The bad: the building is old and dated and the parking lot is somewhat confusing! Now let's look at the good! The car hop was prompt and very polite! She knew the menu and answered our questions. Some outsider ny yankees may not appreciate an appalachian hot dog with more than just some sweet peppers thrown on it from dirty water on a roadside cart with their grocery store nathans weenies but these are the best tasting dogs I've ever had and I've been just about all up and down the east coast. The soggy bun may not sit with some but it helps add to the flavor profile overall. Some like toasted, some like stale, some like fluffy and some like it at morrisons. Food was delicious,and the service was very quick just honk your horn and they come right out bring you the food right to your window ..I have had the burgers and they come on Texas toast which is buttered to perfection and fries was very crispy just the way I like them and to wash it down I suggest a ice cold mug of root beer I definitely will be going back read more

This is my second review of Morrison's. Let me start by saying that to me, they make absolutely the best hot dog on planet earth. I'm from the area and grew up on them. Get one and don't pay attention to the fact that it's wrapped in cellophane and all smooshed together. I know that to the unaccustomed they can appear a little seemly. They're fantastic. The onion rings are a work of greasy art and the vanilla shakes are really good. I have been to Morrison's a few times since my last review and I have to agree. The service is much better and that makes me happy. I want to love Morrison's and I do. My biases aside, you gotta try the hot dogs. (Chili, Mustard, onions and slaw. Just waited 30 minutes for our order of dogs before giving up and driving away. The employee ( short heavy blond woman wearing baseball cap) who took our order had time to take FOUR SMOKE BREAKS in front of our car but never actually entered our order to the kitchen. We had a huge order 8 chicken baskets and a cheeseburger basket. We called it in and it took a while to come out. But the waitress came out and talked to us and told us it was going to be a few minutes. When we got our food it was really good. Onion rings were only thing that could have been a little more done but it is a great place to eat. read more

Please don't get me wrong.. I absolutely LOVE Morrison's!!! But whoever was cooking today 4-1-21 around 1:30-15til 2, didn't know what they were doing or was doing it out of meaness!! I got hotdogs that had pickles on them and ordered a cheeseburger with just pickles, mayo and ketchup.. got the burger and it had everything but what I asked for...smh!! We spent the night in Logan WV on our way back from upstate NY and found this place on Facebook. There's something like 400+ reviews averaging 4.5 stars + on there. No comprendo.... I ordered a hot dog and she asked "just one?" Umm yeah, Facebook peeps are all talking about how good the dogs were. They weren't. It was a grocery store hot dog with cheese and chili. The cheap kind of dog, not Hebrew National, like 99 cent a package hotdogs. My fiancée ordered a burger which was basically a puck of meat between 2 grilled slices of bread, kraft American cheese and a ring of onion. Meh. The fries were ok. Morrison's is one of the places I HAVE to eat at when I come back home to Logan. I rave about the fried chicken livers, so that's my biggest recommendation. The food was ok. My son's corndog was the best item we had. The hot dogs may have been better if they hadn't been wrapped in plastic making them really soggy. My husband's burger was alright, nothing social. The service was good. It's kind of fun to be waited on in your car. If I'm in Logan again, I may come back but I'm not making a special trip. read more

Their chicken gizzards were always my favorite as a kid! They've been around for ages and I hope to see them around even longer!

We did the curbside service. The person who took the order seem to be unhappy was kinda grouchy, it is service without a smile, seem to be grumpy must be over worked. We ordered burgers & it wasn't that good, Too much mustard like soaking wet with mustard. If u like mustard then it's ok otherwise order mustard on the side. read more
