Hilda plans trips that are exciting and fun whether your a new or an experienced traveler. One of my favorite trips in all of my life has been to the Dominican Republic with her. In this trip, we lived in treehouses (literally), rode horses through the jungle, hiked to an amazing waterfall, rode quads on an empty and gorgeous beach, took a boat ride to a private island, and zip lined through a jungle just to name a few of the activities. She's an excellent travel planner, organizer, and wonderful person to be around. She does a great job at creating a welcoming environment for everyone on the group trip and on both of my experiences, I left each trip with new friendships that I still have today. I can't say enough amazing things about my experiences in these two trips and I'm excited for my next trip with her to Madagascar! I am an experienced traveler who loves to take adventurous vacation where I get to really explore the place I visit and these two trips with Hilda have exceeded my expectations of group trips. I highly recommend her travel services and if I could give her more than five stars, I would. P.S The picture attached are not photoshopped in any way. This is just how gorgeous the locations she took us to where.

The seats booked were in the wrong order, as well as she booked tickets without booking seats on a flight, not sure why but you normally book seats when you book the tickets. We had a wonderful time on our trip and the hotels they booked were Spectacular! The The Activities that were booked were great as well and all the people used were very good and we enjoyed them and had a great time. The biggest issues were that the itinerary we were given was lacking information like the name of the and number for the company that was picking us up from the hotel and transferring us to the airport. In this case the driver was 20 minutes late due to being at the wrong hotel and we had no way of contacting them or the company. Also the plan was to have us picked up 2 hours before our flight out of the country and that should have been arranged for at least 4 hours prior, we almost completely missed our flight due to this mistake, we were scrambling and rushing, of course we were relying on our agent for this and it made for a terrible ending to an overall wonderful trip. Needless to say I would not recommend Lorraine or Altour for your trip booking in the future.

The walk down to the cave is about a half-mile and fairly steep, but it's absolutely worth it. The beautiful waterfall along the trail was an unexpected highlight and made the hike even more enjoyable. Crystal Cave itself is amazing and well worth the visit. The formations are incredible, and the tour provides fascinating insight into the cave's history and geology. The ticket price is very reasonable, and knowing that the proceeds help support conservation and educational programs makes it even better. I highly recommend Crystal Cave to anyone visiting the area! Maybe you'll be lucky snd AJ will be your guide too!

My boyfriend is very interested in exploring different caves & caverns and I thought this would be a fun weekend getaway for us. There is a long trail down to the mouth of the cave, the decent is not too bad, but it is quite a trek back up. The trail is about half a mile to the cave opening and half a mile back up. When you check in for your tour (tickets are not sold at the cave and must be purchased in advance) they go over some safety information and tour information. The staff has you cleanse the soles of your shoes prior to heading down to the cave to help prevent white nose syndrome to the bats that inhabit the cave. On the trail down there are many beautiful sights including waterfalls. I would recommend stopping at the sights on the way back up when breaks from the steep trail will be needed. The trail back up is not the most difficult we have endured, but it is up there on the list due to the steepness of the path. There is a large area at the mouth of the cave for the tour group to gather with the guide who is waiting at the gate for you. No items besides cameras and plastic water bottles are permitted within the cave and must be left outside the gate during your 50 minute cave tour. There is a large gate that the guide will unlock and you will walk through to enter the cave. The gate is a huge spiderweb with a large spider in the center, it was really wicked. Crystal Cave has crystal clear water running through it, you could see the marble that is natural there that the water has washed out over the years, as well as many stalagmites & stalactites, cave bacon, cave popcorn and many other interesting formations that have taken hundreds of thousands of years to form. Among the many caverns & caves we have toured this one was very different with the marble and flowing water within. Shirley was our tour guide, and though she was new she was so passionate and knowledgeable about the cave!

We drove up to Glacier Point and all around Yosemite Valley. We picked up the car at about 10 am and returned it around 7 pm. Fun to drive and we enjoyed feeling like we could reach out and touch the trees with the top down, allowing us to truly enjoy the park. So many people smiled and waved as we drove by. David was really a pleasure to deal with. He gave us a great driving lesson before we left. This was certainly one of the best vacation days we have ever had. What a smile it put onto our faces!! David, Thanks for the great memories and photos! David also offers Model T driving lessons. The next day we took an hour lesson with him on some back country paved and dirt roads. The Model T takes some special talents. Lots of fun. Such a great experience!

Looking for a unique thing to do in Yosemite? Want to experience Yosemite the way people did…read more90-100 yrs ago? Well, I just rented a model T with my wife and spent the day doing just that! This activity is very cool. You rent a model T for $450 a day, take a 30-60 minute lesson on driving it (it's not at all like a modern cars, so you actually have to learn how to drive it), and then you are off! During my lesson the owner actually let me drive the model T though a small creek, what a thrill! Also, as part of the package you get a satellite phone just in-case the car has any problems (it is 90 years old after all) and the owners will come pick you and the car up should anything go wrong. It was a lot of fun driving the T and it made me realize how difficult it must have been for people to drive to and in Yosemite before modern cars and roads. If you have never driven an antique car before or are looking for something a bit more unique, this one is well worth the cost. Have fun!

They worked with us every step of the way, giving us tons of options and tailoring the trip to suit our interests, energy level, and budget. They were also there for us when we were actually abroad: any snafus or travel hiccups, they were just a quick message away on their app. Their clear and timely communication made everything so much less stressful than it could have been. Every boutique hotel, tour, and recommendation for restaurants and activities were perfect and extremely high quality (and we had a pretty jam-packed agenda!). I would be remiss not to mention that this is all at the tail-end of the pandemic, where covid restrictions were constantly changing and different in seemingly every country/airport. They helped us be prepared for every possibility. As fate would have it, we both got covid days before our trip and had to cancel. Not only did Craig and his team cancel our entire trip and help us get our refund from the travel insurance, but they worked nonstop with us to reschedule our entire itinerary for the following month (in the very busy summer months!!). So, needless to say, the quality of their service was absolutely worth the price, and the trip experience they put together for us was priceless.
