We came in seriously interested in purchasing one of the newer AMG models, but were told we could not test drive any of their AMGs due to concerns about depreciation from added mileage. That's frankly absurd in my opinion - this is a dealership selling high-performance vehicles, not a museum. I might understand that logic for something like a Ferrari or Rolls-Royce, but a Mercedes? You've got to be kidding me. We made it clear that we would not purchase any vehicle without test driving it. Their response was that a test drive would only be allowed if we first sat down to discuss pricing. When I asked how that would somehow prevent "depreciation", especially if we weren't even planning to buy that specific AMG anyway, they couldn't provide a coherent answer. It came across as a weak excuse to control the sales process rather than a legitimate policy. For comparison, the Mercedes dealership in Bayside, Queens had no issue allowing AMG test drives, so this is clearly not a brand-wide policy, but rather a specific policy of this location. We then asked to speak with a manager to better understand the reasoning. The manager literally came out but chose to ignore us after standing behind us for a few minutes. To me, this level of disregard for serious potential buyers is completely unacceptable. If this is how they treat customers before a sale, I can only imagine what happens afterward. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere if you're looking for a professional, transparent, and respectful car-buying experience.

Being that we both just got off of work, we both were tired already. It started bad from the beginning. We pulled into the driveway for service. Instead of instead of helping my mother and I first being that we pulled in first, they skipped her and tended to the person the came in after. Red flag already. My mother is not able to stand very long so we asked for a seat, not knowing of the waiting room upstairs because no one mentioned it at first. We then was told about the waiting room upstairs. We proceeded. They offered snacks, tea, coffee, and water. It was super quiet up there because television was not on and people realized that the remote control was not in sight. Every tried to stay as quiet as possible even while trying to converse. We were told that we would get a text when the service is complete. Okay no problem. Some people up there in the room got their text I'm assuming because they left. More and more people filled in the room. My mother and I both napped a bit due to boredom and tiredness from our work shift. I woke up and looked at the time and realized we were in here too long for just an oil change. I told my mother, I would go check to see if the car is ready. I went to the front desk and asked about my mother's car. They said the car is ready of course I was very upset at that point just ready to get out of there. Why didn't she get a text or a call that her vehicle was serviced and done? I didn't like any exp experience there except for the provided snacks but all dealerships do that. So that's nothing new. I would not recommend this location one bit. Please do better. I'm not caring about myself but my mother did NOT deserve that kind of service.

An important part of me selecting this car was the help, patience and expertise of my salesman, Claudio Perez. About 2 months ago I was thinking of getting a Kia Carnival. As soon as I asked Claudio about the car he said go, take it for a ride. No heavy sales pressure just letting me see what I thought. After going through the numbers and coming to the conclusion I did not need that big of a car I told Claudio I was not interested. Still needing another car I began researching the Sportage. After letting Claudio know I was going to stop by to see it he immediately had the car in the front of the lot for me to look at. I had test drove it a month before but he insisted I test drive it again to make sure it was what wanted. When it finally got down to the nitty gritty of $, Claudio was fair, patient and gave me a good deal. I ended up with more options than I expected at a price I was comfortable with. The day I had to pick up the car Claudio could not have been more helpful. With a few glitches in the day we didn't get there till 45 minutes before closing. Then there were some paperwork problems on my end. Through it all Claudio had a smile on his face and kept reassuring me not to worry, all is fine. After the business end of everything was completed, well after closing time, Claudio spent another 1/2 hour going over the car. Thank you Claudio for making my car purchase a very pleasant experience.

I have made every attempt to resolve several issues with this dealership to no avail all the way up…read morethrough the General Manager for the last month. Finally I had it and contacted the Attorney General's Office and the BBB. Below I will put just a brief summary which is VERY brief about all the hell this dealership put me through. I do not recommend this dealership. Stay away! I dealt with Jonathan Hernandez, the asst sales manager; Kendra Juerakhan, the Sales Manager and finally the Tim McGilley, General Manager. I also requested the District Manager's contact and that was never provided. You can also see a photo attached of the vehicles mentioned below still posted on their website beware of bait and switch tactics, hidden undisclosed dealer's fee; 2% for cc charges, and much more do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs. Key Points: 1. I believe I was bait and switched. I came in for a lessor priced and base trim level of the vehicle. I was told that vehicle was no longer available. Then I was told that the next trim level (fwd) model was available for $800 less than the vehicle that was not available. Then at the very last minute I was told there was a "traction light issue" and I could not leave with that vehicle. The sales asst manager, Jonathan, said that he had a more expensive model the AWD instead of the FWD BUT that he would give me the more expensive vehicle for the same price. He did not, nor was I shown the MSRP on the contract even though I demanded to see it. The finance person Ismail Ismail told me I would get it in an email after signing. So I had no idea that the vehicle was $1600 more expensive. 2. An undisclosed dealer's fee was slipped into the contract as "cash down" for $519.19. I never agreed to pay any fees upfront let alone an undisclosed fee. I called a month in advance to ask about all fees and Jonathan never disclosed this fee. I pointed this out in the finance office and said I never agreed to pay such fee and the finance person did not remove the fee. He would only show me the bank sheet and not the final contract and even said after I pointed it out that I wouldn't see this amount on the final bank sheet because he couldn't send it to the bank. That is because he slipped it in as cash down on the final contract under line 7B (capitalization cost reduction) along with the manufacturer discount. 3. I was charged for things I never received or did not agree to pay upfront, as well as an undisclosed dealer's fee. I incurred greater charges due to unagreed upon payment due. ($50 fuel, fees, dealer fee, $50 due to higher unexpected charge could not use my bank card cause me 2% to use cc machine) 4, Unethical strong-arm and unprofessional tactics were used throughout the purchase and complaint process. **As if this couldn't get more disgusting the General Manager thought it was fit to email me about all his personal hardships. This is the most unprofessional ignorant servant of people I have ever dealt with, despicable.

