I have known the present store in Ravenna and three personnel who work there for the last few years since I purchased a set of Speed Queen washers and dryer with the help of Bob Scheatzle who has been most helpful and honest and dedicated to making sure that he answers my questions. Myers appliance store has-been my favorite independent appliance store for many years like when they had a store in Stow, Ohio last century. I met Bob for the first time at the Ravenna store and I like his manner of dealing with me as a customer. He is courteous and polite and doesn't talk a lot. He is not a fast talking salesman. Bob Scheatzle allows the customer to begin and direct the conversation and talk. He does not dominate the conversation and he does not crowd you out from talking about your subjects with him. He is rather quiet but informed about many aspects of appliances. He has been most patient with me. He is indeed knowledgeable about appliances that I ask him to describe to me. On a few occasions Josh has helped me learn about certain appliances and he has taken me to the show room to pin point specific features. Frank on one occasion did explain at length at my request the details for installing and making work a Speed Queen washer with certain modifications. In short these personnel who have served me have been honest and trustworthy. I do indeed Iike to see the smaller or compact Danby refrigerators and freezers as well as the Speed Queen washers and dryers on display. I have received lengthy explanations about the workings of the Speed Queen washers and dryers. Choice of appliances is not overwhelming but these people promise to service what they sell to you. So many of the bells and whistles and ribbons that decorate large commercial stores are not to be found here. Nobody is offering me a free ice cream cone for looking three times at a new appliance. I frequently get good service directed to me as I am often the only customer there for a short time. In many respects this store is much better for this reason and other reasons. Josh and Bob and Frank have been patient and helpful with me reviewing conversations and details already covered during previous visits. I did buy two small compact red Danby refrigerators and dehumidifiers in addition to the new Speed Queen unit. Delivery was careful, prompt and courteous as the crew did extra things to accommodate me for installation and delivery. I have been visiting the Ravenna store many times since then in large part because I like the personnel who know me and treat me with respect and display courtesy and knowledge. You should give these people a chance to serve you. read more

We were looking for a washer and dryer made to last and were disappointed in the offerings and customer service in the big box stores. I talked with a salesman named Bob who explained the details of the Speed Queen washer and dryer. The Speed Queen was not available in the big box stores. Bob was a nice salesman who spent a lot of time showing me not only the Speed Queen but other brands and other appliances as well. He was very knowledgable and welcomed questions. Also thankfully he wasn't at all pushy. In another store that I checked out I walked through every aisle of appliances twice and the two salespeople in the department never even acknowledged me, they just sat on two chairs and talked to each other the whole time. I ended up going back to purchase the Speed Queen at Myers and hope it will live up to it's great reputation. The appliances were delivered as promised and I was called twice on the day of delivery: first call in the morning was to give us the estimated time of delivery and the second call was to tell us the truck would arrive in about fifteen to twenty minutes. Joe and Kenny were the installers/delivery team. Both were polite and efficient. There were no problems with the set up, no wobbling or leaks or dents or damage to the floor. Joe spent considerable time with us explaining the features of the washer and dryer, answering our questions, and sharing some general information about appliances. He was experienced and it showed. The only negative I have is that I wished Myers was still in Stow. It's not hard to find in Ravenna but it's more of a drive. Still, two thumbs way up for the appliances and the employees. read more

The purchase price was attractive for a Speed Queen washer and dryer. What was impressive was the included installation. In the Basement; needing longer hoses for everything; including the gas for the dryer as well as supply and drain hoses for the washer. The care taken to move the old out and the new in was impressive. The two guys were very careful to make sure nothing was damaged, they had tight corners and difficult work. Twice, with each piece of equipment ( 2 out and 2 in) the hand truck and whatever was on it need to be physically picked up and walked down three steps and rotated 90 degrees. No grumbling, but joked about the exercises today's install would replace! When things break and money has to be spent to replace AND nothing ever seems to go right, Meyers Appliance and their crew were outstand! We got a great product for a great price and it was a painless process. RECOMMEND HIGHLY!! read more

