Our first time to stay at this hotel. We have two rooms and both beautiful and well equipped. Big rooms and comfortable beds. They have lazy river included in the room for 4 each room. Variety of restaurants available. Excellent staff service from Housekeeping to front desk. 18 years old and older allowed to play at the casino. Casino doesn't smell like smoke; though people are allowed to do so. They also have a small food court available that has Panda Express, Italian, and Mexican cuisine. 8-12-2026

Morongo! Commercial casinos are permitted only in those states that have specifically legalized them (like Nevada does in Reno and Las Vegas). California has not legalized commercial casinos. So how do Morongo, Yamaava, Agua Caliente and the other California casinos do it? They are all located on Indian lands. Native American tribes can own casinos in certain areas due to tribal sovereignty, which allows federally recognized tribes to operate largely independently of state gambling regulations, so long as they do so on sovereign lands. What's different? Primarily, no Sports Book, and no traditional roulette or craps (they use cards instead of dice or a roulette ball). Also, slot machine payouts are not as transparent as, say, Nevada state gaming laws require. Also, no high end shopping, but the Cabazon outlets are right next door, and El Paseo shopping in Palm Desert is right down the lane. What's the same? Super giant gaming floor with a zillion slots machines from one penny to $500 per pull. There's a fancy steakhouse on top which I will try next time, an AYCE buffet, and a few other restaurants. I have not stayed there, as I am loyal to Bonvoy properties, but everyone in the know says the lazy river cannot be beat. Free parking, though you must hoof it from some distance to the casino door. Gamble responsibly Yelpers!

The casino has a lot of new amd fun slots. I like that the smoking section has decent games. This casino also has a lot of awesome venues. However my experience here was swayed heavily by the security here. Also their rewards system suck. 1 star bc the rent a cop on the bike forced me to go home with my husband right away while we were not in a good mood with each other. Id never come again. I can lose thousands elsewhere.

    My lucky day.

By far my favorite casino. Gives me money back to plays. The selection of restaurants and the food is good. Plenty of bars to sit and watch sports. The staff are a very helpful.

I was asked how I wanted to spend my birthday... I had to come to Morongo, hit the lazy river, then gamble at night! Was perfect weather and our bartender at the pool was phenomenal. Morongo has to address the amount of 18 year olds running around. (Perhaps they're 21 but it didn't appear so). They tend to jump on a table, make one bet, get rowdy, and don't play with correctly. When 1 person makes a bet, their 8 person group stands behind them making the table feel cramped. They then leave immediately and will circle back to jump back in and do it again. It's Just not the most enjoyable experience at the tables. The only thing missing at this casino is a craps table! They have electronic craps but nothing beats the feeling of throwing dice. I will say I was happy to hit an unexpected hand pay at the end of my day. I'll be back for the lazy river for sure. Always a good time

What a fun casino that welcomes 18+ to their casino! For the past two years we have celebrated our daughter's 18th and 19th birthday. The pool is great with a lazy river and shallow lagoon. There is a buffet and food court. And so many different types of slot machines and tables. Make sure to grab a players card for the great rewards program.

Morongo is still the best place for good times! I just spent two nights with a friend for Juneteenth weekend. Thursday night during summer is throwback tribute band night by the pool and Friday nights are Flamingo Friday pool party nights with live DJs. The Bon Jovi tribute band Thursday night was a lot of fun, and the best part of the trip was the Juneteenth Flamingo Friday night pool party. The energy was fantastic, the pool was well heated, decor was pink flamingos, DJs were great, and the dance floor was energized! I had such a great time. Table game minimums are pretty high, but still a lot of fun. The new poker room is stylin'. Rooms are luxurious and so comfortable! The Sandy Beach pool, lazy river, waterslide, and two hot tubs are the bomb. The gym is also superb, as is the spa. I did some shopping at the Cabazon outlets and came away with some cute new things. It's always fun to have a desert getaway.

I've been coming to this casino for 15 years, it's always a good time! They have done some major renovations over the years since I've last been here. I love what they have done, definitely upgraded! The blackjack dealers are pretty friendly, mixed with a few that aren't. The only downside to this property is that isn't 18+ so you do get a very young crowd on the weekends. It keeps it lively inside, only they are all new to gambling, and jump in and out of the tables a lot. They also seem to pool their money, so 1 guy will play while the other 6 stand over him and watch. Just makes the whole table and casino floor feel overly crowded, with a lot of them not even gambling. Still a great place to play!

Morongo is in Cabazon next to the outlet. It's a resort, spa, ballroom, plenty of eateries. It's massive. Ranked as the third largest slot machine casino in southern CA under Pechanga and Yamava as number one. It's one of the two 18 and up casino besides Barona. The food court had Fatburger, Panda Express, Fiesta Taco, Italian Kitchen, Ruffed Feathers. Wahburgers next door. So many new slots that I haven't seen before. Since it is an 18 and up casino, there were lots of young folks. The air was clean, great vibe, great lighting. Free parking.

