I was asked how I wanted to spend my birthday... I had to come to Morongo, hit the lazy river, then gamble at night! Was perfect weather and our bartender at the pool was phenomenal. Morongo has to address the amount of 18 year olds running around. (Perhaps they're 21 but it didn't appear so). They tend to jump on a table, make one bet, get rowdy, and don't play with correctly. When 1 person makes a bet, their 8 person group stands behind them making the table feel cramped. They then leave immediately and will circle back to jump back in and do it again. It's Just not the most enjoyable experience at the tables. The only thing missing at this casino is a craps table! They have electronic craps but nothing beats the feeling of throwing dice. Thursday night during summer is throwback tribute band night by the pool and Friday nights are Flamingo Friday pool party nights with live DJs. The Bon Jovi tribute band Thursday night was a lot of fun, and the best part of the trip was the Juneteenth Flamingo Friday night pool party. The energy was fantastic, the pool was well heated, decor was pink flamingos, DJs were great, and the dance floor was energized! I had such a great time. Table game minimums are pretty high, but still a lot of fun. The new poker room is stylin'. Rooms are luxurious and so comfortable! The Sandy Beach pool, lazy river, waterslide, and two hot tubs are the bomb. The gym is also superb, as is the spa. I did some shopping at the Cabazon outlets and came away with some cute new things. Morongo is in Cabazon next to the outlet. It's a resort, spa, ballroom, plenty of eateries. It's massive. Ranked as the third largest slot machine casino in southern CA under Pechanga and Yamava as number one. It's one of the two 18 and up casino besides Barona. The food court had Fatburger, Panda Express, Fiesta Taco, Italian Kitchen, Ruffed Feathers. Wahburgers next door. So many new slots that I haven't seen before. Since it is an 18 and up casino, there were lots of young folks. The air was clean, great vibe, great lighting. Free parking. read more

The staff was nice and polite, the rooms were clean and looked quite new with nice amenities. The lazy river and pool are nice and you're able to use them before your room is available on your day of check in, as well as your day of check out. There's a tram to the auxiliary casino where there's bingo. Bingo is expensive for the whole enchilada package where you play over 100 cards per game, which sounds nice until you realize everyone is playing a similar number of cards and some people have multiple tablets, so your chances aren't great. But it took up some time and stretched that $110 for longer than the equivalent time playing slots. We didn't come here to gamble, just to hang out and relax. It was good for that. And there were reasonable food options at the food court inside where you could get a pretty decent meal for $20-25. All in all, not bad. We enjoyed the trip here. read more

We rented the Casita at the Morongo Casino and I will definitely be back! It was so beautiful with its own little dipping pool. Outside shower and the gate that let out to the main pool area we took my aunt for an early Mother's Day excursion. You can tell that Morongo tried to create an oasis in the desert and they've created a nice "not in Vegas", Vegas experience! Located right off the 10 freeway you can see this place from miles away! The main building towers about everything else for miles! Once you get off the freeway there are several food options before you get inside as well as an extremely large parking garage! Parking isn't a problem here! I didn't noticed if there were EV chargers but there is a gas station. I didn't make it into the spa or the pool but the main casino is well thought out! It's designed in an oval with restaurants, restrooms and cashier's cages on the exterior and the main casino with machines and tables on the interior. It's presented like a legit casino as they host concerts, theres's a hotel with a lazy river and several restaurants ranging from burgers and fries to steak. There are very clean bathrooms, lots of tv's promoting events and specials plus lots of security. Also I don't want to forget the smoking section (even a smoking slot room). I came on a Monday afternoon on a whim and it wasn't too crowded. Seems like a place where you can just unplug and gamble or it could be a good option for a four or five day stay-cation where you just check in for a couple of days minus the drive or flight to Vegas! I loved how they gave you small portions so you don't over serve yourself. It's definitely not cheap. I paid $316.72 for 6 adults. I paid extra for the crab legs ($20.00). You pay for that separately at the bar. They also give you a complementary ticket for a free mimosa. All the waiters and waitresses are very attentive. They pick up your plates right away. I did not stay at the Casino, but reserved a spot at their Flamingo Fridays Oasis Pool Party and let me tell you....it was AWESOME! When first walking in, there is an impressive view of the whole pool area. The shallow wading pool was flanked by beach lounge chairs with plenty of room to mingle and socialize. Next up was the spacious 3 foot deep pool with giant inflatable flamingos with a perfect water temperature. Now the main attraction was the luxurious lazy river with ample inner tubes for all. The drink specials were very affordable and the DJ was spinning all the best current hits as well as some choice old skool joints. There was a real PARTY on the dance floor that Friday night....just saying. I 100% will be back and I 100% recommend the Friday Night pool party for anyone who is looking for a good time. read more

