But the wait was worth it. The ice cream (my daughter got a cyclone, I got a shake. I kinda don't know the difference as my shake had candy in it (and maybe some milk and some soft serve--while I think my daughters was all ice cream--but I'm guessing because I would have thought the cyclone would have candy while the milkshake would be all ice cream and milk...but no bother while I'm guessing my daughters had only ice cream (I was chatting with another family we met while waiting in the long line so I didn't watch too closely) but boy when I got the ice cream it was totally worth it. I got the peanut butter cup (which had some amazing on chocolate ice cream) and my daughter got the snickers...those seem pretty standard, but they weren't standard at all...they put a very well packed small bit of ice cream on top of the shake/cyclone that really looks like raw cookie dough....i don't have a picture (there may be some in yelp) but this super packed, small ice cream was the piece that turned this up a notch....it just looked so darn appealing and it was great. The owner was super jive, saying they've been open about a year (and they had a big line after me too, so that was good to see) Overall while they had maybe a dozen different ice creams (they all seemed like high quality ice cream--and I think they have a few different flavored soft serves too which is intriguing for next time..... The positives- the ice cream was great and it LOOKED incredible...and that's more than half the battle. Everyone's items looked great too which really had me hungry when our ice cream was made -- and it was worth the wait. The negatives - the menu is a wee bit confusing...basically they need a menu as the light wall isn't very clear what things are....i know you can customize things but it's hard to tell what all the customizations were -- and they had several other menu items that I wasn't exactly sure what they might be. They also had a cool looking cotton candy maker right by the check out register but it wasn't marked as a cotton candy maker and I didn't notice any menu item that used cotton candy (and we were in line a long time). I wasmt alone in this confusion as the nice couple (who were ordering with their kids) ahead of me were also a bit confused....and obviously we had to wait a bit longer than expected (which while the store was full it wasn't exactly crazy crowded like I image it would be in the middle of summer). But trust me the good far outweighed the bad...it was worth the wait. My suggestions: 1. Have a handout/ paper menu that is much more descriptive (especially here where the ice cream is not facing the I Entrance so it's hard to know in advance what ice creams they have-- and also because they seem to have some more unique than standard ice cream shop items but I kinda didn't know what they were.::: They also could have a smaller option (the Medium milk shake is pretty large and the Small Cyclone is more like a Medium elsewhere. I know many would applaud this, but I kinda like less is more with ice cream (as after so much it doesn't have that same appeal even it it tastes good :) ) My suggestions -- beyond the above:..: Play into the Scooby Doo thing legally by having things like 'The Creeper' which would be maybe a mint chocolate chip (which they didn't have bet) and the Mystery Machine or Scoopy Snack etc. just play on the name without having Scooby Doo... We will be back before the summer 2026 wraps.

I think this speaks volumes to their brewers and the amazing work they are doing. I am an IPA fan and theirs are just better than most I have had. They even released a Malort Collab and it was unbelievable. If you're simply in the market for delicious cold refreshments, they have you covered. Staff I personally have never interacted with anyone that worked here that wasn't very pleasant to interact with. Everyone has a very chill, happy energy. From the day I contact her, she has been more than accommodating with my wishes (demands) for my cupcakes and cakes for the wedding. Like most brides, I wasn't exactly sure how I wanted the cupcakes and cakes to look but Cheryl guided me through it very patiently. She sent me photos and described how she can decorate cupcakes and cakes to meet my expectations. I am so thankful Cheryl responded to my never-ending emails and was accommodating to all the changes I made leading up to the big event in my life. To be honest, I was a little hesitant to sign on with someone who is new to the business. I am so glad I trusted my sister and my taste buds (samples were amazing!). She blew me away with her decorations and presentation of cupcakes and cakes. Red velvet cake/cupcakes with chocolate chip was so tasty!! My guests were pleasantly surprised with the moisture of the cupcakes and those hidden chocolate chips!! They all thought it was delicious!! Yay! Oh, not to forget... The prices are reasonable and the food is amazing (if I haven't already said that lol) Village Inn has a small town feeling you feel welcomed when you walk in and they make you feel appreciated while you are there. Whenever my friends come visit from the city that is the only place they want to go for breakfast and we've tried other places but nothing comes close to their steak and eggs or skirt steak skillet, their pancakes and crêpes.... Amazing!

We bought steaks, sausages, bacon, ground beef, and a brisket. The 2 filet mignons we bought were cooked that night and I was blown away by the quality. The flavor was so much better than any typical store bought meat. A couple nights later, we made burgers with the ground beef and it's unanimous that the flavor was so much better than any ground beef we'd ever had before. I absolutely can't wait to try the sausages, bacon, and especially the brisket, which will be smoked this coming weekend. Needless to say, I think we will be frequent customers at Kearn's Quality Meats because, well, their meat is top notch quality. Also, they have dogs that greet you, and how can you not like that?!

My favorite to go shop for gourmet chocolates. It's very neat and clean place. They have a small cafeteria attach where you can enjoy a hot cup or frappe of different kind of coffees and frappes . They have outdoor seating weather permissible. Their cafe also offer fresh made donuts and muffins and other bakery items. They have a chocolatier where you can learn chocolate making and also hold Birthdays. They have a wide range of chocolate candies and cookies for all ages and they offer sugar free chocolates too. It's little pricey but worth it. I love going there all the time . read more

Just love this store! Been going there forever! They have moved to downtown Huntley! Nice spacious place! Lots of fresh delicious home made chocolates. We love the sugar-free choices they carry and we send them to family as gifts to those who eat sugar-free. Nice donuts, coffee and gifts! Recently, I ordered donuts for delivery from Morkes Chocolates, and they were absolutely delightful. The donuts were incredibly fresh with the perfect amount of sweetness. I also tried a blueberry lemon scone, which I devoured in two minutes because it was so delicious. These treats made my gloomy Wednesday much brighter. Highly recommend! read more
