The main lobby had vending machine both food and drinks. The women's restroom was definitely used frequently. I assume because it was afternoon on Sunday there was a high volume traffic making look of the women's restroom. The sinks and toilets were orange but that would be due to the iron in the water in these parts although one toilet was missing the seat (stall #4) and there was not a sign on the door not to use or out of service. Highly recommend that toleit seat get replaced ASAP

Plenty of restrooms with dirty well water in the bowls that makes it look not flushed. Nice area for a dog run and for kids and adults to stretch out. There's also plenty of picnic tables for a snack break too. You can see signs of spring in the 3 gardens surrounding the welcome center as well. It's nice and cool or as fancy as some I have been to in other states, like Ohio with food courts and the like, but it serves its function. It was later in the day however, so I just chalked it up to the amount of people using it, and thought maybe it hadn't be cleaned since this morning. However, after entering the bathroom, it was disgusting. The walls were dirty, the stalls had stains, and the toilets appeared as if they hadn't been cleaned since they were first put in. There was no soap in the hand dispensers, all four or so of them, the water was freezing, and the dryers were the only things that actually worked. It was a gross experience. I would rather go in the woods than this rest stop.

I was a bit nervous about what the bathroom would be like, but I was pleasantly surprised--it was very clean! They even had ice cream bars in the vending machines, which was a nice bonus. So of course, we stopped and used the bathroom and the dog was able to use the dog run plus get some fresh cold water. I sensed I was in no mans land and saw this rest stop quickly come up on the expressway. What also prompted me to stop at this one was the fact that the sign said next rest stop 43 miles?!?! Really Michigan, DO BETTER. UGH. Especially if you're driving at night and nothings open, or at the crack of down, stuff can happen in 43 miles, ya know? Anyway, so I pull in and there's a fair amount of people here doing their thing. Several places to sit and barbeques available if you want to cook something to eat. There's grassy area if you want to let the dog out, which people were doing. Inside it's like every other rest stop that I've been to around here. Ample clean bathrooms and vending machines with maps. *but* what I really loved about this one, is they have a coffee/tea vending machine! YES. Bonus points for this because I really needed a pick me up. All drinks are $1.50 which is actually really good. They have coffee, obviously, but they also have tea and a few others as well. They have pop machines along with snacks as well, but I give bonus points for the coffee because at the others I've stopped at, they don't always have them. Bathrooms were clean, and parking was good. The rest stop seemed reasonably clean and well stocked, and had two entrances which was very convenient. Would stop here again in a heartbeat.

I had a difficult time getting on it. Too high for seniors, disabled people, younger kids... Free breakfast was a treat. A lot of choices and staff were keeping serving dishes full.
