The quality of care I received was exceptional, I became a patient due to an orthodontics emergency.My permanent retainer bond detached from my tooth. I didn't want to take a chance of it causing my teeth to space while I was out of town. My local orthodontist is in Louisiana and couldn't make it there. So while on my flight I googled orthodontist that are open on Saturday and their name came up first. The process to become a new patient was quick and easy. Dr Poole was great explains to what he was going to do and how to repair it. Quick and easy and very gentle while doing the repair. The entire staff was helpful during this urgent manner. I will return and invite my family and friends to join the great office for all of their dental needs. I had a very disappointing experience at Moreno Valley Modern Dentistry. I went in for what was supposed to be a routine teeth cleaning. After spending nearly two hours in the office, the only thing that was completed was X-rays. Instead of getting my cleaning, I was told I needed approximately $4,000 worth of crowns and root canals. I have dental insurance, and after checking with my insurance company, I was told my estimated out-of-pocket cost should have been around $1000, not $4,000. Because of this huge difference, I called the office and simply asked for documentation explaining the treatment plan and costs so I could review it with my insurance company. Unfortunately, the customer service was just as frustrating as the appointment. The representative initially didn't understand what I was requesting. Once she did, she said I would have to come into the office to pick up the paperwork because she could only print it. I asked if she could print it, scan it, and email it to me, but she repeatedly insisted that "the system wouldn't let her," even though printing and scanning are two separate processes. There didn't seem to be any effort to help or offer an alternative. At that point, I had lost confidence in the office and asked to cancel my cleaning appointment. Instead of helping me, I was placed on hold and no one ever came back. I hung up, called again, and someone answered immediately and canceled my appointment without any issue. Overall, I left feeling like the focus was on selling expensive dental work rather than providing the preventive care I originally scheduled. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Very bad dental office. Have been coming here for over a year now. We schedule for weekends so the whole family can get checked and cleaned. Each time it takes more than 2 hours for service. And that is with no major work needed. No fillings, no cavities. Just a cleaning with the hygienist and then a consult by the doctor. Every time I go they try and push additional items. Laser cleanings, which I deny every time. They keep asking for me to remove my wisdom teeth but I have no crowding or cavities. Just came this weekend had a appointment at 10:45am. Showed up as recommended and they did not get me seen until 11:30am. They take me in for x rays which I did not need. See the dentist, and he says we will get you set up for a cleaning. X-rays plus dentist took less than 5 minuets. At 11:52am they come back and tell me the hygienist is busy she will be there at in 30 min. At 12:57pm they come in and tell me I have no cleaning scheduled and they have no availability to meet me. I wasn't scheduled for service even though all I was scheduled for was a cleaning, because they told me I have to keep up my gum health with increased visits. DO NOT GO. Ok, it's the day after my 7hrs dental visit. Let me explain (which is embarrassing) it was 3 decades...you do the math since I HAD WORK DONE on my teeth, I had one X-ray done within the 30 years. In saying all that...y'all it was a wonderful experience. Was I in pain after...yes after the anesthesia wore off but OTC pain pills x2 worked. Today, I'm pain free. I am so glad that I found this group. Dr Mylad was GREAT! Jazmine her assistant, wonderful she's the best person to have (especially me since the years of not going to the dentist) for intake. And I'm not going to forget April the hygienist...wonderful as well. I usually do not give 5 stars but I am today. My mom even said, you are doing well after going to the dentist and having all that work done on your teeth. Now, I gotta get my daughter her. I knew my appointment was going to go well when I was wonderfully greeted with a big smile by Diana and Priscilla. They are professional, polite and friendly. Mayrose did all my X-rays and explained step by step what she was doing. Mayrose was gentle and extremely good at her job. I then saw Dr. Mylad who I highly recommend. She speaks clearly of where your oral health are at and what can she do to help maintain and or cure the issues you may have. They are very flexible with payments and break it down for you so You are able to take baby steps into fixing your teeth. I'm glad I found this clinic and am now assigned here. We came last week with my son to do a 4 wisdom tooth extraction under whole anathesia & he is 15 years old based on his Orthodontist request & we're really scared from the step but Dr Mylad's explained the process from start to end took care of us clinically & financially also gave us a discount since there was a bid portion to be paid out of pocket , operation went smooth, & Dr even called us after we went home to make sure we are take med as prescribed & everything is ok 2 days after same thing another follow up call, we are so pleased to go & be taken care of this office & will continue to go there . read more

My first visit last year was fantastic and I got exceptional care - but then the dentist went out on maternity leave. New dentist is Botamena Mylad, DDS. The first appointment I had for a cleaning was over an hour and half wait and I ended up leaving because they didn't know when this new dentist would be done with the previous client. Showed up for next cleaning appointment and now I know why this dentist has destroyed the integrity of this place. They took me in and sat me down for x-rays - which I quickly explained that I was only there for my 6 month cleaning and had no sensitivity or concerns. She then went out and came back and said: "she said your x-rays are free!" HUGE RED FLAG and that's when I should've left. Dentist comes in and lists off all the problems with my teeth and that I had to have 2 crowns done that night (I came in at 4:30) and a Sealant for a total of over $4,000. I was thrown off and unfortunately agreed to 1 of the crowns - she said the old filling had expanded and had caused damage to my tooth - but if you read my chart I have old cracks from a car accident 40 years ago. I was starving and had to go out to Starbucks (mouth full of Novocain) since I was there for 4 hours!! I also noticed that the old office staff were gone - and no longer giving a bag upon leaving with a new toothbrush and they even had a snack. No more. I have already switched to a different provider and will never go back. It's all about money and not the integrity of necessary dental work. read more