Another 1 star for KARP Buick to add to their collection. Yelp should allow for zero stars…read more Terrible experience with KARP Buick. Had to bring my new car to their service department 3 times (totaling 3 weeks) in the first month of owning the car. The interior of the car was rattling and shaking. Clearly there was something wrong. Every time I brought the car to the Service department they held the car for 1 week and they stated that they fixed it, but they didn't. Per the service department bolts in the car were stripped or broken. Don't get me wrong, the service team was very nice but if the mechanics are incapable of being mechanics then who cares. The sales manager attempted to help me. She was very nice as well and gave me a trunk liner for the inconvenience. It was the wrong liner for my car and the mechanics installed it with tape. After getting the car back for the 3rd time and the service team said it was "fixed" the trunk was still rattling loudly non stop, even on smooth roads; and the mechanics completely destroyed my new rear seat cover. I received a call from the General Manager because I was trying to return the car. He spent a majority of the call telling me how amazing his mechanics are, and that if I bring it in again...for a 4th time, they will fix it. He also stated that GM would not take the car back but I could submit a claim if I wanted. I refuse to believe 4th times a charm. It does not make any sense that they couldn't fix my car the prior 3 times but on the 4th time they get it right. I traded in the car and bought a new car, not from KARP. Please note, I am not saying that Buicks are bad, they are usually a good car. I'm saying that the Buick I got was bad and that KARP Buick was terrible.

UPDATE: I recently found out more how unethical Mark acted when doing my current lease. I spoke…read morewith 3 different, unrelated leasing agents about getting out of my current lease & into a new one, & found out that the bank Mark used to get me my car has ENORMOUS penalties if you try to end your lease early - so now, a year into my lease, instead of having about $10k positive equity in the car as would be normal, my buyout is $10k MORE than the original MSRP the car cost! I'm sure he knew this was something that happened with this particular bank & he ALSO knew he was getting me out of another lease early at that time & he never bothered to inform me that if I used this bank, I would NOT be able to with this car. I now believe that when he realized that I was serious about getting another car before my current lease is up, he either purposely ignored me or quoted cars outside my budget because he knew he wouldn't be able to get me out of my current lease & didn't want to have to explain to me why. ORIGINAL: I got a car with Mark & it went OK, but there were a few issues even in the beginning. There was a lot of back & forth on getting the proper insurance paperwork. Every time I got it, he remembered something else that needed to be on there & I had to call Geico yet AGAIN to get the documents revised. It felt like it was his first time doing this when I'm sure most of these things are routine. He also didn't show up when I went to get the car, but sent his younger brother instead. When I got to see the car, the entire bottom of the trunk was scraped and both his brother & the dealer tried to deny there was any damage & only when we showed them it was indeed deeper scratches that were not going to "wax off", did they try to offer a fix. I was able to get it fixed on my own, but I didn't appreciate the leasing agent trying to lie about the damage just to make his buck. This is not the first time I've leased a car with an agent. Previous agents had already examined the car & made sure all car mats, paperwork, etc were there before I even got there. Regardless, I was still appreciative that I was able to get the car I wanted, so I gave $300 cash to Mark as an extra thank you. Now after all the business & the appreciation, with how Mark acted, you would think I'm someone who just came off the street. He has a very bad habit of reading text messages & either taking forever to respond, or, just not responding AT ALL. I tried to address this with him - I understand people can't always have an immediate answer, but at least make a point to respond within a reasonable amount of time without making the customer feel like they're running after you. I also understand that it may not be possible to give an accurate quote as to what a lease would cost until some research is done, HOWEVER if we've spoken several times already about a certain car, & you know that the original quote you gave is inaccurate, wouldn't you let me know that before wasting more of your own & my time on it? I wasted an entire day driving to different dealerships looking to test drive this car only to find out later that night that after almost 2 WEEKS of going back & forth with him, he couldn't find it in the range he had originally quoted me, even though he had supposedly been looking all that time. I continued to try to work with Mark, but being left on read so many times with zero response has left an incredibly sour aftertaste. It appears unless you are the type of client who is going to make the deal easy & not ask too many questions, they don't want to deal with you. Rather be up front & say you can't help, then ignore or string someone along. I would recommend finding an agent who will respect you and your time.
