NEVER buy furniture from Morgan Furniture in Niles Ohio JUNK, JUNK, JUNK !!! Bought a couch, looked and felt great in the store, within a week it started to squeak when someone sat on it. I called the store and a repairman came out. Bottom line he said the couch was poor quality and I should have bought flex steel ‍ He said he could replace springs but it probably would just happen again. I declined the spring replacement since it probably would not fix it. Not even a month later there is a big sink spot on the arm rest. Keep in mind that i hardly sit on this couch. There is pilling all over cushions. Last one from Sheeleys, had it for 20 + years and it looked like new when I got rid of it compared to this pice of junk read more

I went into Morgan Furniture on Jan 9th picked out a recliner and sectional. The sales man was very nice and helpful. Didn't see at the time it was just to get the sale. Was told my sectional could take 4 to 6 wks but should be here in 3 wks. (Sales reps words!) so wk 3 I call and I'm told it will arrive March 1st so I ask "why so long?" Told..... "That's just what they have wrote down!" So I call back wk 4 I'm told "it's being put on the truck on Monday to be delivery to store" so wk 5 I call "not here yet!!" So I tell who ever I talk to I don't want the sectional anymore. Sales man calls the next day to inform me "his Boss said" if I do a refund on the sectional I will only get 1/2 of my deposit back"!!! So I expressed my frustration in the whole situation explain the whole situation to him (which there was an situation with the recliner also) and he informs me. "The only thing he is guilty of his being optimistic " & "you only have 5 days left" Very unhappy about this I ask to speak to "his Boss" never got a name. Expecting a call back from "his boss" that is not what I got the "sales rep" called me back stating my boss told me to reiterate "if you return the sectional you will get half of your deposit back". I asked the sales rep "your boss couldn't call me back himself????" This just confirms to me that customer service at Morgan furniture on Youngstown Warren Road in Niles Ohio is not important at all just making the sale and $$$$!!! . I completely feel like I was nothing but a $$. I will never rent from this place after I pay my furniture off because I'm not gonna lose out on money because the "sales rep" and "his boss" shouldn't be working in customer service!!! my recliner yes I purchased a recliner. I sat it in the store it was comfortable it still is when sitting. I didn't lounge back in the recliner. That's my fault. I got it home a week later I called because it's very uncomfortable when I lay back in it because it's too large for me, I have to put a pillow under me in a 1400 brand new piece of furniture to relax in it but I was told that there's no returns after 24 hours because it's considered dirty I just want to voice my experience with this place because it's been very bad for the last six weeks and I want to scourge anyone from going here would not recommend and many other places to go in Niles to get furniture!!!! read more

So, here's the deal. A lot of furniture is junk. Some reviewer on Google actually gave this place one star because she thought the salespeople should have come to her house to make sure the piece would fit in the door. Just mull that one over for a second. People are so dumb, it physically pains me. As for these warranties everyone else is mentioning, did you read them? Were they in writing? You could pursue this legally, if so. I'm guessing it's just a bunch of proles who didn't read what they were signing. Whatever. Don't blame your idiocy on a business. Hur-dur, my recliner with built-in drink holders broke because I'm too fat! Stupid Morgan's! They shoulda come up 'ere and fixed it! We special-ordered a sectional (which is actually a good name-brand with its own company warranty) through Scott, our salesperson. It couldn't have been a better experience. My new leather reclining couch was delivered by two very competent gentlemen from Morgan Furniture. I received a call 20 minutes before they arrived to alert me to the delivery. We bought a recliner at the end of January from Morgan Furniture. When we got it delivered it was broken. It took weeks to get someone here to look at it. When the repairman was here he said that it needed parts ordered. I called and expressed my displeasure again on getting a broken recliner. They said the parts should be here by the first week of March. That time comes and goes so I call and was informed it was now April. I demand a new recliner be delivered. Today I get a call and was told they have the parts and will pick it up Tuesday and bring it back sometime Thursday. I tell them that's unacceptable and wanted to speak with the owner again. He never called me so I called the store on my way home from work and he answered. He said he doesn't have time to call customers back. He then goes he's tired of customers beating him up. I ask how was I beating him up since he delivered me broken Furniture. He then stated that he has employees so he doesn't have to deal with angry customers. By those statements he is a horrible businessman. I'll never give Morgan Furniture my money again. Supposedly he is picking the recliner up Tuesday and is going to inspect it and it it's in good shape he'll bring us back a new recliner the same day. I'm not getting my hopes up. read more

