In my family, we love kolaches, so if there's a place that has them; we're going to try them. Mornings Kolaches has been a family favorite for YEARS. My mom took my sister and I to Mornings Kolaches when we were kids, and now we have a third generation of kolache lovers in the family. It's all in the dough. If you like King's Hawaiian Rolls, you need to come here. The dough they make is comparable to those sweet sweet rolls. They make their kolaches every morning from scratch and once they run out of a certain type, they're out for the day. They have a pretty decent variety of flavors including sausage gravy, and jolly peño. They also have classics like sausage and cheese, and ham and Swiss. The have drinks like Starbucks brand bottled Frappuccinos, sodas, coffee and probably other things, but I don't usually get a drink. They have at least 7 locations. Out of the 2 nearest my house, I like this one because it has a drive through. TIPS: * They close at noon so don't expect late lunch kolaches. * Ask for your kolaches warm. They're better that way. * Try the Ham & Swiss. It's delicious! * Ask for a Baker's Dozen Club Card. After your 12th purchase, the 13th is free. The best kolaches in town. I've tried the other places, but this one is definitely the best. For the meat varieties, the roll completely encapsulates the filling, so no sausage sticking out the end. The roll reminds me of a good dinner roll and isn't hard or crispy like at other places. The cream cheese and fruit varieties are like typical fruit kolaches from most places, but with the same soft roll. My favorites are the ham and swiss followed by the cream cheese. The strawberry cream cheese is good too. The ladies who work here are great and will typically get some right out of the oven if the ones on the shelf are cold. There is also a drive thru at this location if you don't want to go inside. read more

Fast service. Great kolaches! Convenient location. I'd say a little bit more pricewise, but their kolache's are worth it. They use sweetbread dough and always hot and fresh! They also sell breakfast tacos. Most of them good. The beef breakfast taco's are killer!! Coffee is a bit strong. They do have 3 or 4 types of coffee out at a time. They offer a frequent customer offer. Fill up the card and get free food. Not too had of a deal! I can't go on weekends because they open at the same time I have to start work. They never make enough of anything and aren't open on Sundays when a lot of people want to get breakfast on the weekend. Mistakes are also made in the drive through and of course you don't know until you get them to your destination and people bite into them. The drive through only has a window and no speaker, so the drive through times are ridiculous. read more

Got the boudin kolaches and a steak fajita kolaches from here the other morning and got food poisoning from one or the other. Are the kolaches at 6:00 am and started throwing up at 2:00 and lasted until 11:00 that night. Buyer beware- will NEVER eat there again!! We ordered ham kolaches today and there was masking tape inside one of them. It read, "Jamon M. 9-22". I bit into the ham kolache and pulled this out of my mouth. This raises a few questions. Besides the tape, was the meat expired? Ordered on 10/5/2016. read more
