Cookies are my favorite dessert, so when I heard the buzz on our local Facebook page about this new cookie shop, I knew I had to get there this week. Yum and yay!!! We tried three on this trip: The chocolate chip is good, but the oatmeal raisin is so delicious and flavorful that I know it will be my regular order. For a special treat, the s'more cookie was absolutely incredible and will probably become the store's best seller. It's like a chocolate chip cookie base with marshmallows in it and a square of Hershey's chocolate on the top. What makes it special is that it has a graham cracker on the bottom. Everything was fresh. They stay open until they sell out so could go till 6 PM unless it's high season and they get busy. By the way, we noticed that they also sell soft-serve ice cream and they have a collection of candy. There is a separate indoor seating area with colorful tables for those hot days. read more

All I could say is wow. I've had the cookies, the tarts, the pastries and even some of the amazing sourdough bread and I would have to say you must stop at this location. The owner and the staff are amazing and very educated. definitely I must have on your go to list. This new little shop is right next to cactus Mart in Morongo. A great location, had an eclair and a turkey Swiss croissant. I get you're not a vegan cookie shop but would it kill you not to use animal products? We randomly stopped by on our way out of Joshua Tree. This place is great! I believe the gentleman helping me was the owner and baker. You can tell he takes pride in his cookies and they were delicious, especially the vegan GF lemon. Id recommend you stop for a sweet treat. First timer going into the store. These cookies are to die for. Amazing and LOVED the Lemon cookie. OMGOSH so soft and the right amount of sweet and softness. Also of course got the s'mores cookie and yes amazing as well. It is a hit in my house. Love that they sale a day old cookies for $1 on the side. Candy and drinks are available. Even soft serve ice cream as well. Honestly stop by and get a cookie stamp card. What a great business to have a cookie shop in town. I didn't get her name but she was such a lovely lady, she explained to me that everything was made fresh and they didn't use any harsh or crazy ingredients. The inside of the place was very colorful and decorated well! The cookie prices were good, WAY better than crumbl & cookie plug. We had been wanting to go since before they even opened. Especially once the cute neon window decor was on. Finally made it but it was super close to closing. We thought we missed it. She opened back up for us and gave us incredible service. The cookies are amazing and the selection is vast. They even have a happy hour. The shop was very clean and welcoming. These cookies are SO good! Like serious business...the s'more cookies have a graham cracker in them, and any other type is loaded with candies or whatever the cookie flavor is. This is a nice CLEAN little shop. The ambiance is bright and happy, and the service is friendly and accommodating. I am a germaphobe (like one of the other reviewers) and I have never seen anything unfavorable. They use paper and or tongs. If a finger has ever inadvertently touched a cookie, I didn't see it, and I will live through it. read more

I have never lift a review before in my life, so here it goes, I start ordering a dozen cookies, and the older lady is helping me. As I am watching her grab the cookies she places the paper on the cookie and grabs the outside of of the cookie, with her bear hands, I watched as she did this with 6 out of the 8 she put into the box. I told her I didn't want anymore. I explained why, she got a attitude with me and told me I didn't basically didn't know what I was talking about. Maybe she isn't trained properly in food handling? Then she tried charging me 34 dollars for 8 cookies, when a dozen is only 30 dollars. Seeing what I saw makes me question their food sanitary conditions when noone is around. I will never go back to this establishment. If I could give a 0 star I would. read more