My elderly mother has given this racist company numerous chances to correct the way they treated her she had an issue about two years ago with a mattress and the people were very rude and sent her a dirty mattress it probably was used and then about a month ago she ordered a couch and a love seat there was no issue with that however a couple weeks after that she ordered two end tables they told her that it would take 4 to 6 weeks that then passed no product she called and they told her that it was going to take another 8 to 10 weeks after she had paid $600 down on these end tables they had her money And kept prolonging her product I understand this is Covid however she had no issues with getting her couch and her loveseat on time it's been over two months and she still has yet to get her products which is not her fault Morgan furniture is not taking up their end of the bargain she called several times and two women were very rude and ignorant with her she also asked to speak to the manager Mr. Morgan and every time they would say that he wasn't available or that he was on the phone with someone else this is horrible business my mother will never do business with this company again then they gave her a hard time with giving her her money back she got several different answers One person told her that they would send her a check she never got the check then another person told her that they will put in her bank account but yet it would take three weeks! It had to take for me to get her bank and a rude woman from Morgan furniture on the phone together to finally get her money in her account! This has been the worst experience ever! this place has become the worst place to shop, they make promises they can't keep and when you do finally get your furniture it comes broken, when you call because it's under warranty they give you excuse after excuse that the part is being ordered it will be in the next couple days and then you never hear from them. you keep calling and you get same excuse and still never hear from them... I ordered furniture in October was supposed to receive it in December didn't get it til mid February and received it broken, here it is almost end of April and I still have broken Furniture... Morgan Furniture has terrible customer service. They sent us broken furniture two times, scratched furniture one time and the total wrong product one time. To add to this they charged us $400 7 months after the original purchase day. Morgan Furniture offered absolutely nothing to us to resolve this issue. BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS!! We wanted to make our own judgement! BELIEVE THEM! While the store had a great selection, my frame broke after being sat on about 12 times. Clearly a manufacturer defect. They took my couch to repair, brought it back still broke. The repairman came out, and still insisted it wasn't broke. I had to get a level to prove the wood was split. Was told 4 weeks to get part, was unable to use my couch for whole holiday season. 6 weeks later, not hearing anything, I had to call to find out what was going on. I requested a new couch as this was only 4 months old. Spoke with owner, he said would take 8 months to get new couch, he would personally make sure this was fixed right. They brought my sofa back, the frame is fixed but the fabric looks awful and like a toddler stapled it. Not like a new couch. I called and requested the new couch again, and was told they would reach out to their rep and see what could be done. I heard from them and got the same "the rep is looking into it, we just wanted to keep you updated". And now haven'T heard anything for almost 2 months. Horrible customer service!! The consumer shouldn't have to keep reaching out, the company should be trying to make things right! read more

I am skeptical about this place after my experience here. I ordered a set of 2 end tables, a coffee table, and two couches in the second week of May. The salesman told me it would take about 4-8 weeks to come in, which is no problem. I was told on Friday, June 26th that my coffee and end tables were ready for pick-up, so I scheduled my pick-up time for the following day at 1 pm. When I arrived, the employees proceeded to tell me that they forgot to pick up my tables from the warehouse, so I had to follow them there. (meanwhile, I had just driven an hour to the store to pick them up). When I got home and started to assemble my tables, I realized they were a different color AND style than what I had initially ordered. When I called to inquire about why they were different, the salesman told me because my table had been discontinued. Also, they told me on Friday that my couches weren't scheduled to be done being MANUFACTURED until August. I understand that COVID-19 put a stop to manufacturing operations, but the salesman never should've promised me delivery in 4-8 weeks if they can't hold up to it. I am most disappointed that my tables are different than what I had picked out. I would've been more understanding if I had been told that the table was discontinued, or if they could've picked up the phone and called me to tell me. My father bought a recliner from them, and it was his first time getting warranty on a chair. Well the part that you put your feet on is now messed up. So he goes in to get that fixed, and they tell him the company that gave him the warranty with the chair no longer exits, and Morgan Furniture can't do anything about it. I do not understand why you are having warranty company's just leave, and then it makes you look bad, and then you say you can''t do anything about it? BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My parents purchased a recliner from them, it took 6 weeks to be delivered. Three months after delivery, I receive a frantic call from my Mother saying the chair is INFESTED with bugs. I come over to look and find a relatively new recliner infested with an entire life cycle of bed bugs. The underside and every crevice was crawling with them. I removed the chair from the house and inspected every piece of furniture in the house finding nothing. I went to the store to discuss the situation with them, waited about an hour for them to open and began to discuss the situation with them. The staff in the store was very sympathetic and understanding, to the point I figured they would call my Father and make arrangements to fix this. NOT!!! After waiting nearly a day and a half, I called the store; upon identifying myself was immediately placed on hold to be transferred. The person I needed to talk to was not in and would return my call when she arrived - 2 hours NO CALL. I then proceeded to call again, spoke to MR MORGAN.who had NO KNOWLEDGE of the situation. I relayed the timeline to him, even explaining in detail the infestation and lack of any bugs throughout the house. His reply was they dont sell bed bug infested furniture, regularly exterminate their warehouse and due to the timeline would not be doing ANYTHING. Needless to say I am in need of furniture now and WON'T BE DOING ANYTHING with Morgans. read more