Invited to Mothers Day Brunch. First we had to get in a long line to get registered, eventhough my daughter registered on line. Every adult had to show a Player's card and ID. Employee who helped us at the Registration desk was polite-gentlemen assisting at the line to be sure we know we had to have ID and Player's card, so we wouldn't be dissappointed when we go to the front of the line. Then, there was another very long line to go up the escalator to the Ball Room. That was organized well, alternating two lines for those using the escalator-staff making sure some patrons do not cut in line. At Ball Room we go to our assigned table. Table number display could have been on 4 sides, so that when you step away it would be easier to find your table when you return: then there are 2 more long lines for the Buffet, which is set up in the area outside of the dining room. I didn't notice the seafood area, which was a distance from the main Buffet line. Another line for ham and prime rib. Inside the ballroom drinks and desserts only are available. We got two plates because we didn't want to stand in line again. Entertainment by Jon B.-loud, loud...singing/music. Majority of the 'mothers were over 50' that I noticed. It was difficult to have a conversation with those at the table. I visually counted about 5 tables with no guests on our side of the room. Morongo itself is a fun casino. I remember coming here for my 18th birthday when they just opened. It's definitely a younger crowd because it allows gambling at such a young age compared to the other casinos around. I really like the rooms and the pool is great too overall a fun time to come and visit! ... and it's right off the freeway, so it's conveniently located. The only downside is you're staying at the hotel and you bring a cooler security will check before you go upstairs. The Sage Spa was an amazing place to relax and it gave me what I needed to push on through to the next stop along the trail. I especially want to thank Lexy at Radiance Salon for the special care and attention she gave me when she cut my hair. She was very kind and was a big part of what kept me going. I realize that most who stay here may not be doing it for the same reasons but I think it's worth mentioning that this is the kind of place you can go to just to relax and take a break from whatever it is that you need to get space from on the outside. I was invited to Morongo's 2025 New Year's Eve Regency Ball. Which happened to be on my 58th birthday. This was the best birthday I have ever had. Everything was well organized. The food was free and they had live music. They had people taking pictures to memorize the moment. The theme this year was amazing. The time and effort that was put into this event was truly amazing. My 18 year old son escorted me to the event and he was overwhelming impressed. The best part of all...At the end of the gala..the slots were loose. Great job Morongo. Stopped in here for a quick table fix. Their greed is pretty evident and they seem to be taking away any neutral game. Most Blackjack tables are push 22 so they stack their advantage. This is very unfair and do not recommend. Most of older games are removed that are less predatory. Been to Morongo or near by multiple times. But stayed there once last year at the hotel. The rooms are very clean and check in was fast. Parking could be hard, side not remember to go on the side ramp to go up the structure as there is no way up in the same level. They have the best lighting in their hotel bathroom. Definitely recommend to stay here if you're coming from out of state or country as it is also close to dessert hills outlet which has a lot of shopping. This place uses blatant, favoritism and supportive their regular clientele. Without a doubt, they have made it so that their players have optimized situations. One player released their hand halfway across the table, and the dealer let it slide for several minutes then they were allowed to reach over the line halfway across the table to bring their hand back.
