Leticia the instructor made the long training enjoyable and provided plenty of additional tips and tricks throughout the day. All the equipment was clean and I appreciated having my own manikin to work with the entire day. Will definitely come here for my recertifications in the future!

She even drew upon applying clinical examples which made the material more relatable. The equipment was enough, kept clean, and hand sanitizer was provided at our desks. Text materials were provided (manual) and then some (study guide, algorithms, and EKG guides) to help us pass the course. The classroom environment was spacious enough given these covid times. The facilities they provided were far more generous than other training centers I have been to. Although, I would say that parking can get tight if you wait until last minute to get to your class; and I live fairly close to the area. Otherwise, I would recommend coming back as I know they offer other courses I would need to renew in the future too.

First, I am not writing this review to discourage anyone from learning CPR...it is a very important…read moreand lifesaving piece of knowledge to have and I encourage everyone to learn it. However, I just have to give a warning for those of you out there who are HEALTHCARE professionals looking for a renewal class. DO NOT take this class at this school, especially with the instructor Cathy!! I am sure outside of class that Cathy is a nice enough lady, but she was the worst instructor I had ever had and I have been taking CPR for HC professionals for years in various locations. Her teaching style leaves a lot to be desired as she uses public humiliation to get her point across. Case in point, she makes every participant demonstrate in front of everyone until she is satisfied with your technique. And if you can't get it right, she will chastise you in front of your peers. Furthermore, her class is INCREDIBLY too long - we began at 830am sharp and I did not leave her class until after 130pm...and I was one of the first to be done with my written skills test. I am just sorry for those who took longer to complete the test! Adding to the incredibly long class, she took 45 minutes in the beginning of class for housekeeping....."signature here, signature there, wash your hands, let us all introduce us to each other, blah...blah" The class room is also in a very claustrophobic location, the ceiling was so low that I could touch it (I'm 5'4") and it has no windows. We also had no breaks aside from one 5 minute break for water and granola bars - which she provided, which was nice of her. But to top it off, she did not have us watch the usual video from the American Heart Association as she claimed the "machine was broken." When one of my fellow students offered up his laptop to show the DVD, she refused. I think she just wanted to hear herself drone on and on. This class took up almost my entire Saturday and went at a snail's pace for all of us who have taken the class before (i.e. renewers). I can't recommend this class as it was not a good example of a AHA sponsored class that usually takes 3 hours, tops! Avoid if possible.

I am very glad I came back here again for my renewal course. Similar to before, this was very…read moreinformative and the instructor was great and explained each step very well. Years later I would still recommend this class with Deborah!

I love the concept - a bunch of commuter schools got together to share buildings and common…read morespaces. I'm sure it's awesome if you go to one of these schools and can call this hub your home base. I am not a student at any of the universities so I came through to see if I can sneak in and study. The parking garage said that payment is required 24/7 but the gates were open so I took my chances. There are also a few street parking spots. The Priddy Library is interestingly not marked on the map near the parking garage, but it is located in the Academic Building. As a community member, I was able to just walk in. The library is awesome for studying. There's tables, group spaces, standing desks, white boards, even couches with lap desks. Plenty of outlets everywhere and lots of natural light make it really pleasant. It is dead silent so whether you see that as a pro or con, is up to you. Besides paid parking, the other downside is that the guest wifi kicks out off after 1 hour.

Beautiful campus, small but nice. Parking are kind of far unless you do paid meter parking. There is grab and go snack and drinks facility in every building , which is very convenient. Also, is a gym , a library, conference rooms, and private rooms that can be reserved for group studies across five buildings.
