I love coming to this establishment on a weekly basis. The produce is always in great shape and although it is very difficult to keep buying seasonal veggies, Morse does an excellent job of keeping their own grown produce available as long as possible. They still have a large selection of veggies and fruits that are not grown by them to satisfy consumers but nothing compares to the items they have available throughout the spring-early winter. Whenever I go to Morse, I never spend much money but get such a wide variety of produce! I love it. I really feel like I am getting my moneys worth for such a better quality product than any grocery store can supply. I will continue to shop here for all my produce and be a satisfied customer. also, they have freebees sometimes like if you spend over 20 you get a free bag of potatoes or you get some cute decoration for fall. I'm a college student, and I SO look forward to my family buying fresh vegitables from Morse's. This place is a big hit with my family. Their prices are very affordable, and they are open year-round! I have never heard a bad thing about their service, or their produce. --They also have a beautiful green house that is connected to the side of their building - it's definitely worth a peek when you go. read more

Looking to save money on produce? You can pick here from what was just picked from the fields hours (or moments!) earlier. In season, much of the produce is home-grown...yum! However, Morse stays open year-round, 9AM to 6PM seven days. Right now, fresh-picked corn. You might think it's pricey at 70 cents per ear, but compared to the Choppers 6/$2.99 last week, this one is still warm from the field with a wet stem base! Just about everything here is less expensive than the grocery store. After shopping at and eating from here I can see why bunnies live on lettuces. Yummy, and always 99 cents a head. What with all the money you save you can drive south on SR 169 to SR 171 in South Woodstock, CT, then continue east on 171 till Putnam where you'll meet Bill (Bill's Bread and Breakfast, that is) on the left shortly after the cemetery with the trumpeting angels. Loads of fresh produce - specifically pumpkins and HUGE cabbage fresh from the garden. They boast a large variety of pies in their peak season. The staff was super friendly and open. I wish they roasted their delicious looking corn so I could have tasted some! read more

this place got a write up in the new york times this year, but you would never know it from its humble location and people! great produce, and delicious soup and pie. i only wish i was here in the summer when they have twenty varieties! note: apparently, this farm is famous for a very sweet variety of corn called mirai. it wasn't available when we were here, but apparently some come all the way from cape cod to get it! read more

Oh how I love the cheese and pickles! They have a great Cheddar cheese, $6.99 a pound. Dill and sour pickles. We go here about a dozen times a year. Stopped this weekend to gets our mums early this year. Best place to Mums. $4.99 for 8inch. They grow them there. Any plants I have every gotten here have latest long and done well. The veggies are great. look for the signs that tell you what is from there garden and grab those. Also the best corn on the cob! read more

I went through a process of purchasing a Thanksgiving Turkey at this Farm Stand and gave a deposit to reserve a Turkey. During the process from beginning to end there was nothing but missed information. Worse place to do business with and unprofessional staff, I will never go back!. read more
