    Quality Car Wash

    Quality Car Wash

I went in this business two weeks prior to June 23 2026 and on June 23 2026. I had just purchased…read moreour 2018 Toyota Thunder SR5 4 door extended cab 4WD truck and had also had it serviced in May. There were no scratched swirl marks from on our truck and no broken side mirror. The first time we entered this car wash; both front side mirrors were pushed backward with force. My husband was driving, he opened his window and pulled his mirror back into position, I opened the front passenger window and had to use force pulling the mirror back into position. At that time, I did not get out of the truck to inspect. Then the second trip I was driving and when I went through the car wash the passenger side mirror from the car wash revolved rollers at the end was thrusted backwards again. This mirror had a crack from the previous trip and they also saw that in the camera but it did not have the paint swirl marks that was very noticeable when shutting the passenger front door. I went back and forth with emails which I save in a word document, . I asked several times in emails about the paint she refused to acknowledge any of my request. They are not an Ethical honest company. They only look for fault and reasons not to pay and file a claim with their insurance. . The refused to take ownership of the paint scratches and the broken mirror. We just bought our truck so we know this was not broken. Quality car wash claim department would not acknowledge the fact they ruin my paint on my truck or broken mirror. I also place a review on their facebook page and the removed the first review, they only want positive reviews. I took my truck to a repair shop and Collision repair shop and they also replied the swirl marks came from their rollers and the rollers are at a high speed. The person at that establishment informed me his own vehicle had some issues on his paint when he drove his car through and he would never go through it again. He told me a lot of people have had issues and good luck with trying to get Quality car wash to pay for what their rollers did. But they would try to to file a claim to them but they already warned me Quality Car wash (Tommy Express ) tries every way not to cover damage from their machines. SO checking with how fast these rollers and spin they cannot control the speed . ASKED AI which searches the entire web Drying rollers and washers in automatic car washes typically spin between 60 to 120 RPM. These rapidly spinning foam or cloth strips can act like sandpaper if they trap grit or dirt from previous vehicles, causing surface scratches and localized swirl marks on your truck's clear coat. Why Swirl Marks Happen * Trapped Debris: As the rollers spin, they drag any residual road salt, sand, or grit across your paint, inflicting fine, circular scratches. * Soft Clear Coats: Truck paints often have a clear coat that is susceptible to this kind of mechanical abrasion. * Friction & Speed: Even though the material is soft, the speed and friction of the wash are high enough to leave marks if the surface isn't perfectly lubricated and clean. How to Fix & Prevent the Damage 1. Polish the Paint: The scratches causing those swirl marks are in the top layer of your clear coat. You can have them polished out or corrected by a professional detailer. I would not recommend going through any of their car washes when they refuse to take owner ship . This is not a way to serve your customers and have customer service , I felt they were dishonest and unethical with their practices and deception

This location's wash seems to do better at reading my license plate (it contains a zero, which the…read morecomputers sometimes interpret as an O and forces a manual lookup--frustrating). I also try to leave ample space between my car and the cars behind and ahead of me. Either other drivers don't actually put their cars in neutral, or the track gets wonky because sometimes the cars can creep closer to each other. That's a nerve wracking thing to sit through while the wonderful colors are flashing in the suds rave party. Again, I adore the free vacuums, though. Thanks for those!

Needed gas and a rest stop. I wanted to stop at the Speedway, which was closer to the freeway but…read morethe lot would have made it very tricky to maneuver our van and 36 ft. travel trailer. So we drove a little further down the street to the roomier Meijer gas station. Fueled up the van as the kids and I went in to use the restroom and wash up. There was only 1 unisex bathroom so it took the 6 of us forever to go number #1. When the kids were done I grabbed a giant 44oz fountain Coke Zero for amazing deal of only $.99. That should be enough caffeine to get me through the next 3 hours. The gas att has all your convenient store needs, including roller grill items, nachos with chili and cheese dispensed by the push of a button. They have coolers of cold drinks and beer, fountain machine and a 3 flavor frozen drink machine. There was a long line of customers and the employee was in no hurry to get to the next pay customer, chatting about her gull bladder and kidney stones for everyone to hear. After that she proceeded to discuss her plans for the weekend with her friends. I nearly walked out and leaving my $1.05 on the counter, but a gentleman walked up and asked for next customer. No one in line was paying attention so I hurried to the counter. Paid and quickly left. There was a LOT of loitering outside and around this place. I'm pretty certain I may have even seen a drug deal transaction take place. Let's just say I'll never return to this place- thankfully!

Grand Rapids, you've got a cute airport!…read more There's so many windows in this airport and, even better, there's SO MANY seats to enjoy them from. High top seating, seating with tables, desk like seating, armchair and sofa like seating, swivel executive chairs... truly something for everyone. Loved the (very green) children's play area! Loved that there was a Sensory Room to support travelers sensitive to stimulants (and airports is anything more overwhelming then an airport?). From the website: "The Sensory Room is intended to provide a therapeutic setting that helps individuals feel comfortable in their surroundings. The space is designed to minimize overstimulation and provide a calm and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages with cognitive and/or development disabilities." Loved the not one, not two, but THREE Farmers Fridges. GRR doesn't have many vegan options, so having these reliable vending machines changes everything. If one is out of what you're looking for (like the Napa Chickpea Wrap which is my faaaaaaaasve), try the other fridges! Because... The airport is super walkable! Comprised of Concourse A and Concourse B, with just fourteen gates, you can explore the whole thing in a half hour or so. Also, for such a small airport, there are SO MANY BATHROOMS. Never a wait anywhere for a bathroom or a water bottle refill station. All in all, this was a pleasant airport to fly in/fly out of!
