The hubs got a Vietnamese coffee and it was delicious even to me who doesn't drink coffee. The baristas were super friendly and fast. Highly recommend this local Perry coffee spot. They had a large selection of bakery goods as well at a lunch menu that starts serving at 11am. The coffee was also pretty good. This was my first and last time at Morning By Morning Coffee. I stopped in for coffee while at the Dogwood festival and I watched what I assume is the manager or the owner berating a respectful younger customer for something that was clearly a miscommunication on her businesses side not the customers issue. Her employees were clearly uncomfortable and extremely apologetic to the customer. The manager/owner was not even willing to listen to the customer which was childish of her. It was like watching a train wreck, impossible to look away. I feel bad for this customer who seemed to be trying to enjoy a nice event. Unsure of the whole situation but actions speak loudly. Perry is a quant small town and I expect more respect and decorum from a small business owner. Her staff was lovely but I will no longer be going to Morning By Morning. read more

I stopped by here with my boyfriend after we saw how cute it was driving by last night. It's set up to look like a vintage gas station and the interior/exterior is very cute! The pimiento cheese sausage biscuit was really yummy as well as the cold brew. There were lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the shade. Oh my goodness, such a lovely experience!! Originally I had just gotten a cookies and cream scone (which btw is absolutely lovely!) Some tea and Expresso cookies, but after looking at their salads I ended up getting a spring Side salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Oh my goodness!! Its so fresh and the salad has the perfect crunch, along with the fresh cut strawberries and blueberries, it is such a wonderful combination! The people they had there were so lovely and the lady at the register helped me when picking out a drink because I got overwhelmed with the new experience. This coffee shop is a gem in Perry, Ga. The team working in the shop are there for the purpose of serving the customer! To have a staff with the level of engagement and knowledge about their products and city is beyond impressive these days. Ohhh, and about the coffee... it is roasted in house and smoothly delicious. They also have it bagged for sale so I could take a bag home to enjoy. I ordered the banana nut sticks... they are cooked in an iron pan that leaves each stick with a light crispy outside, while the inside is fluffy and melts in your mouth. Yum! read more

STOP GOING TO STARBUCKS! You need to go to Morning by Morning! First off the lavender latte was awesome! Second their chocolate chip muffin and blueberry muffin.... OMG so delicious. I honestly haven't had a muffin that soft and so flavorful in a long time! Definitely a favorite! Lastly, their staff! This is how every coffee shop should be! The hospitality was beyond words! First time here and came for breakfast before the parade. I order hot chocolate and a cinnamon roll. My cinnamon roll was tasty on the top but raw in the middle. A cinnamon roll should be gooey but not raw. I brought it back to the counter and they said they would get me a new one. I waited quite a while for my hot chocolate and when they brought it out it was like warm. They graciously made me a new one that was perfect. After quite wait the second roll came out and this was also raw in the middle. I can give grace for how long it took to get my items as they were busy. I ended up getting a blueberry muffin instead. I've only been there once on a date and we both ordered the same cappuccino and hers was full and mine was nearly two thirds full. It has an upstairs rooftop area, the seating is metal and wasn't clean but I still enjoyed the visit! First coffee shop I've ever been to that didn't have whipped cream, the girl behind the counter even looked at me funny when I asked for it. They also did not have soy milk. If you want decaf coffee, its extra - A LOT extra! Coffee was really good, but it was cold when I got it. I waited until I got home to drink it so I could heat it up. Plus I asked for honey and was told they usually charge extra for it but she gave it to me for free. First time I've heard that one too. I want an alternative to Starbucks, but this definitely isn't it. I probably won't be returning, which is unfortunate because coffee options around here are pretty limited. read more

It's great to have a locally owned coffee shop and one with a drive thru. Plenty of caffeine fix options. Also, a lot of food options. They do a good job of having seasonal options year round. I've never been inside but there is plenty of outdoor seating including on the roof. TV would probably help with length of stay considering they do serve food. My only knock is the food menu is expensive. 10 bucks for a pimento cheese sandwich or 3 bucks for a small breakfast taco is a bit high. read more
