Literally I started going here and I got stopped going through TSA because one of the TSA girls needed to know if my lashes were extensions and if they were where I got them done. I've been getting lashes for apx 6 years now and I'm more used to having one dedicated lash girl...but this place takes training and technique so seriously that I just book online with whoever is first available because they're ALL THAT GOOD! Julie was the first gal that ever did my lashes here - she was transitioning me from having seen another lash artist for a while a did a FLAWLESS job giving me a really full, dramatic classic set. I've seen Robin a few times, she helped transition me from classic to volume and was so fantastic at understanding what I wanted and also what would look best on me based on eye/face shape/lash line etc. I love that she's meticulous! Akira is the gal I see most often and she is just freaking amazing. She's so much fun to spend time with while being the most professional, thorough perfectionist (the dream qualities of a lash artist!!) I joked once that I always leave her feeling super vain because I go home and take a million selfies but IT'S TRUE. She gets exactly how far she can push the drama on my volume set without making it look overdone. Also...okay, you should never be late, but once I WAS late and she took extra time to make sure I was still at 100% fullness when I left. It was so so kind of her to do when I was the one that messed up and was late. I'm in love. Morgan is a dang master and I adore her so much. I'm amazed at how much knowledge she has of her craft and how passionate she is! She has great advice to give about lashes and skincare and ... of course ... does flawless work. I don't know what EXACTLY she does that's so subtly different when it comes to lengths/widths/overall shape but I've never looked better. I've gotta brag on Morgan for a bit. My lashes look divine! She was very friendly throughout the whole process and made me feel right at home. From beginning to end, she was professional and answered any (and every) question I threw at her. I typically like to wear the type of lashes that look very intense (but hate the process of applying the strip lashes every morning). After a session with Morgan, I feel that my lashes look "dramatic" without being overly "fake." I had the opulent lashes where 2 thin lashes are applied to one lash (good for individuals with sparse lashes aka Asian decent). I literally wake up, apply a bit of liner and my makeup is done! It's a dramatic difference from before. I am looking forward to getting them filled in a few weeks. Morgan truly is a professional in her line of work. This was less than 24 hours later. Not a Profesional costumer service, the first time was good, but the second time I had lashes bothering me all night because the glue was to close to my eye and some lashes came off in this same area do to me not being able to handle the discomfort and trying to get some relief. Next day I contacted Morgan about this matter and she gave me a tremendous attitude about replacing them and telling me how she runs her bussiness. Really? I have paid $388 dollars in less than a month and this is how she treats me? Latter she offered to put in 4 lashes, but do to her attitude towards me I honestly prefer going somewhere else, it will be very uncomfortable going there knowing she did not want it to do it. To bad some people that work with people don't have people skills. Never again. Later she replied to this review saying that she was not going to allow her bussiness to get bullied in to redoing services. Seriously? The next day? What about the fact that I was uncomfortable? I don't know if she thinks is enjoyable going there again or what. OMG!!! I'm so thankful I have found Morgan. I've been an eyelash extension wearer for 5 years. After a few "bad" experiences I believe I've finally found the BEST in the business. Never has anyone taken the time to discuss the health and quality of my lashes. Three weeks prior to having my lash extensions done by Morgan, she examined my lashes - took pictures - and not only explained to me - she showed me how damaged my lashes were as a result of poor experiences before. Although I had to wait three three weeks (in part to have all the old extensions fall off, scheduling, and time to give my lashes a chance to grow), it was worth the wait! Morgan took her time and designed a look for me that gives me as much volume as possible yet while using a 0.3 weight that will enable my natural lash to continue to grow and get stronger. I would never go anywhere else for lashes. My friends love to brag about their cheaper lash extensions but then guess who ends up needing a break every few weeks due to damage I have never once experienced breakage or irritation from this place, in fact I usually fall asleep during the appointment!! Super relaxing and nobody can tell my lashes are fake. They just say how amazing my lashes are and call me lucky. Then I always refer them to Lash Designory. I've been here a couple times for skincare services. The first time I received a hydrafacial from Robyn. The second time I got a facial with Lauryn. Both were very knowledgeable and personable. I learned a lot of tips from them and learning things about my skin and how to take care of it with my recent acne breakouts. Lauryn recommended some skincare products for acne that they use there for home use. Some weren't offered in the office, so they ordered it for me and had it shipped to my home. I do not usually write reviews but I was disappointed enough by my last THREE experiences with the lash designory that I felt sharing was appropriate. I have been a long time client of Morgan's (the owner) and have been going to her since she was in a back room at a shady salon on the west side. I have since followed her to two more locations being the loyal customer that I am. I have happily referred her many clients over the years because she did great lash work and was a pleasant and enjoyable person to interact with. I've also spent thousands of dollars on lashes with her. About a year ago I had to take a break from lashes because mine had been damaged and then once they were healthy again, I went straight back to Morgan. This is where the disappointment starts. I had to wait at least a month to get an appointment because she only had one lash artist working part time. Ok that's fine, went to Nandi who did a great job on my lashes the first time but my second appointment with her was cancelled last minute and I was told via text by Morgan to rebook myself!! This is her business, wouldn't you think she would want to make sure her clients are taken care of? I was annoyed by the lack of concern but needed my lashes done so I booked with whoever was subbing in that didn't do the greatest of work and after my service I got another rude message from Morgan telling me that I needed to make sure I book my next appointment in 3 weeks max or she would charge me for a full set. My appointment was already set for 3 weeks, so again I found this rude. My next visit is the straw that broke the camels back and made me realize that Morgan really just doesn't care anymore about her loyal clients and supporters of her business. I had a 60 minute service scheduled for a lash fill. When I got there the lash artist said I need something called a lash bath. I had not had this before and she didn't mention it would take away from the time she would need to fill my lashes or cost me any more money so I went with whatever she was doing. At the end of the hour she said okay that's it, the lash bath took away 10 minutes from your time for your lash fill so this is all I can do and then charged me $15 extra dollars to pour some foam and water over my eyes. This was so ridiculous!! I told her it was unfair to charge me for this given I didn't ask for it and didn't know it would cost $15 plus take away from time I am paying for to fill my lashes. Morgan came out of the room and instead of apologizing for the miscommunication she started arguing with me and telling me this is what she's always done and charged for. She was basically lying to my face because I've never paid $15 in all of the years I've gone to her for her to pour foam & water on my eyes. Morgan has definitely changed into a different person in recent times who apparently can be rude to clients and feel that it's okay. Before I wrote this review I found that I'm not the only person who feels this way. I am sorry to say I can no longer recommend The Designory. read more

I was immediately impressed with their photos and website descriptions. I did initially think the cost was a bit high, but as they saying goes, "you get what you pay for" and I am a firm believer, that investing in yourself has no price-tag. From the first moment I encountered Morgan and Robin---I felt assured and confident that I had made the right choice. I opted to get the Classic Posh extensions by Robin and was left AMAZED. I have always deemed my eyes as one of my best assets, and having lash extensions have improved their appearance by 1000%. Morgan was so friendly and thorough in answering any questions I had.