Thankfully, I got a second opinion -- my regular dentist repaired it easily without extraction. I went to Modern Dental for a cleaning and exam in 2025 . After what had to have been about 50 X-rays because they kept coming out fuzzy I was told I needed a deep cleaning, a refill on a existing filling and a root root canal with a crown with a grand total of $3k, I agreed believing in the honesty and knowledge of the Dentist, a very nice woman. After preparing my tooth for the root canal, they put a temporary on a scheduled my appointment for the next availability of their root canal specialist for two weeks later which was the soonest available. The temporary did come out a couple of times the first time I came in and they put it back in for me the second time was in my sleep I figured I probably swallowed it. When I saw the root canal specialist on my appointment, I was surprised to hear from him that he said I did not need a root canal just to go ahead and get a filling and the crown because my tooth had been shaved down. So they prepared my tooth for the crown, which seemed to take forever not like they said it would be within a day or two it took some time when they finally put it in it didn't seem to fit right I had to go back a couple of times for more x-rays to make sure it wasn't infected cause my gum was so swollen. They said the problem was it needed to be shaved down well that's not the problem to this day almost 1 year later it's very uncomfortable to the point I can't chew on that side and it's swollen from the poor fit, I still owe on the treatment and if I'm just one day late, they tack on a late fee there is no grace period on their financing so I owe more for just being one day late a couple of times this place is not quality dentistry or customer service read more

Literal joke! I think the 5 stars are from friends or perhaps vision impaired folks who cant see the bills or chatges. My son just got put on his own insurance and needed a teeth cleaning. We moved from Bay Area and still use our dentist/oral surgeon up there because its been hard finding new good dentist down here. Us other family members have alot of issues so we are familiar with charges/procedures. This place has weekend hours so he was able to get in quick and figured no big deal since its only a cleaning apt and he knew his gums were bad and needed deep cleaning probably. He comes home without his teeth even cleaned, xrays ONLY done and told he needs 2 crowns and a couple fillings. His portion would be about $4,000 and offered a payment plan trying to get him set up for future apts right then. Somehow they could do deep cleaning and crowns, ect in one visit. I was shocked and looked over the estimate and what they charged for that day and insane pricing just for the xrays alone. I know dentist bills are hard to understand but the amount of garbage listed on this was crazy. Today I get my insurance explanation of benefits for the visit and they billed for $1450 for literal xrays. Oh and an apparent CT scan. My son said it was just the panoramic xrays that were done but lets call him stupid, he went in for a cleaning! Sons portion is $930! We have charges for oral exam, series of xrays, 4 individual xrays, panoramic xrays, unknown diagnostic test, CT scan of both jaws, and some preventative procedure. My son had NOTHING done but xrays, not even the cleaning. Called a different dentist for 2nd opionion "very reputable dentist in Redlands" and used the $1000 xrays they took here and surprise..... no crowns needed. With his insurance his out of pocket is now $700 which includes original cleaning he went in for, deep cleaning and a few fillings. That is even after them having to take a few more images because this places xrays werent good quality. No wonder why insurance companies dont want to pay! Besides the false and outrageous billing, get a second opinion done if told that you need some crowns and root canals please!! read more

Was looking for a dentist that did sedation cause I am a big chicken. I knew I needed work done and kept putting it off until I started having pain. I had pain on both sides of my mouth cracked teeth from prior fillings falling out. Ended up here and Dr. Quincy and she is my new Dentist of choice. She was super patient with me and got me taken care of. I ended getting four crowns two root canals and a wisdom tooth extraction and a cleaning. I'm a recent new patient here & I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I had previously gone to another dentist office where they had told me I needed at least 5-8 different fillings for "cavities" which seemed odd to me because I didn't have any cavities in my last appointment previously, not even small ones. I didn't go back to that office and came to this office instead and when I received my check up the dentist told me I didn't need any fillings! Just one crown and a cleaning. She seemed extremely honest and didn't seem to be trying to get more money out of me by diagnosing extra unneeded things. She seems super trustworthy. They offer payment plans here with no interest which is almost unheard of at a dental office. So that's a huge help if you need treatment but are unable to pay for it all upfront. The girls that work the front and back office are super nice, very helpful, and welcoming. They were able to get me into the office to start my treatment a couple days after my first visit. I was able to get a deep cleaning and my crown prepped AND have the permanent crown placed all in the same day which I loved. The hygienist was also very nice and professional. I've always had TMJ issues/pain and she was able to made accommodations for me to make sure I was comfortable during my cleaning. The office is very clean and the "modern" in their name is very fitting because they do have a lot of new modern technology that they use that I haven't seen elsewhere.