Javier was courteous and professional when I spoke to him about a new top-load washer. I had researched several models and Myers had a few of them in stock. Javier showed them to me and we discussed the differences between them. However, the quality of these machines was not what I was expecting as they had many plastic parts and their life cycles made it difficult to justify their cost. Then Javier showed me the Speed Queens. That sealed the deal. Well made with metal parts and a warranty to back it up. For a nominal fee Myers delivered the washer to the house, installed it and hauled the old one away. The two gentlemen who did this were also courteous and professional and ran the washer through a basic wash cycle to make sure it was working properly. I would not hesitate to shop at Myers Appliance again because of their outstanding customer service and their ability to service what they sell. read more

The Maytag washer and dryer I purchased from a big box store both lived a very short life and were complete garbage. I decided it was time to step it up so I went to Myers Appliance and, at different times, purchased a Speed Queen Washer and Dryer. I love them both! The sales process was easy and straight forward with no games. The delivery on both appliances was great. When my next appliance need arises, I will return to Myers Appliance. Now, I have to say something about my Speed Queen washer. It does NOT wobble no matter what I put in it. I can wash one pillow with zero wobble when it spins. I can wash a heavy quilt with zero wobble. The counter-balance in the Speed Queen washer is amazing. Myers Appliance is amazing! read more

Although I had to wait a bit longer than I would have liked for an appointment (they were short a service tech due to injury), it wasn't a big deal because my dryer problem didn't stop me from using it. The technician that came out was very professional, informative (maybe TOO informative as I didn't really care about the "why"!), personable, and fixed the problem the first time. I buy most of my appliances from Myers Appliance and have always received great products and service from them which is why I chose to wait for an appointment. I wanted an LG DLE3200 dryer. Mike explained that there was a 1 month backlog on this and recommended the DLE3600 model which was in warehouse. So ok, but he explained that the pedastal that I wanted with it would take 2 weeks to come in. So I ordered the two items. I was kept informed of the order progress and promptly told when all items were in. Delivery and installation were quick and easy (for me anyway - they had to remove one of the banisters to get the dryer downstairs). I love my new dryer and recommend Myers Appliance to anyone. Purchased wall oven, exhaust fan, microwave and dishwasher from Meyers. Everything was available in stock at great prices! (Unlike other retailers with long wait times.) Was easy to schedule install with installer Meyers works with and install went great even requiring trimming quartz countertop and rerouting water lines for dishwasher. Can't recommended Meyers highly enough. They were so helpful with making additions to my order and providing product information. Will definitely always get my appliances from them! this is an overdue review but " hats off " to Myers service technician Jamal, who diagnosed & fixed our Bosch dishwasher the first week of March. He went through all the options of what we could do and then recommended his best option. This is now the second time that Jamal worked on our appliances as he fixed our ice machine dispenser on our GE refrigerator a couple of years ago and again went thru the options and then recommended the best. That is a true service technician and why we have bought our appliances thru Myers. read more

Myers Appliance continues to impress. They have been around for a long time. My parents bought appliances from them. We recently purchased a Speed Queen washer and dryer from them. The purchase was hassle free and delivery was prompt with very courteous installers. I cannot speak highly enough about the service I have gotten from Myers appliance over the years. I work in the retail service industry so i know a little about it. (30yrs) The service tech they sent to my house was 2nd to none. Best service i have seen from anyone in this area. Called before they came out, were on time and courteous. Went through the basics of why certain parts breakdown and the basic maintenance to help them last longer. He was very thorough and upfront about the basic costs and fees. No surprises! I have never used them before but i can tell you i have them on speed dial now. Great service! read more

My wife and I stopped in and happened to speak with the owner himself who had a contracted repairman come and see what problem we were having with our double wall unit oven. Repairman found the fault. But gave us more than what the owner said we would be charged. We called the owner and he said apologized and made it Right without any problems or hassle. We needed a new Whirlpool gas stove, in white. Researching through various stores, Myers Appliance had the best price, and was recommended to us by a friend. Now, we were told from the beginning that it was going to take a long time to get this stove because of Covid. Myers kept us posted frequently, and we were surprised it came in earlier than expected. I would not purchase major appliances anywhere else. You just don't get the same service and support from the big box stores. Very happy with the delivery & installation of my new washer & dryer. The delivery men were very thorough & careful bringing my old washer & dryer out of the house & bringing the new ones in.
