Like who the HELL is he to tell me what is covered and what isn't. I asked to speak to office staff he says NO. I said I have been going to Dr. Martin for 8 years and I need to make an appt. He says (mind you this is June 2024) that there are no appts. until next year and hung up.....OK so I decided to take it a step further. I wrote a personal and confidential note to Dr. Martin explaining what happened and how disappointed I was that I could no longer go to her because I was not allowed to make an appt. with her office without going through the red tape in Calcutta, India......Of course she never answered me either. She is just part of the CAMPUS now.....which is Summit Medical CORPORATE that now owns their staff. They are instructed to see one patient every 10 minutes whether they like it or not...Very sad that this is what doctors will do for a paycheck. However, I do feel it's important to be honest about the front desk experience. There is one receptionist who answers the phone and tends to be unfriendly, which unfortunately discourages people, my daughter included, from wanting to schedule appointments. It's disappointing, especially when the medical care here is outstanding. Cheryl was always a favorite, warm, kind, and welcoming, and I truly miss her. Susan is also wonderful and treats patients with the same kindness and respect we all deserve. When patients walk into a doctor's office, they're often dealing with pain, fear, or vulnerability.
