We rent, so technically it's our landlord's contract--but we recommend them to everyone anytime HVAC comes up. Our building is an older early-1900s property split into residential and office units, each with separate systems, so there's always something that needs routine maintenance or attention. Over the years, they've handled everything from regular servicing to installing a new heating and AC system and redoing a condensation line--and every time it's been smooth and stress-free. I don't know how they do it but they always manage to get our climate controlled even in the meantime if they need to order parts and come back. After the pandemic, when parts and shipping were taking longer than usual, we were quoted 2 weeks for the replacement part. After mentioning to them that I would be staying at my parents until it could be fixed since I have heart issues that cause extreme heat sensitivity, RW Miller went above and beyond and was somehow able to get the part and have the issue fixed in 3 days. They're always prompt, efficient, and easy to work with. And honestly, that matters even more when life is chaotic. I always seem to have some kind of project going on--most recently, I had our entire second bedroom (which doubles as a giant walk-in closet) completely emptied out with clothes everywhere when, of course, the AC went out . I would've dreaded letting just anyone into that situation, but their team is always kind, understanding, and totally nonjudgmental. We especially LOVE Rusty. He's incredibly knowledgeable, no-nonsense, a great communicator, and as a bonus--amazing with our dog. At this point we joke that we sent Christmas Cards, we'd definitely have him on our list! I've never lived somewhere that required this much HVAC upkeep, and honestly, we wouldn't have stayed here if our landlord hadn't switched to RW Miller. I called Miller heating and air conditioning to repair my air conditioner. They were the ones that…read moreinstalled it 5 years ago approximately. And it was still under warranty. They came out so there was a leak they couldn't find it they charged it up and said let it run will see how much leaks out. It was raining heavy that day so they couldn't work on it. Next morning I noticed that the air conditioning was cycling on and off. Hear all the refrigerant at leaked out and it burnt the compressor up. I contacted Miller's heating air conditioning Beverly Ohio. And they said the coil and the compressor or under warranty but they want an eight to $900 labor to install it. I find this labor price to be excessive especially in the light of they're the ones who caused the damage to the compressor from the leak when they told me to let it run. A local Construction Company that helped build this house , and has done some other work for me. They recommended them. I will be talking with them and seeing if they can switch their recommendations from Miller air conditioning in the future.

After calling an emergency plumber, they found that the issue was tree roots busting through our pipes and that their 100 ft snake could not clear them. We were told it would be pretty expensive to fix and they talked about a "sectional" and anywhere from $750 to $900 for that. My husband called Rivertown the next morning, desperate. They came out quickly and were able to clear the "2 small root balls" going about 85 feet in with their snake. It didn't take long at all, and they saved us money not needing to use more than the snake. The men very very nice and great at their jobs. Thank you guys! My sister recently found a water leak under her house. With her husband having passed away a few years ago, she doesn't have someone there to help with these kinds of things, so a lot of that responsibility falls on my dad. My dad is 75 years old. He's a retired Marine, retired school teacher, and one of those guys who can fix anything. If something needed fixed, he was always the one crawling under houses, climbing ladders, digging ditches, or figuring out a way to get it done. But time catches up with all of us. The thought of my dad having to crawl around under a house in a tiny crawl space trying to find this leak worried me. I know he still wants to do those things, but he's not 40 years old anymore. Thankfully, Chris Wells with Platinum Plumbing stepped in. My dad said Chris worked incredibly hard, crawling under that house multiple times, finding the leak, and getting it fixed.
