The morning of the delivery we received a call from the business stating that they did not have the full order. When asked why, we were told that "When we placed the order of rocks, the computer showed they had the quantity of what we needed. But the morning of the delivery, they did not have the full order, just a few of the items that we had requested." We were told that it would take about a week to get said product back in stock. A week to the day my husband called in to enquire about our order. The rep that we spoke with said they didn't have our product in store, nor did they have a clue as to what happened with it. It was obvious that they had no plans to check into this matter, nor give us a call to update us on the progress of the order. We were lied to several times during this process, thus leaving us very upset and discouraged. My husband and I truly believe that the order was given away to someone else. They were not apologetic or even concerned about how we felt during this 2 week process, only to come up empty handed!!! I would not use this location of Siteone in Gastonia as they treated us very unfairly and unprofessional! My prayer is that no one else have to deal with what we went through! To all of you out there who are complaining that Siteone does not offer a warranty on their plants…read more They are a wholesale retailer, so their prices are cheaper than what you will pay elsewhere. So you can't offer a one year guarantee and be cheaper. I don't think you do that in your business. And second, the plants are healthy and alive when you buy them. They typically die because you the installer do not water them enough, or overwater them, or do not amend the soil when you put them in the ground, and or not everything lives when it's removed from a bucket and put in the ground, the plant sometimes goes into shock And dies, I mean, this isn't sheet rock or plywood. It's a living organism and it can die for reasons beyond our responsibility.

We make every effort to support small businesses and take reviews very seriously, thus waiting nearly a year to write this review in hopes the owner would follow through. No such luck. I have emails to document all of the broken promises. Our 1+ acre property is far from being finished and we will have to sink more money in to make it look presentable. Our family member has since experienced similar issues as some plants have died and he promises 1 time replacement if under a year.
