In this trip, we lived in treehouses (literally), rode horses through the jungle, hiked to an amazing waterfall, rode quads on an empty and gorgeous beach, took a boat ride to a private island, and zip lined through a jungle just to name a few of the activities. She's an excellent travel planner, organizer, and wonderful person to be around. She does a great job at creating a welcoming environment for everyone on the group trip and on both of my experiences, I left each trip with new friendships that I still have today. I can't say enough amazing things about my experiences in these two trips and I'm excited for my next trip with her to Madagascar! The seats booked were in the wrong order, as well as she booked tickets without booking seats on a flight, not sure why but you normally book seats when you book the tickets. The biggest issues were that the itinerary we were given was lacking information like the name of the and number for the company that was picking us up from the hotel and transferring us to the airport. In this case the driver was 20 minutes late due to being at the wrong hotel and we had no way of contacting them or the company. Also the plan was to have us picked up 2 hours before our flight out of the country and that should have been arranged for at least 4 hours prior, we almost completely missed our flight due to this mistake, we were scrambling and rushing, of course we were relying on our agent for this and it made for a terrible ending to an overall wonderful trip. Needless to say I would not recommend Lorraine or Altour for your trip booking in the future.

Right from the get go the staff welcomes your group and is telling you instructions to take care of yourself, your group and the caves/park. They greet you with enthusiasm and you learn so much. Please arrive on time! For parking there's quite a bit of spaces. There's restroom nearby so you can go before heading out. You can bring your backpack onto the trail but can't bring it inside the cave. So you can either bring it and leave it on the floor outside the cave or in your car. The trail can be a little challenging for some but very doable. Can be a little challenging for some children and some older adults. This also includes for the caves.The staff are there to watch for your safety but they do warn you about your surroundings. The cave is very cool to explore but there will be some tight spaces you will navigate through. So I don't recommend bringing a stroller and make sure your kids are able to walk and stay near. They will definitely enjoy the cool nature stuff inside! There's a gift shop stand near the entrance of the trail. You can buy nice souvenirs, snacks, and support! Overall we loved our tour and we would comeback again for this. Thank you to all the staff of Crystal Cave for all that you do and taking care of this natural beauty.

We drove up to Glacier Point and all around Yosemite Valley. We picked up the car at about 10 am and returned it around 7 pm. Fun to drive and we enjoyed feeling like we could reach out and touch the trees with the top down, allowing us to truly enjoy the park. So many people smiled and waved as we drove by. David was really a pleasure to deal with. He gave us a great driving lesson before we left. This was certainly one of the best vacation days we have ever had. What a smile it put onto our faces!! David, Thanks for the great memories and photos! David also offers Model T driving lessons. The next day we took an hour lesson with him on some back country paved and dirt roads. The Model T takes some special talents. Lots of fun. Such a great experience!

Looking for a unique thing to do in Yosemite? Want to experience Yosemite the way people did…read more90-100 yrs ago? Well, I just rented a model T with my wife and spent the day doing just that! This activity is very cool. You rent a model T for $450 a day, take a 30-60 minute lesson on driving it (it's not at all like a modern cars, so you actually have to learn how to drive it), and then you are off! During my lesson the owner actually let me drive the model T though a small creek, what a thrill! Also, as part of the package you get a satellite phone just in-case the car has any problems (it is 90 years old after all) and the owners will come pick you and the car up should anything go wrong. It was a lot of fun driving the T and it made me realize how difficult it must have been for people to drive to and in Yosemite before modern cars and roads. If you have never driven an antique car before or are looking for something a bit more unique, this one is well worth the cost. Have fun!

We took advantage of the whole experience Zephyr offers and camped the night before as well as doing the 2 day rafting experience. The King's River Base camp Zephyr has is an all inclusive experience depending on what options you choose to purchase from them. The staff cam provided everything including tents if needed so that you can focus on having fun rafting. Not only are the guides excellent at navigating the river and tailoring the experience to all levels they are amazing camp cooks too! If you have never been white water rafting before this is the perfect place to get your feet wet, and if you are experienced you will enjoy the ease of rafting with these folks!
