly fine as it's worth the couple extra minutes. The gumbo is perfect(I love when gumbo is not over complicated) I like to add a lil hot sauce to it and it's delicious... only thing is, while they already give generous portions... the cup and the bowl looked exactly the same except I think in the bowl they give you one extra scoop of rice... which would be just fine if it wasn't like $6 more. But still delicious nonetheless. The bam bam gator bites were really good and I highly recommend them. If you like bam bam shrimp you'll love these. The pepper jack boudin balls were good, nothing special but they were definitely worth the try. My co-worker had the blackened chicken pasta and when I asked him how it was he said "dude, it's really good!" lol. The building is pretty unique and they have some outside seating with a massive beautiful tree that over looks the restaurant and takes claim to some of the asphalt in the parking lot lol. But it's a great spot for birthdays, good lunch menu deals, casual date night or if you wanna blow some steam off, they have a little bar in the restaurant as well. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend. I'm from East Texas, so I'm no Cajun/Louisianan but they truly got some good grub here. I'll definitely be coming back several more times when I get the chances. I will warn you, I believe the food is freshly made so when it gets to the table, give it some time to cool off because it comes out HOT.

Get ready to let the good times roll when you walk through the door, the sign above the counter…read moresays "Welcome to Cajun Paradise, I'm with couyon" being born and raised in southwest Louisiana I can definitely get the meaning in the correct context, I can also recognize authentic Cajun cooking when it's put down in front of me and mais sha let me tell you these folks are doing it proud. We stopped in here for lunch and ended up with a sampling of what in my opinion is probably the best example of cajun food done right in Houma and for miles around - everything was delicious and the service from Sarah L was outstanding. We started with the Charbroiled Oysters served with toasted french bread, the plump Louisiana oysters were succulent and dipping the french bread in the cajun butter became an obsession, definitely a must do starter - I wasn't leaving here without trying their chicken and sausage gumbo, perfect texture and complex flavors it will make you a believer, my hats off to the chef, definitely authentic - the fried catfish filets and jumbo fried shrimp platters were outstanding although we didn't do it these are the foundation of an amazing po-boy (maybe next time) - all the sides were exceptional from the fried okra and onion rings to my personal favorite the skillet fried potatoes and who could leave without a few beignets served hot covered in powdered sugar - what a meal they should have a place to lay down in the back for a "cajun nap". In my opinion if you craving some authentic cajun dishes you can't go wrong here, the portions are nice and the prices are very reasonable. Our schedule didn't allow us to return as we had planned but will definitely return when we are back in the area...

Solid place for Cajun fare (tons of options), fairly priced, good service…read more We got the crawfish etoufee, seafood gumbo, friend catfish with sides of hush puppies, cut corn, and potato salad, and bread pudding. All food was solid. Seafood gumbo was particularly good. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing through town. For any Midwesterners, you may find the potato salad a little bland. Was expecting a bit more but it was okay. Next time I would skip and get a different side. Most locals seemed to order 1/2 pound of boiled seafood.