A little getaway without the getaway. Need a mental reset but can't commit to a full vacation? A pool day at Morongo is one of my favorite ways to recharge without leaving all my responsibilities behind. I've done this twice now, and both visits have been seamless. Be sure to call ahead and reserve a cabana or daybed they're reasonably priced and well worth it. For an extra discount get your morongo club card before paying for your cabana. Your reservation also includes a snack box stocked with sodas, bottled water, chips, and candy, which is a nice added touch. Once you're settled, you can lounge by the pool or head straight for the lazy river. Floating along with a drink in hand while soaking up the sun is about as relaxing as it gets. The pool staff regularly checks in to see if you need anything, and you can order food and drinks right from your spot. One of the biggest perks is that when you've had enough sun, you can walk right into the casino to try your luck at the slots or table games it's the best of both worlds. A couple of tips: if you have flexibility, visit while school is in session. It's noticeably less crowded, making for a much more relaxing experience. Also, the music can get pretty loud, so conversations with your group may be a little challenging at times. Overall, if you're looking for a fun, affordable staycation or a relaxing day trip, Morongo delivers. It's become one of my favorite escapes when I need a break without actually getting away.

If you can stay here on a less popular day (we stayed on a Sunday), the rates are pretty reasonable (Fri and Sat are significantly more expensive). The staff was nice and polite, the rooms were clean and looked quite new with nice amenities. The lazy river and pool are nice and you're able to use them before your room is available on your day of check in, as well as your day of check out. There's a tram to the auxiliary casino where there's bingo. Bingo is expensive for the whole enchilada package where you play over 100 cards per game, which sounds nice until you realize everyone is playing a similar number of cards and some people have multiple tablets, so your chances aren't great. But it took up some time and stretched that $110 for longer than the equivalent time playing slots. We didn't come here to gamble, just to hang out and relax. It was good for that. And there were reasonable food options at the food court inside where you could get a pretty decent meal for $20-25. All in all, not bad. We enjoyed the trip here.

We love the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa. It's a great stop while you're traveling in and out of Palm Springs or even LA. They have great service and also a huge amount of things to do while you're staying at the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa. While traveling in and out of the desert stop at Morongo Casino Resort and Spa you'll have a great time and you might just leave with a couple extra bucks in your pocket.

One of my most favorite casinos in Southern California. Always a good time. The resort is really fun with the best pools and some really nice restaurants. There is also a spa. We come here a few times a year either for a daytrip or overnight weekend trip. Either way we love it. I specially love playing at the black Jack tables and roulette. Fun fun fun. But always with a preset limit for gambling.

Yes they can stay at the hotel and use the pool. You can even get day passes for the pool

Do they have crapless craps machine?

I am so sorry I am not sure if they have them.

Yes! You can also order your drinks while at a slot machine or table from the waiters/waitress going around with coffee and stuff

    Phone number for casino?

    951-849-3080

My son is turning 18 soon & is excited to play blackjack. He's been practicing. Is allowed to play both blackjack & the slots?

Yes! He should be allowed to participate in either! ☺️

    What's your best restaurant deal?

The Best Deal is to go to Morongo Casino and go to the Food Hall and Gourmet Stations at " The Marketplace ". There are so many unique items to choose from.

Can kids eat at the restaurants?

Yes they can. They cannot stay in the casino.

Can u bring alcohol in your room?

Unless they have changed the rules lately, yes you can bring Alcohol in your room. We did !

Does Morongo have a bubble craps machine? Do they have a craps table?

Yes. They have a few with the giant bouncy dice in them.

I know this is going to sound weird but we are only going to use the lazy pool. I have two kids 6 and 10. How is the pool and is there anything else to do with kids? Thank you,

Its the worst service and if u do not want to get ur money stolen would recommend anywere but morongo

Do hotel guests have to pay extra to use the lazy pool river? The website is confusing where it indicates lazy river pricing for hotel guests.

There's no extra fee to use the lazy river and inner tubes are provided.

Do you still have free RV overnight parking?

I believe I saw a designated sign that said they do on our recent visit

Can 18 year olds play here?

Last time I checked, yes! If you're making a special trip, I would probably call first because things can change at the last minute.

    Is the resort pet friendly?

No, they aren't. Only service animals. Sorry!

If you have a room at the hotel, is there an additional fee to be able to use the pool?

No additional fee, you get 2 wristbands for king and 4 for a 2 queen bed room.

Are the casitas set up with they're own swimming pool? And how much is it per night?

I believe it's only a jacuzzi and you have a private gate to access the main pool. Not sure if the cost per night, you'd have to call.

    Offer Dog daycare?

No! They do not! And they do not allow you to leave your pet in the car. They will call the police and Animal control.…

Is the buffet open at morongo?

No the buffet is not open.

My wife is on special diet do they allow you to bring in a microwave since one is not providedin the room?

They said "No" outside microwaves allowed.

Are the lazy River tubes free or do you have to pay? Should we bring our own?

I was just there in February, and there were plenty of free and available lazy river tubes! It was off season, though, so double check me and call to confirm.
