PICK A DIFFERENT LOCATION!!...Horrible customer service. Very unsatisfying purchase for a service especially when I know I could have gotten better service at a different site for the same price. Horrible location. After 1mth of renting they revoked 24hr access to all customers due to an incident. They went to limited hours and said dont plan on going back to 24hr access unless you are a major/corporate client. I found this unfair because they advertise 24hr access, which is not accurate I asked to speak to the district manager and they refused to let me. I asked for a transfer to another Morniningstar site and without having to pay another "onboarding service/maintenance" fee of ~$50 and they refused to refund/credit this fee so I can transfer without having to pay the fee again, granted I have only been there for 1 month. 1month is not long enough to exhaust this service/maintenance fee; if i had been there for ~5mths then that would be understandable. One lady I spoke to on the phone was very rude and showed absolutely no empathy. They promised to call me back multiple times and never did. THEY DO NOT OFFER 24HR service at this location on Tyron. It is impossible to find customer service better than this. I have met the manager, Sherry, in passing and asked a brief question. She was very friendly and helpful. However, Melissa helped me get everything situated and she was amazing. I had about 5 things go wrong when trying to move from one location to another and needed a storage facility at the drop of a dime and she helped every step of the way. Her assistance, friendly attitude, and overall customer service actually turned a very stressful situation in a minor situation. I HIGHLY recommend anyone in need of storage to use this facility. I scheduled my reservation to move into my storage facility last month and heard back from Joyce within the hour to check in with me about my reservation to ensure my expectations and needs would be addressed. The facility itself is very well maintained, lit and I felt safe even going in the evening. The entire process was seamless and pain-free. Great experience. My move out date was a disaster due to an error on my part which required me to obtain another unit for a few months. The manager Melissa was very accommodating in every aspect from staying late for me to allowing me access to the facility's moving truck at the spur of the moment. Whitley their assistant was very helpful indeed. They create a payment plan as well as opportunities to schedule a time frame to use their storage vehicle for shipment. They will give you the best vacant and the closest one to the elevator. They always offer a warm welcoming. The place is clean and the storage rooms are big enough. Be warned, my locked unit was broken into, and I some electronics equipment was stolen (worth ~$2500). I rented the unit at the Southend Charlotte location (3015 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28217). I can't speak to other locations, but the main reason I rented the unit was for security and they failed miserably. read more

I have dealt with Morningstar storage in Fort Mill and Lake Wylie locations. Great experiences at both. Current unit at Lake Wylie location. Staff at Lake Wylie is amazing, helpful, and professional. Fair prices and clean units. Can't beat them !!! read more

Clean, well lit and safe. Even the bathroom was very clean! Very friendly staff. Would have rated 5 stars but a little pricey (guess you're paying for all things mentioned above). I would definitely recommend to family and friends. read more
