    Everything was on pointe tonight! I wanted something different than fast food, and 317 always hits the spot. There were only 4 other tables occupied and it was a quiet ambient environment. Our server Grace was attentive and refilled our drinks each passing. The filet was cooked perfect, crab cake was crispy, and shrimp was juicy, and the creamy sauce was chefs kiss! Perfect combo of flavors! The fettuccine was al dente and the Alfredo was creamy and delicious also. I also had an order of cheese fries and a salad, which were great too. Their homemade ranch is my favorite. Anytime you want an upscale experience but want to stay close to home, I'd recommend 317! Or if you're out of town, and want some higher class fare other than chain fast food, give 317 a try!

    Medium Filet? I think not.

    Sadly, I do not recommend. There are so few places to get a good meal in the area, so it's sad this place is off the short list. Guest and myself both ordered medium Filet... came out extremely rare. I can eat anything from medium rare to shoe leather, but neither of us could manage to endure all 9 Oz of the uncooked, stringy piece of meat. Other items were par/subpar. Waitress was sweet and apologetic so no complaints there, but how this place stays open when the food is priced like fine dining, but delivers like an off brand Dennys is beyond me.

    Steak was perfectly cooked. Ordered the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. 3 small shrimp for 10 bucks. Ripoff. Waitress was great.

    Highly recommend. Good atmosphere. Food is excellent and service is great. Lucky to have such a great restaurant in Logan.

    After a day of riding the trails this place was awesome. Who would have thought a place like this existed in the middle of nowhere.

Darren welcomes you with such casual hospitality that five minutes after sitting down you start wondering if you've accidentally been adopted. 2. The Scioto Ribber is so unpretentious that if a New York food critic walked in wearing a $3,000 suit, the steak would still be the most impressive thing in the room. 3. Some steakhouses sell atmosphere. The Ribber sells steak and lets the atmosphere happen naturally. 4. The menu has less ego than most restaurant owners. 5. The steak arrives looking like it just won a bar fight and a beauty contest on the same day. 6. Every bite tastes like somebody figured out how to barbecue a memory. 7. The char-smoked flavor is so unique that if you served it blindfolded, half the table would think they were eating at a ranch in Montana and the other half would think they died and went to beef heaven. 8. Fancy steakhouses spend millions trying to create authenticity. The Ribber accidentally has it. 9. The wait staff are professionals disguised as neighbors. 10. The service is so genuine that when they ask how you're doing, it feels like they actually want the answer. 11. Other restaurants train employees. The Ribber seems to raise them correctly. 12. We were in visiting on a work trip and we were looking for some great food. First off, the venue space is nice. I really liked the atmosphere and vibe. Unfortunately, things kind of didn't start well and they just went downhill from there. We were looking at the higher dollar menu items like the seabass and scallops. They had a scallops special that caught our attention but the chef wouldn't budge on the menu sides. We were looking for something lower carb. What I wanted was the scallop dinner with the special miso sauce, but instead of the sweet potato hash, I wanted veggies. But the server said the chef said no. Based on that, we both ended up ordering a hamburger. It wasn't what we wanted but we felt it was the safest option based on the quality of the appetizer. You see, we had ordered some calamari and it was so bad we had to send it back. It was nothing but hard crunchy batter. There was very little calamari actually in the pieces. You couldn't even pierce it with your fork. It was horrible. Based on the quality and flavor of the calamari, we decided to not take the risk on sea bass or scallops. The burgers came out and they were ok. Nothing special. I've read through some of the other reviews about the complaints of how salty the food is, and I can confirm the food we had was way over salted. Now for the service. This was a really awkward and uncomfortable night. The server was trying but he honestly didn't fit the price point of the menu. Each interaction was more awkward than the next. The things he would say and the way he communicated, made us so confused and uncomfortable. He was a nice guy, he just probably isn't a good fit as a server. We've had good meals in Charleston before, tonight wasn't one of them. The martinis we had were good, but we walked out of there only spending $70, while we had a budget of $125 each to spend. This restaurant lost out on $180 worth of business all because they didn't want to budge on the scallops dish. Do the math, this wasn't a smart business decision.
